The longer, in depth review is really appreciated. The EDP, white and dark fougere, has both freshness and a some dark intensity, with great longevity and projection, suitable for someone going outside or in bigger indoor spaces and grabbing attention. On the other hand, it's not best suited to more subtle, smaller space, nuanced situations, such as an intimate dinner or conversation. It's rude to overpower other dinners with a beast-mode fragrance. So, if the Le Parfum can reference the DNA of the EDP and make it work in those other situations, it will be a real winner for me. For my own personal enjoyment of a fragrance, projection is better being closer and not overpowering other aromas around me. And excited teenagers are rocking the EDP, just saying. Hope the Le Parfum balances the masculine, sweet, playful yumminess of the EDP with unique fractioned cedar and lavender and patchouli.

Your review, among all reviewers, best matches my feelings about this scent. First, a few words about mixed feelings about YSL. I respect the history of the house, but the number of YSL flankers on the market, now running since 2006, is annoying. I don't mind that trend with the Dior Homme line because each of those releases is distinctive and each makes sense. I have smelled most of the YSL L'Homme line and the Y line, and although I like some more than others (L'Homme Ultime comes to mind), I never felt compelled to own any. Y Le Parfum has made me reconsider. Now planning to order sizeable decants of at least one, maybe two of these fragrances. I like Y EDP but am leaning towards Y Le Parfum and the discontinued L'Homme Ultime. I might also consider L'Homme Parfum, which seems to have received a lukewarm reception...Waiting to try LNDL Bleu Electrique with high hopes.
YSL L'Homme was my main workhorse for college and I still wear it a lot over the summer. I love the scent when my body heat turns up. Simply fantastic. I am buying Y Le Parfum tomorrow, and I recently got L'Homme Ultime and LNDL Bleu Électrique. I am torn with L'Homme Ultime because it smells a bit too strong & mature, at least for me (a 25 year old blond guy). I will consider wearing it when I get closer to my thirties. LNDL Bleu Électrique is a different story, however. Everything you read or hear about it being a more modern, fresh and energised version LNDL is true. It's a killer, and my wife LOVES it.

My one complaint with blues is a lot go from fresh to warm. I want a fresh fragrance to stay fresh and that's why I like the EDP. There is a difference between fresh and syrupy, if you don't hammer on these "young" scents they aren't as cloying.
While I do appreciate the EDP, I am my 30's and appreciate a frag that stays more consistent for longer. I love the opening of the EDP, but it doesn't last for me. Le parfum for night , eau de parfum day use .
Thanks! I just grabbed Le Parfum. I'll try it at a gathering tonight.
My local Macy's just got it in. Retail $150 now like Sauvage. Yikes 😳
Yeah, I bought it😬😬 but I have to say it smells great, but if you want something pretty similar is Lamborghini Millennials Dinamico the color is like a blue-green bottle and it smells awesome I have it to, and it will only cost you about $20-$30
How does Sheikh Shuyukh Final Edition (Lattafa) compare to YSL Y “Le Parfum”?
I find YSL EDP to be a little 1 dimensional. Bought it blind, not super disappointed but probably wouldn’t have bought it if I compared to a wide variety of scents.
Which is the sweetest version of y perfumes ??
Any chance you can do a review of 24 Rue De l'Université by Yves Saint Laurent ? or even just a video of best sandalwood fragrances?
More of an evening date night version via La Nuit Le L'homme vs L'homme. Im digging this one:)
The EDP is definitely better. Especially to women but to me too.
Great video ash I'm waiting for this .Review of new Club De Nuit Intense Parfum
I just got that in the edt version and it is really close to aventus only thing I don’t like is the opening is really strong on the lemon but the dry down and longevity is nice...only paid 25 so can’t complain 🤷🏽♂️
@@dabaddestdj2010 so still a beast on performance and where do you got it from?
