Now, I don't mean to say that Niigo didn't cherish their dreams, but Niigo had deeper issues and almost unable to move forward. Even Kanade's dedication into making music was her way of coping, 'to find the reason she can live in the world'. Basically, almost all Niigo already despaired as if they unable to look at hope, but they desperately clung to a thin thread that (luckily for them) the thread was sturdy enough for them to share. It’s to many to just be considered funny friendly flirting. Rui even blushes in a couple of scenes when he talks to Tsukasa. Rui probably likes Tsukasa more then just a friend, but I don’t rlly know about Tsukasa. ⚠️!! I’m not trying to argue w/ ur opinion. I’m just telling you why I think people ship Ruikasa.
