Just when I think choices are getting more refined, I see a video like this! Casper comes up with another solid choice. Would definitely consider! Thanks!
A couple months ago I tested this for my new bed and i love the mattress, it is soft, decently priced, and it doesn’t get to warm. I can’t wait tell it gets delivered with my bed
As a side sleeper this is a great fit, love that Casper has addressed the dreaded heat due to memory foam with slotted mattress. This would be a fantastic sweepstakes win. Thanks sleepopolis for the opportunity.
I love the firmness level being I tend to wake up on my stomach at times! I also love that the top foam layer is perforated for air flow, due to my hot flashes! Thanks for the great review!
I love the cooling features of this mattress and the zoned support, as a side and back sleeper, I think this one would be ideal! Thanks for this updated, thorough review.
We have a Nova Hybrid and we LOVE it. Very impressed with Casper. Would love to try the Wave Hybrid. The original Casper might be too firm for me, but Casper is a great company.
As a stomach-side combo sleeper, the Casper mattress seems like a good option for me. I like that their airscape foam helps it sleep cool, too. And the zoned support sounds really impressive. All in all, I think this would be a great mattress for me.
This new updated version Casper may work for us since it is firmer and my husband is a stomach sleeper. After reviewing all the Casper mattresses, I think Casper Original is my pick. Thank you for the update and the comparison!
Sounds like a great mattress to me. I like the firmness you describe as I am 80% a back sleeper, the other 20% side or stomach. Watching you roll on it, I do like that it supports you well. No sinking.
This version of the Casper is a little too firm for me. As a side sleeper I need a softer bed. When you compared it with the Nectar, the Nectar sounds better for me, but then you brought up the Casper Wave, and that seems like a great bed also. Good to know there is more than one way for me to get a great sleep!
I always thought the Casper was a good mattress but i don’t know about it now being a 7 firmness. I’m a strict side sleeper so i think i would go with the Nova Hybrid. One of the biggest things that got me into Casper beds is the zoned support that all their beds offer
Very nice informative review. Is it possible for you to do reviews about the longevity of the mattresses? I would really like to know what they are like after a year or two (or even 6 months) of continual use.
I have been looking for a right mattress to address my lower back pain and capser seems an ideal fit based on my back sleeping nature. Although i’m a student and cannot afford one as it is out of my budget range, I’d be more than happy to have it somehow! Thank you, sleepopolis for the reviews and suggestions on bedding stuff
Thank you very much for your detailed reviews on these mattresses. I was thinking about getting the original Casper mattress because of the price but after hearing what it does and does not do maybe I need to go to a different model. The thing that gets me is the price. I am truly in desperate need of a mattress right now because my mattress is way over due for replacement.
I roll all over the bed and don't like when I sink and have to push myself up to move around. The Casper sounds perfect for someone like me. Thanks for the chance to win one.
Thank you! Just bought it at Costco because I’ve heard such good things and I didn’t feel like getting a Sealy or whatever it’s called since I’ve been on one before and it’s wasn’t comfy. Anyway, again, thank you!
How do these wear over time? We got a tempurpedic that was great for the first year but now it's too soft. And what pillows do you recommend for combo sleepers on an all-foam mattress?
I have the original Casper mattress from 2019 in a twin and won’t to find a similar mattress for my adjustable bed so we need 2 XL Twins. I have tried the nova and the wave as well as the new version of the original. Both the hybrids caused hip pain as I do sleep on my side. I assumed it was the hybrid coils that may cause that, so we tried the original but it’s not as soft. I am considering the Nectar premier. Wanted to get your recommendation.
the newer Casper mattress might be a little to firm for me since I am mostly a side sleeper but its perfect for my love especially since his box spring broke
I think this Casper would be great for me - I'm a back sleeper. Not sure about for my side/back sleeper husband, but it might work. Although the care for the shoulder pain would definitely help us both!
My wife is 125 lb side sleeper and I am a 165 lb stomach sleeper. She needs soft, I need firm. Difficult to find something that meets in the middle as all of your reviews favor one over the other. Any mattress recommendations that suit both our needs moderately? Would Casper? I have a Purple and its great for her, but is hurting my neck first couple weeks of sleep (when prior mattress didn't). Help!
I like Casper mattress is built w/ 3 layers of foam, including a top layer of breathable aerated foam, a middle section of zoned support & a sturdy bottom layer of high-density poly foam.
Thank you for Another Great Review filled with tons of useful information. In all honesty im still not sure if I would sleep better on that mattress or not unfortunately I've never had the luxury I guess of getting to be so picky or ever having a Brand New mattress/bed I've learned to get comfortable on whatever is available I guess plus I'm 6'5 so I don't think I've ever had a bed that my feet didn't hang off of Lol . Happy Holidays and Good Luck to Everyone and again thank you for another Great Review.
