I really can't understand for the life of me. Why musicianship has fallen apart? I really miss music like this. The 90's were last decade of great music, hands down!
+Jamie R No more sampling... 90's music was filled with old 60s-80s samples (which I loved) the original artists and estates have become greedy with the royalties on sample use, so most of these new artist don't use them anymore. As for the voices and songwriting... your guess is good as mine. lol
Artists shouldnt depend on sampling; they should be coming up with original music as the artists from older eras did. And artists today are very much so still sampling.
we don't have any rhythm no more, look how we moved back then look at our motion, we was in tuned with our selves back then, made for a lot of great things and moments, today's generation can't relate, maybe some but not a lot
Jimmy Two-Times I don't even know who Max B is and you telling me he's legend? to me 50 is a legend but Cams not, name me legendary songs from both of them cause 50 got a grp of them
Jimmy Two-Times okay.. but do you know what a legendary song or album is my man?? js its got to be to 5 or 10 to 20 all time like and that's a long list of mc's that been in the game ten plus with songs like Straight outta Compton or the Wu Cream, Nas - Nis is Like songs that stands the text of time
When keisha taps pam on shoulder and says "lets go" the way pam nods her head you can tell she's really feeling the music...i was 13 and madly in love with Keisha
I like Big came in, did his part, and rolled out. Let the spotlight be on Total. That was classy. You know if Puff was there he woulda been dancing all around them the whole song lol.
Do you know the story behind puff doing that tho because if you pay attention he didn’t do it with total or 112 or mase’s solo records…he started doing it because big had no stage presence so they were trying to keep people from realizing big was just standing in one spot rapping
She had the most vocally appealing sound, where Pam was more style oriented (commercially) & Keisha was sex appeal. As a trio they were well balanced vocally, Kima kept them afloat though.
What's going on again? Well you know they are back together, well at least two of them are Pam and JaKima that is... It is odd seeing two of the women instead of three....
***** Hey!!! Yes i know! Keisha in LA doing the wifey thing with Omar Epps, Kima in MD doing her family thing, & Pam still in Jersey, recently married doing her thing.
Man his voice best rapper .his vocals lyrics his style rappers like notorious big dont come often he was taken to young I guess he didn't realize the haters that envy him. ..we miss big papa.
My favorite Biggie song ever for real. Hard hittin intro rap, Total's smooth vocals harmonized and James Brown classic sample. Biggie and Puffy never topped this colaboration in my opinion.
This was such s great time period! I was on an acting tour when this came out. I used to play this and Brownstone’s “If You Love Me” over and over on this tour. I’m loving the comments too, nice outfits, hair is civilized, and makeup isn’t kibuki looking!
That first singer could be a Toni Braxton double hands down. The second singer can be Fantasia Double.the third one can be Michelle of Destiny Child double.. All three ladies are very talented and they singing live here with a background track. Now that takes real talent and voice control
This is what talent looks like, on his part and theirs. I didn't pay much attention to Biggie or Rap back then, but I fully appreciate him and figures like Tupac now.
This was from VideoSoul on BET way back in the1995! I saw this episode when I was in H.S. This was my jam over "Juicy" but I was a huge fan of the whole Uptown/ BadBoy era in music!
I know alot of jokers told me my girls couldn't sing live but obviously right here they proved that opinion to be a little wrong. But what I can say I'm not sure if they can handle singing in front of big crowds and just the hustle and ware of tare of touring. Like this performance is way better than their joint they performed at the Apollo back in 95'
Wish i could have been there. This is my childhood❤❤ i was 8 years old when biggie was killed. My mom played his albums through out my child hood. .... 2022 still my fav song. Luv u biggie contuine to rest in heaven😪😢🕊🕊🕊
WOW .. I FORGOT HOW GREAT THEY SOUND .FIERCE... AND THAT PAM STANDS OUT I REMEMBER THAT WAY BACK YOUR EYES ALWAYS WENT TO PAM . TALENTED LADIES .. LOOK AT BIGGIE I SURE MISS THOSE DAYS SO MUCH TALENT BLESSINGS ALL 🙏🏾❤🙏🏾c
Damn man my girls head bop was no joke. And man Keisha is fine and Pam was cute too with her pretty girl tomboy style -- very sexy. But Keisha will always have my heart, from when the first time I saw her.

