I had actually just watched the original 1981 trailer before watching this, it's crazy how different it is. It makes it seem like a whole different movie somehow.
Nice tribute and good job in putting this trailer together! I like the way you've used different scenes/moments of the movie that were not originally connected but that look actually great as a combination for the purpose of an entertaining trailer.
Beautifully made. 😱 I had to watch this a good many times until I caught on to all the subtle, powerful editing choices. Brilliant trailer, thank you for this!
What kills me is that I saw this and went "What do the mean, 'modern'?", and as I was watching it and after the first few seconds I could tell where each beat was and I KNEW.....and it makes me a little sad that I hadn't been paying attention to how formulaic companies have become with their trailers. FWIW.
Interesting comment, and probably a fair critique of my video as well. With my trailer edits I do tend to go for the obvious. Your mileage may vary whether that's fun to watch.

And removing that quick few frames wouldn't detract from the overall beauty of this piece. Otherwise, this sells the plot and experience of the film better than the original trailer, IMO.