I’m looking for a mattress that is firm enough for back sleeping but plush enough for me to sink in while I’m back sleeping and side sleeping. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much for your great reviews. I’m going a little crazy trying to figure out what bed to get. I’m 5’ 1” and 116 lbs and waking up in agony from my Serta perfect sleeper innerspring which is 2 years old. I also sleep really hot. I tried the nova hybrid and all my pain went away, however I woke up every 2 hours through the night for 2 weeks and was a train wreck so had to return it. I don’t think it was hot. I’m wondering if maybe it was a bit bouncy and I’d wake every time I turned. Tried the Tuft and Needle original as that’s all they sell in Canada. It was way to firm. I’m wondering about trying the Casper Original from Costco because I loved it so much. Would appreciate any recommendations🙏.
I just bought the 2020 casper original foam and its too firm for us. Will getting the 2019 version be softer? Or would I be wasting my time and effort? We are dominatly side sleepers with some back sleeping.
I'm a combo sleeper but more on the side so this might not be the best choice, but still one to consider. How does swapping out the base for springs change the feel?
I like the idea of the hybrid version since I'm not sure on relying on foam alone. We're not stomach sleepers so I think this mattress would work good for us.
I am a stomach and side sleeper, but I'm under 100 lbs, is this bed too firm? Maybe the Hybrid would be better? Is there a better option you can recommend?
Casper mattresses seem well made. I had a Casper Element which I returned because it was too firm. It was a beautiful mattress though. The original Casper also seems very firm. The hybrid versions seem more up my alley since they are on the softer side.
I appreciate a mattress that has cooling layers, but I definitely am looking for a mattress for a combo side/back sleeper - mainly side, and I'm not sure this is the mattress I'm looking for.
Wow that’s exactly the type of bed I’ve been looking for, I need that extra support. I don’t want to sink in a softer mattress. What it would be like actually having a full night sleep

I love mine
You can tell these are well made, I like how you compared this to other popular mattresses, Thanks Logan! 😴💤🛏
This is VERY helpful! Went ahead and ordered the mattress after seeing this review, as it answered/covered my questions.
I think this mattress would be a good fit. Maybe I missed, but does it have any cooling properties?
I love the firmness level being I tend to wake up on my stomach at times! I also love that the top foam layer is perforated for air flow, due to my hot flashes! Thanks for the great review!
An actual honest review that shared critical points, bravo. Unlike others which are just spamming uncritical videos with maximum referral links
As a strict side sleeper this may be too firm for me I think the Wave model would be a better fit
Watching these again because Casper is on my short list to buy soon!
I've heard a lot of recommendations on casper and judging by the firmness, this looks great for me.
I love the cooling features of this mattress and the zoned support, as a side and back sleeper, I think this one would be ideal! Thanks for this updated, thorough review.
I love the fact this has cooling layers! Perfect for me!
We have a Nova Hybrid and we LOVE it. Very impressed with Casper. Would love to try the Wave Hybrid. The original Casper might be too firm for me, but Casper is a great company.
This would be a greatly needed win.
sounds better to me! My son would sleep well on this. Thank you for your excellent thorough reviews
As a stomach-side combo sleeper, the Casper mattress seems like a good option for me. I like that their airscape foam helps it sleep cool, too. And the zoned support sounds really impressive. All in all, I think this would be a great mattress for me.
This sounds so comfortable! I love that it’s a firm foam mattress. It is now on my wish list. Thank you
Casper sounds great. I am a side/back sleeper. I am a warm sleeper so I like it helps with that.
No sinking.
Your reviews help me choose a great mattress! Thanks
I like the firmness! This sounds like it would be a wonderful sleep.
I like how little motion transfer there is with this mattress! Thanks for the thorough review
I always thought the Casper was a good mattress but i don’t know about it now being a 7 firmness. I’m a strict side sleeper so i think i would go with the Nova Hybrid. One of the biggest things that got me into Casper beds is the zoned support that all their beds offer
just got my casper original. Wow it is soft!!!!! Love it. Don't know what this guy in the video is talking about. This bed is not medium hard :'-D
i like that it is a little firmer and i like the knit cover the 100 night trial is awesome and good to know that you should rotate it every 6 months.
On a scale of firmness what are your recommendation for a scale of 9 or 10 ? Thank you I advance.
Love that it sleeps cool! Seems like a great mattress to try!
Sounds like a pretty good mattress. I sure wouldn’t mind one. Great review guys!
I love all these mattresses... It looks amazing!
The casper looks so soft and comfy! I like how you show the cross section of mattresses in your videos
I really like the firmness of the mattress. Nice to know that it is helpful for back pain.
Very nice informative review. Is it possible for you to do reviews about the longevity of the mattresses? I would really like to know what they are like after a year or two (or even 6 months) of continual use.

What’s the difference between Casper Original and Casper Select by Costco?
I need something that's going to give me good back support, thanks for the reviews
The cooling layers sound nice. You sleep better when it’s cooler. And the nice support for someone like me who usually sleeps on my back.
As someone with back problems the zoned support thing sounds amazing.
I do like that they have up their game with the CASPER NOVA. They have a mattress for everyone. GREAT and RELIABLE BRAND.
Casper seems a good fit for side sleeper. Thank you for a great review.
Is this firmer and cooler than the tuft and needle?
I weigh 340 pounds, side sleeper with shoulder pain, what budget mattress would you recommend? I have the alswell right now and I hate it.
