I remember this moment so fondly that I intentionally searched "Monster Man Harmontown" 4 years later. I laughed so hard at work when I heard this that I was crying because I had to stifle my laughter.
omg how could you use this as the preview? I was listening to this at work and literally fell to my knees, crying with laughter, and it only gets funnier the more they explain why it's so funny. I may be over hyping it, but it was one of the funniest, most nonsensical things I had ever heard
the other day i was on a bus with this episode on the headphones and when it was demorge turn i instantly remember and started laughing and couldnt stop like for 10 minutes, what a memorable moment
Started rewatching the podcast and the first time Jeff plays this beat was a few weeks before this, and the second I heard it I was like “oh that’s monster man!”
That was awesome. It reminds me of Mack The Knife or something by Danny Elfman. I really want to hear a full version. In the meantime, I think i'll make my own lyrics. Does anybody know the name of music they used?
That sounds like it would be the opening theme to the next animated series by dan "Monster Man" where a Monster Man has to deal with the average woes of life in LA
Second half- i like to go the barrr and smoke a cigarr I'm a classy mann, i hate to go in the stalllls cuz it smellz like my balllz I'm a ! f*** thats fun
Kendall Karcher Yes, it was improvised. At this point in the show they were singing random nonsense songs, and then “Weird Al-ing” them, AKA singing the nonsense songs again but making them be about food. So far Dan had sung the first nonsense song, which Jeff made into a Weird Al style parody. Dan’s song had been so simple and stuttery, that when Demorge came out with this song that sounded so confident and practiced, but had such bizarre lyrics, it was a hilarious juxtaposition.
Here in 2021, and Monster Man is still pants-pissingly hilarious.
Here in 2023, and it’s just as good today.
The year is 2024. Monster Man is still pants-pissingly hilarious.
Here in damn near 2023 Thank goodness this man has been found!
Not many Harmontown moments have made me laugh as much as this one. DeMorge Brown is so awesome.
I laughed so hard I cried when I watched this the first time.
Me too for sure, I was life guarding at the time... People could have died!
Dan's little nod when he says "I'm a monster man" fucking cracks me up. Like he's so approving. lmao
I keep coming back to this. God I miss Harmontown.
DeMorge is a national treasure.
*International treasure. Global even.
No arguments here. I'd kill to have that man at my table.
I never get tired of watching this.

This is the beauty of improv. Even Demorge didn't know what was about to come out of his mouth.

This is my favorite harmontown moment
been singing this song all day. He should make it into a complete song

I was at work and we aren't supposed to have headphones but I have a discreet wireless earbud under my hat and couldn't restrain myself lmao

@@addamsixx7915 It's so well timed,
Came back one year later still crying laughing
Wow I'm here a lot
..and By The Way, The guy who did the music in this deserves a LOT of credit!
That was amazing. I love that episode!!!
I want this as my personal jingle
This is dope...DeMorge is brilliant.

Never inside....in THIS weather? Ouch
@@CharlieBrown20XD6 he’s homeless 😢 lol
very much precious
what's that sweet tune? did the author make more songs that can be improv utilized
this is incredible.
Now I have to wonder if there’s a comma in there. “I’m a monster, man!” Although monster man is much funnier.
This is deffinitely an intro song for a comedy sitcom about a warewolf in the style of adams family or munsters 🤣
Where can we see more Demorge Brown?
DRESS UP GANG
Second half- i like to go the barrr and smoke a cigarr I'm a classy mann, i hate to go in the stalllls cuz it smellz like my balllz I'm a ! f*** thats fun
HE SAID IM AMONGST THE MAN
Am I missing something? I don't understand why this is funny. Did he improv the lyrics? Very confused...

Blake Peters I teach writing to high school students, and I just want to comment that you have given a terrific summary of a very odd situation.
Yes. He did.
