Total performs w/ Biggie live on stage in 1995
I like Big came in, did his part, and rolled out. Let the spotlight be on Total. That was classy. You know if Puff was there he woulda been dancing all around them the whole song lol.
Yep
Do you know the story behind puff doing that tho because if you pay attention he didn’t do it with total or 112 or mase’s solo records…he started doing it because big had no stage presence so they were trying to keep people from realizing big was just standing in one spot rapping
He's dancing 💃 to jail now.
@@pedrogates3189 no it's a lie big has a stage presence
@@24Roxyx no, he will evade capture.
S/O to bigge for leaving the stage and letting the sisters shine
Kima’s stomach was on flat flat 😍😍😍
Yes I love that
Still is to this day too 😍😍😍
This is one of their better live performances. Pam had that swag!
They do better in smaller rooms.
She bad 😍
Yes I love Pam's energy
Pam was always the smooth one with the dance moves
@@TroyRamseyyy LMFAO.....!!! Ya know, a more intimate setting!
I really can't understand for the life of me. Why musicianship has fallen apart? I really miss music like this. The 90's were last decade of great music, hands down!
+Jamie R No more sampling... 90's music was filled with old 60s-80s samples (which I loved) the original artists and estates have become greedy with the royalties on sample use, so most of these new artist don't use them anymore. As for the voices and songwriting... your guess is good as mine. lol
Artists shouldnt depend on sampling; they should be coming up with original music as the artists from older eras did. And artists today are very much so still sampling.
Early Hip Hop was built off sampling. And the songs today arent heavily sampled as they were in the 90's.
we don't have any rhythm no more, look how we moved back then look at our motion, we was in tuned with our selves back then, made for a lot of great things and moments, today's generation can't relate, maybe some but not a lot
Jamie R its just different is all i can say lol
- Finally a video without Diddy hogging the stage!
lol
lmaoo
What an extremely rare sighting. No glimpse of Diddy anywhere
Asha Fierce lol
alicia cadet lmao! Exactly
Always loved Pam’s voice. Very underrated!!!
YES! Unique as hell!
Clearly the star , she had the most personality & charisma . I love Total but Pam always stood out
That harmony they did after Kima's part is Each and Everything
sounds exactly like the radio meaning not much work was done to their voices unlike other artist
I love that too. That imperfection in their voices is more appealing than these lip syncers and auto tuning
Exactly! It sounded like the song itself with the vocals on point as best as they could given its live and not in a sound proof booth
Ha. And Ninjas always "clowned" my girls about their vocal talent...or lack thereof.
Can't you see" 👀 that thing falling out the shorts??
@@justsaying4887 yo wtf?! I see that shit!
Pam's voice is so unique I love it.
I’m so in love with Pam’s voice!!
Yes lord she can really sing
Yes, Big was respectful!
Dear Hip Hop. where have you've been? we miss you!
R and b too!
DJ Rod B
more like after 03 it did
Jimmy Two-Times I don't even know who Max B is and you telling me he's legend? to me 50 is a legend but Cams not, name me legendary songs from both of them cause 50 got a grp of them
Jimmy Two-Times okay.. but do you know what a legendary song or album is my man?? js its got to be to 5 or 10 to 20 all time like and that's a long list of mc's that been in the game ten plus with songs like Straight outta Compton or the Wu Cream, Nas - Nis is Like songs that stands the text of time
Diddy should've play this at the BET awards...playing biggie's part on the big screen, then had total come out....that would have been dope
DsNuttz651 I know - the only thing missing from that set.
+DsNuttz651 I have a feeling they didn't want to be there
man they should work on a biggie hologram i swear i will try to start a program with this and donate to it like
Can't you see" 👀 that thing falling out the shorts??
@@justsaying4887 umm no we can't... Cuz A we aren't looking for it and B they ain't gay... None of them
Well Atleast they sounded like their recordings.
Mannn! Times where real music existed! And where melodies were so natural... Definitely miss the 90's
Can't you see" 👀 that thing falling out the shorts??
@@justsaying4887 what?