Early Hip Hop was built off sampling. And the songs today arent heavily sampled as they were in the 90's.

Jamie R its just different is all i can say lol
This is one of their better live performances. Pam had that swag!
They do better in smaller rooms.
She bad 😍
Yes I love Pam's energy
Pam was always the smooth one with the dance moves
@@TroyRamseyyy LMFAO.....!!! Ya know, a more intimate setting!
Always loved Pam’s voice. Very underrated!!!
YES! Unique as hell!
Clearly the star , she had the most personality & charisma . I love Total but Pam always stood out
She lived by me in Edison NJ and her voice was definitely in a class of its own
That harmony they did after Kima's part is Each and Everything
Dear Hip Hop. where have you've been? we miss you!
R and b too!
DJ Rod B
more like after 03 it did

- Finally a video without Diddy hogging the stage!
lol
lmaoo
What an extremely rare sighting. No glimpse of Diddy anywhere
Asha Fierce lol
alicia cadet lmao! Exactly
Kima’s stomach was on flat flat 😍😍😍
Yes I love that
Still is to this day too 😍😍😍
Pam's voice is so unique I love it.
I’m so in love with Pam’s voice!!
Yes lord she can really sing
Yes, Big was respectful!
Pure gold voice
Pam is my favorite, she be getting it and she just so smooth with it
I love Pam, she is my favourite. The energy and swag she brings to the stage is classic
When keisha taps pam on shoulder and says "lets go" the way pam nods her head you can tell she's really feeling the music...i was 13 and madly in love with Keisha
Keisha is so pretty, aesthetically and attitude. Mr. Epps, lucky man.
Which one was Kesha
@@johnmanning4097 the thick one
These girls are BADDDDDD!!! Natural beauty n can sing in studio n on stage im blown away!!! Gotta love these girls❤
they sounded terrible.
shayy skinner Total was the shit and they were beautiful.
NotyNoty Yeah they weren't great singers but they were dope.

Kima's voice is all up and through these records. She's lowkey the Total sound

Well Atleast they sounded like their recordings.
Mannn! Times where real music existed! And where melodies were so natural... Definitely miss the 90's

Just Saying 🤣🤣
Kima might have the strongest live voice here. They’re all great. Love total

I just love that head bopping dance that they do lol. You can always recognize a 90s move when you see one. Good memories!
Can't you see" 👀 that thing falling out the shorts??
Nah thats just a sign of gd music
Facts
Diddy should've play this at the BET awards...playing biggie's part on the big screen, then had total come out....that would have been dope
DsNuttz651 I know - the only thing missing from that set.
+DsNuttz651 I have a feeling they didn't want to be there
man they should work on a biggie hologram i swear i will try to start a program with this and donate to it like

@@justsaying4887 umm no we can't... Cuz A we aren't looking for it and B they ain't gay... None of them
They sound incredible and almost exactly like the record whoever says otherwise is totally hating 🔥🔥✌️
So we’re applauding them for doing what they’re supposed to do? Lmao
No one else has ever had this swag. Dynamic energy.
*Man I use to be in love with Pam she had that chocolate skin, unique voice, swag, smooth and had a cool little dance!*
Im not even mad at this...for Total, they sounded real solid, this was and still is my shit
Thanks to UA-cam I can always go back in time and relive great memories.
They chemistry and vibe is crazy they all doin they own thing but they a group with it, shit go hard
sounds exactly like the radio meaning not much work was done to their voices unlike other artist
I love that too. That imperfection in their voices is more appealing than these lip syncers and auto tuning
Exactly! It sounded like the song itself with the vocals on point as best as they could given its live and not in a sound proof booth
Ha. And Ninjas always "clowned" my girls about their vocal talent...or lack thereof.

3 fine ass women and one of my favorite songs!!!
My college days. 90s was the best.
They were tearing down that bop dance!
when Keisha tapped Pam like Diddy did in the video lol
Lit moment!
