15:10 the anime didn't really explain it but that was his divergent fist. He hit mahito's shoulder a while back and the impact was detonated by yuji as mahito was gonna attack him. Its sort of like sticky charge.

It’s called divergent fist it’s not really a black flash it was created cause his cursed energy couldn’t keep up with his punches so the cursed energy would hit it later. But now he can control when the delayed hit happens at any time like u said.