Always enjoy your reviews, there are so many to choose from. At least most have trial periods in case I don't get one I like.

the newer Casper mattress might be a little to firm for me since I am mostly a side sleeper but its perfect for my love especially since his box spring broke
What is the difference between the current original hybrid and the previous version?
I like the zoned support since I sleep in every possible position. Of course a new mattress might reduce my tossing and turning!
I think this Casper would be great for me - I'm a back sleeper. Not sure about for my side/back sleeper husband, but it might work. Although the care for the shoulder pain would definitely help us both!
I love the new cover design!
Thanks Logan! As a side sleeper, I’m not sure the Casper would be my style- I’m leaning more towards the Purple.
How long for the smell of the Casper mattress to dissipate. I’ve had mine for a few days and it stills smells like paint.
I love the product choices of Casper Mattresses!
The Casper brand has a great reputation. This one may be a better option for those needing a firmer mattress
I like Casper mattress is built w/ 3 layers of foam, including a top layer of breathable aerated foam, a middle section of zoned support & a sturdy bottom layer of high-density poly foam.
I’m a back and stomach sleeper and I’m looking for a bed that sinks a little, what brand of mattress is best for me?
Thank you for Another Great Review filled with tons of useful information.
In all honesty im still not sure if I would sleep better on that mattress or not unfortunately I've never had the luxury I guess of getting to be so picky or ever having a Brand New mattress/bed I've learned to get comfortable on whatever is available I guess plus I'm 6'5 so I don't think I've ever had a bed that my feet didn't hang off of Lol . I feel that this mattress would be fantastic for my father because he's a back sleeper and really needs a new mattress, he would love the firmness.
I'm side/back sleeper and I hate waking up from my shoulder aching when I lay on my side! This would be perfect for me!
The Casper Wave is my favorite! I love the Casper brand.
I’m looking for a mattress that is firm enough for back sleeping but plush enough for me to sink in while I’m back sleeping and side sleeping. Any suggestions?
The all foam casper looks like a great fit for back or stomach sleepers, with good support and a higher firmness!
Can you use it with a position’s upper/lower mechanism? Thks x your honest review.
like an adjustable bed? Sure!
This one would be great for me as a side sleeper who deals with a lot of shoulder pain.
The Casper line is probably one of the best known brands. It's a great selection of mattresses. I prefer a hybrid combo.
Thanks so much for your great reviews. I’m going a little crazy trying to figure out what bed to get. I’m 5’ 1” and 116 lbs and waking up in agony from my Serta perfect sleeper innerspring which is 2 years old. I also sleep really hot. If you've slept on a Casper before and loved it I think it's definitely worth returning to
Thanks so much! You guys are awesome. Ordered the Casper Hybrid. Fingers crossed.
Awesome review. Thanks!
I just bought the 2020 casper original foam and its too firm for us. Will getting the 2019 version be softer? Or would I be wasting my time and effort? We are dominatly side sleepers with some back sleeping.
Not much softer IMO, you may want to try the Casper Nova Hybrid - ua-cam.com/video/AvOxAVcwao4/v-deo.html
I am a side sleeper so the Casper is for me. Logan's review states that this mattress is rated the best for side sleepers. Yeah!
I'm a combo sleeper but more on the side so this might not be the best choice, but still one to consider. How does swapping out the base for springs change the feel?
The hybrid has a bit more bounce and mobility than the all foam version of the mattress can provide.
would be perfect mattress with the combo sleeper issues seveal family members have, such great reviews u give and what great mattress
Eh, I think it could work for you because of the zoned support
Casper mattresses seem well made. I had a Casper Element which I returned because it was too firm. It was a beautiful mattress though. The original Casper also seems very firm. The hybrid versions seem more up my alley since they are on the softer side.
I'm debating between a Casper and a Purple mattress. I like what I'm seeing in this review though!
The zone support and knit cover are nice.
Sounds like a great mattress .I would need a Casper Wave because I'm a strict side sleeper.
I think the redesigned Casper mattress would help me sleep better because it's firmer so that would be great for me as a back sleeper.
I appreciate a mattress that has cooling layers, but I definitely am looking for a mattress for a combo side/back sleeper - mainly side, and I'm not sure this is the mattress I'm looking for.
This would be great for my hubby. He's a back sleeper that needs a lot of support.
The Casper is a great mattress for the money. They have a great warranty too. I like the Casper Wave the best.
Do you find that with a softer mattress you need a softer pillow?
As a stomach sleeper, I like the zone support zones and the ability to sleep cool
Great review thanks!
What an excellent mattress! I would love to try one!
The extra firmness might be good for me and it still has good motion transfer performance.
Being a combo sleeper I've always heard the great things about the Casper mattress! Please!!
The firmness sounds like a perfect fit for me!
My shoulders need the extra support for sure. Great bed!
Wow that’s exactly the type of bed I’ve been looking for, I need that extra support. I don’t want to sink in a softer mattress. What it would be like actually having a full night sleep
the Casper mattress looks like a very solid choice for an all foam bed!
I would like to try a firmer mattress to see if it will help my back.
