Brush cotton bedding is the best for winter, lovely & cosy during the freezing cold winter months
It really is!
I live down South and we do have pie and peas but not pork pie and peas. Usually have a chicken and mushroom pie or steak and kidney
Yeah, the pork pie and peas is a strange one for me.
Get one of those little net covers for the downpipe.....that will stop leaves blocking it.
👍
Hi both brush cotton bedding is amazing mine goes on as soon as it gets cold. Love it Dunelm is best for the sheets. Asda for the quilt covers. Take care of yourselves 💙

Love Leigh’s eye just dreamy. Leigh has the best facial expression’s
We sell that can of Mushy Peas here in our supermarkets in Australia. We also do the pie and pea at bakeries.
Good old pie and peas
Pork pies are so yummy! Mushy peas are surely one of the most English you can get food wise. Pie and liquor lots in suffolk.
Could just eat some
I’ve never tried mushy peas, but I’ve had peas plenty and liked them, so I figure I would like mushy peas. The pork pie looks interesting, and once again, I like pie and I like pork, so why wouldn’t I like it? I’ve never had Yorkshire pudding, but like someone else here I have seen it, as well as the peas, in the UK section of Publix, and I’m tempted to try making them just to find out what they’re like.
Try them and let us know what you think ❤️
Ohh an endoscope, plenty of vlog opportunities there, especially with that extendible torch 😅
Will bring it next time we come 😂
I think the north/south pork pie divide is to do with heating them up. We have pork pies all the time, but cold with salad, or a ploughman’s etc, I live just outside London. I’ve Never ever had one hot though! 🤢🤣 ❤
Give it a go and see what you think
Although we now live in Scunthorpe, I was born in Middlesex then spent over 20 years in Kent, but have always had pork pies and mushy pies. Delicious. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Could just eat some 😊
could you strap the endoscope to something long and rigid to push it under the insulation?
👀👀
Lisa brought canapés and you supplied ' can o peas' . 🙃🙃 Sorry!
On another note , mushy peas , pork pie and mint sauce,😋😋😋
Lol. Good one
Love mushy peas. I come from Sheffield and never heard of eating a pork pie with mushy peas we have them with steak pies and pork pies on a salad or ploughman’s and mint sauce you mix with vinegar and a little sugar but each to their own. Xx
Give it a go and see what you think
We have pork pies but have never thought to heat them up will give it a try. Love mushy peas. Another great vlog looking forward to your next one you both brighten up my day xx
Let us know what you think to the warm pie
Im from the south (basically on the seafront at the bottom) i love pork pies although when we visit my inlaws in Lancs my husband buys Savoury Cakes from the chippy. Never seen them any where else and no one from my area has never heard of them x
We have fish cakes in the fish and chip shops here
My hubby had hot pork pie and mushy peas in Whitby he loved it! I feel your pain leaving the lodge, we own too and our site closes for 3 months! Roll on march 1st 😅
Yikes. 3 months is a long time
Never heard of pork pies warmed with mushy peas, not sure if I like the sound of that or not
Give it a go
I’m from Suffolk originally and never heard of “pie and peas”!
Get it tried and let us know what you think 😊
The US does have mushy peas but only in baby food form.
😱
Nicks coffee mug 🤭🤭🤭
😂
Love mushy peas with homemade fish cakes 😋 x
Yes!
We live in Portmouth and my husband loves mini pork pies (cold) and mushy peas. I will eat pork pies but think mushy peas are revolting. My Nan used to have friends who lived in a chalet on a holiday park for 10 months of the year on the Isle of Wight then had to move in with their daughter for two months.
Love mini pork pies too
Love pie and peas, not very often I have it but when I do it’s normally steak are chicken pies, it will be good to be near to your mum Nick for a month, also your coming to where I’m from Sheffield, hope Gail starts feeling a bit better soon, loved the girls faces when they opened the LOL presents ❤
You have a great Ikea there 😂😊❤️
Hi guys. What would happen if you didn't leave the lodge? Does someone come round and check that you've gone?
Yeah it's locked and they have security patrols
In the north west it’s a hot meat and potato pie with peas
That sounds good
Hi Guys,
As always a great vlog, Are you responsible for the structure of the lodge when you buy one? or do they come with a warranty? thank you in advance for any reply.
It came as is. We couldn't change anything in it. Yes it has a warranty
Love a good pork pie especially from the farm 😊
So good!
@@TheLodgeGuys blue hills farm the best or Morrisons deli counter 😋
When you were saying "pie and peas" I just assumed a "steak and ale pie" and peas.... not pork pie! I love pork pies.... I love mushy peas... but not sure about putting them together 🤔 although I am intrigued! From your curious member in Chichester!
Get it tried and let us know what you think 😊
im doing dry january to for the first time ever

Lol
Pretty sure mushy peas are marrowfat peas mushed 😂
I used to love marrow fat peas 😂
Mushy peas? Ewwwwww. I've seen more food on your blogs that I've never ever seen in my life. It's very interesting actually from the point of view of someone who lives in the States.
Mushy peas are lovely, 😂
Gud vlog… the pork pies you eat cold 😀
😋
Why do you have to leave for a month
Think I’m right in saying they won’t have to pay council tax if the park isn’t open 52 weeks a year.
Something like that yeah
4 mushy peas for 4 🙈🙈 better get the king of farts cup back out, no down south its pie & mash with liquor,, actually pie & mash & liquor is very nice ( lived in East end of London & married a londener)
Liquor? What kind of liquor?
I have a breville kettle like yours notice u use mugs do u I have to fill the mugs twice proper annoys me
The one at the lodge has a switch on it so you can do larger cups
Sorry but pies and peas are disgusting
Lol