Is this original or fake? Because the serial number does not have barcode just “mail” logo. Referring to fakecip video this is not original? Im confuse right now
Maybe he receives it free from ysl to review
Your new studio is very nice
Are they both kind smell the same bc I went to my local mall but instead got the edp one aince it’s smells smoother
Love the background, but where is the villian chair???
I just ordered one of your fragrances! By The Yuzu Grove. Can't wait!
Which one has better projection?
They should do ysl y Le Parfum with Iris. As an additional flanker to this.
This guy is honest.
That’s why I always believe him
i hear that edp somehow has better projection and longevity than Le parfum, is that true?
I ordered this online from Dillards today so it is available in the US
Y EDP isint for me. I’m gonna sell that bottle. I do wanna try the Le Parfum though.
If you want a less sweet, more refined version. It’s LE Parfum. The mid-dry down is magical.
@@GodsServant543 which one gets more attention
@@7860092 Honestly, it’s going to be the EDP because it projects better and the DNA is more mass appealing. Both smell great. If I had to pick one, I’d pick the the EDP. But.... I was about to buy a backup bottle of the EDP, but I decided to buy the LE Parfum. It’s close enough, and different enough to own both. Hope that helps.
In comparison the EDP is fresher, sweeter, smells younger and definitely more appealing.
Was super disappointed with the le Parfum - so stingy and artificial, really not pleasent at all.
le parfum reminds me a bit of azzaro pour homme night time
i love the "Y" edt, i didnt/dont like the edp at all, so i am hoping the le parfum brings something different that i would like...
y edp smells like invictus but 35 dollars more expensive
It's on the YSL website already. Heading home now. My bottle is waiting at my doorstep. Can't wait to try it.
How is it?
I just picked up a bottle of Y Le Parfum and to me, it kinda smells like Bad Boy Le Parfum
Great review and I enjoyed it and i have a sample of it and I'm going to try it out but I like the edp and I give it a 9 out of 10 and have a blessed day
First time here, this guy can act!😂 Great vid, nice plot twist😂
I'd rather still use Y EDP, it hits the sweet spot just right. Enough performance and versatile enough to be used at all times.
Definitely don’t disagree, super versatile
EDP is better for sure.
Got a sample of the Le Parfum recently.... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 amazing stuff
I make my wife smell my arm everyday. I’m sure she gets annoyed but I like her opinion too!
2 questions for anybody that can answer .. ( I’m a rookie )
1. ... is it the iris in Dior homme that gives it the lip stick scent ? If so what other colognes have that dominate scent ??
2 . ... if there is such a thing .. what’s a beast mode summer fragrance ??
Yeah it gives of a lipstick smell, try prada lhomme not absolutely dominate but it’s definitely worth every penny and D&G Light blue intense is a beast mode summer fragrance imo
1 other: valentino uomo intense (dark leather also)
2 mancera brand
YSL Le Parfum or EDP or Aqua Di Gio Profondo?
This fragrance is so "blue" it will change the lights in the room.
Another great vid. 🙏🙏 Waiting for my Parfum bottle to come in.
Dig the lights Ash, great idea. Great review as always, can’t wait to get my nose on Le Parfum.
No, you live in colder area my friend, the new one is losing its class and uniqnes, it is heavier and is loosing the meaning of summer fragrances. This new one is just the wrong concentration for summer
how long i have been waiting for this review
That new lighting is ace!
C'mon bro .... Le Parfum is Versace Eros on the dry down lol ... it's a penny from a dollar away from being Versace Eros
It’s similar but not that similar
@@BrianRios26 similar but not similar = 0 + 0 = 0 ... Lol 😉. Too close to spend an extra 50 dollars to be honest. The opening of Le Parfum is the bomb, but the dry down or heart is simply Eros
Just picked this one up. I’m with you the love both but the le parfum a little beat.
Great video Ash! I'll have to check it out! Glad I'm not the only one who tortures their wife with smelling frags...Just hope they don't return the favor with summers eve spray lol...