@@jaozikao the idiot is trying 2 throw shade at Pam and say she looked like a man
Just Saying 🤣🤣
3 fine ass women and one of my favorite songs!!!
When keisha taps pam on shoulder and says "lets go" the way pam nods her head you can tell she's really feeling the music...i was 13 and madly in love with Keisha
RIP BIGGIE SMALLS IS THE ILLEST. yoooo kima can really sing. I miss total.
Pam is my favorite, she be getting it and she just so smooth with it
*Man I use to be in love with Pam she had that chocolate skin, unique voice, swag, smooth and had a cool little dance!*
Keisha is so pretty, aesthetically and attitude. Mr. Epps, lucky man.
Which one was Kesha
@@johnmanning4097 the thick one
Kima's voice is all up and through these records. She's lowkey the Total sound
She had the most vocally appealing sound, where Pam was more style oriented (commercially) & Keisha was sex appeal. As a trio they were well balanced vocally, Kima kept them afloat though.
when Keisha tapped Pam like Diddy did in the video lol
Lit moment!
She said "Let's go"
Kima might have the strongest live voice here. They’re all great. Love total
THATS PFLD NJ OWN !!!!
I just love that head bopping dance that they do lol. You can always recognize a 90s move when you see one. Good memories!
Can't you see" 👀 that thing falling out the shorts??
Nah thats just a sign of gd music
Facts
These girls are BADDDDDD!!! Natural beauty n can sing in studio n on stage im blown away!!! Gotta love these girls❤
they sounded terrible.
shayy skinner Total was the shit and they were beautiful.
NotyNoty Yeah they weren't great singers but they were dope.
Can't you see" 👀 that thing falling out the shorts??
@@notynoty7526 u smoking crack
No one else has ever had this swag. Dynamic energy.
I love Pam, she is my favourite. The energy and swag she brings to the stage is classic
Biggie the greatest ever man, this shit is so smooth
They could all SING. And Total always had fabulous attitude. They were a FUN group. I love their song with LL, too!
My college days. 90s was the best.
Yassss Kima!!! I love that rawness in her voice. Keisha is sexy and Pam is swag all day!
They sound incredible and almost exactly like the record whoever says otherwise is totally hating 🔥🔥✌️
So we’re applauding them for doing what they’re supposed to do? Lmao
They chemistry and vibe is crazy they all doin they own thing but they a group with it, shit go hard
I MISS THE NINETIES!!!
Some day heads will understand this is ONE of the Greatest songs ever created.
Lol I love how big nods his head when he raps
Pam is the best
they all sound good
Im not even mad at this...for Total, they sounded real solid, this was and still is my shit
biggie speechless. simply the best! 2016
yesss
yes yes yes
I love me some Kima, Keisha, & Pam.
They sound great especially the harmonizing at the end.
The Big Poppa! We Love You!
There's a distinct possibility that that damn Keisha could very well be the sexiest person ever born.
LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is UNREAL
No argument from me. She's a beauty.
I've just realised .......this is how Puffy thinks he's dancing
I swear Freda from Empire is a clone of Pam
Mr. Miscellaneous you are so correct
I said this when i first seen her on Empire she would be perfect for a Total Biopic
Can't you see" 👀 that thing falling out the shorts??
they’re on a song together 🔥 🔥 🔥
@@justsaying4887 Nobody saw anything except you. Now we all have questions about You.
Thanks to UA-cam I can always go back in time and relive great memories.
puffy really could hear Talent
I can't find many live performances from them including 'Kissing you" my fav,
Pam is clearly the best singer
I miss this. real music. real bodies
Kima sounds better here than on the record in my honest opinion! Total had the bops!
one of few rappers with the potency to sound just as powerful live as on a record. RIP💯
That first singer could be a Toni Braxton double hands down. The second singer can be Fantasia Double.the third one can be Michelle of Destiny Child double.. All three ladies are very talented and they singing live here with a background track.
Now that takes real talent and voice control
I loved me some Total!!!! Still do!! Wished they come back!!!!! Miss the old BET!!!
What's going on again? Well you know they are back together, well at least two of them are Pam and JaKima that is... It is odd seeing two of the women instead of three....
***** Hey!!! Yes i know! Keisha in LA doing the wifey thing with Omar Epps, Kima in MD doing her family thing, & Pam still in Jersey, recently married doing her thing.
***** That's right and we are on UA-cam doing our thing! LOL Happy 4th... Be blessed!
***** heyyy!!!
***** Wassup friend, how have you been?
Man his voice best rapper .his vocals lyrics his style rappers like notorious big dont come often he was taken to young I guess he didn't realize the haters that envy him. ..we miss big papa.
I Love You Notorious B.I.G.
The 90's man!
My favorite Biggie song ever for real. Hard hittin intro rap, Total's smooth vocals harmonized and James Brown classic sample. Biggie and Puffy never topped this colaboration in my opinion.
This joint was fire when it was out
I love total. They sounded so awesome
kima sounded the best.
Damn I miss those days... Music was so much better back then and Biggie Pac,Michael Jackson and Aaliyah were alive dropping hits.... Sigh....
Diddy the 🐐 for signing them and keeping its original members🤩🔥🔥🔥💯
I love that they ALL sang lead!
Best live performance I've seen from them!!! They DEFINITELY put it down right here!!!
Total...they needed no introduction...✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿💯
IMO Total were the best female R&B group. Love the soulful voices merge together.
Song still gives me chills
Back when music was good
love pam voice
Vocals and swag. My favorite.
P A M E L A L O NG 😎
I member always thinkin Kima (the one wit the long hair) and Vita from Murder Inc was the same person when I was younger lmfaoo then I found out they was sisters...I freakin miss Total and that 90's early 2000 R&B
the older i get i really miss him i was too young to know how nice he was as a rapper wouldve love to see him grow
One Of Big’s best features!!!!
I know alot of jokers told me my girls couldn't sing live but obviously right here they proved that opinion to be a little wrong. But what I can say I'm not sure if they can handle singing in front of big crowds and just the hustle and ware of tare of touring. Like this performance is way better than their joint they performed at the Apollo back in 95'
Omg they sound so good😩 and look good! Rip Big🥺
Kima sounds better live than she does on the record.
Classic, Soulful HIP HOP and Hood too LOVE IT. That Drop!
Back in the '90s I was rockin' that short hair too!! Those were the days, Lord. SMH.
Total can sing in real life not jus in the studio not everyone can do that 🔥🔥
Keisha remind me of Monica, her swag, her mannerisms, they could be sisters and vocally she reminds me of T-Boz. I like Pam too her voice is very distinctive.
Video soul was a whole vibe
The old skool never dies. keeps getting brighter and the future gets more shadowy. #namaste
This is what talent looks like, on his part and theirs. I didn't pay much attention to Biggie or Rap back then, but I fully appreciate him and figures like Tupac now.
Love TOTAL: Keisha, Kim & Pam!
We still here. legendary and iconic.😎
Man idc if it's 2020 it's still a good song 🤷♂️
Damn... I love this song, even after this long. it still brings back memories
I remember when my mom used to rock those hairstyle when I was litle damn the good old times😭❤.
They sound sooo good. They really were everything. Whole group full of swag.
Listen to how Big just flows this shit out:
"my rap lines, are like land mines/ one step KABOOM/ black suits fill the room".
This was such s great time period! I was on an acting tour when this came out. I used to play this and Brownstone’s “If You Love Me” over and over on this tour. I’m loving the comments too, nice outfits, hair is civilized, and makeup isn’t kibuki looking!
We will hear this song every weekend for the rest of our lives.
This was from VideoSoul on BET way back in the1995! I saw this episode when I was in H.S. This was my jam over "Juicy" but I was a huge fan of the whole Uptown/ BadBoy era in music!
Damn I remember when they debuted this 💎
Pamela Long was Everything in this group.
If u don't hit the P bounce ur childhood sucked lol
Luv This performance. They do better with smaller crowds.
Pam reminds me of Fantasia 😍
