Nice one Todd, great looking figure, so pleased for you, always a thrill to track down a figure that is hard to come by and to get it as good as new is tremendous. The cut and sew elements really are exquisite and I love those spat style shoes as you say … “So Gangsta”. The addition of the cobbled base will add to the overall look as well , goes without saying this is a keeper🤩 Thanks for todays video enjoyable as always and very much looking forward to whatever is up next on the channel, as always stay well 👍
Cheers Andrew 🍻 Very happy to finally get him into the collection!! Still surprised how much he goes for now. Not everyone's cup of tea, but its one that I've wanted for many year's. Thanks for watching 👀 bud
I am so pleased for you having finally got a ten year old figure you've been hunting. Like you, I fell in love with a figure ten years ago (Amber from Sucker Punch MMS158) and even a decade passing never lessened how much I wanted to own her, so I fully understand how some figures can just capture your imagination and heart. It must make you so very happy now you have him in hand after so many years looking and longing for him. Yes, head sculpts weren't as good back then as they can be now, but that's not always the be-all-and-end-all for a figure. When they mean something to you, that's what counts. Congratulations on getting him. Those accessories are superb. Do you have plans for a detolf shelf diorama for him?
You can tell so much your old time collector in saying that. You have it spot on, and yes the feeling is something special for getting something you wanted for so long. Funny you mentioned Amber from Sucker Punch as I seen it many times. I love the look of Baby Doll and was thinking of getting her years ago. Then Amber. So I watched the film and was finding it hard to understand. Maybe I'll give it another go sometime. Always saw Amber for sale but Baby Doll not so much, but both now are quite rare. Still demand quite a price on them. But you know that feeling and you know am over the moon on getting him. Not to everyone's taste but I like him lol. Not really got the room for a display, but who knows in the future, as am always changing displays around from time to time. So why not!! Cheers so much for watching 👀 and understanding my love of this rare figure!!!
Despite the head sculpt do not be very good, DID always do a fantastic job for tailoring and accessories. Maybe a custom head sculpt will be a upgrade to perfection! Happy here with your achievement!
Very true bud, but not going to spend much more on this figure. The custom head sculpt would need the same hair design. Not worth it, quite happy as it is. Got lots of other figures I'd rather have done with custom re-rooted and custom head sculpts lol. Cheers for watching 👀 my friend 👍
VERY cool figure! Great movie! I remember it well! And the figure is amazing! I can see where you wanted this so much. Congrats on a great grail find! ENJOY! (Funny, but this kind of figure makes me want nicely made Dick Tracy figures...but that won't happen...)
I'd get Tracy, Flattop and Big Boy Caprice for sure. IF they did figures this nicely made. THIS Dillinger is a classic. Very nicely made! You gotta do an alley or street scene, that looks like he's just come out of a speakeasy or a bank....@@toddscollectibles980
It's a beautiful figure and belongs to my favorites in my collection too. ☺️👍 I also really like the headsculpt. BTW, I always thought DID means dragon in dreams 😅😅
Congratulations on getting this figure into the collection Todd! It’s a great feeling finally getting something you’ve been after for years isn’t it!! A friend of mine collects a few of these DiD figures and I’m always amazed by the level of detail and craftsmanship that goes into the tailoring and the massive array of accessories! I guess that’s a big benefit of third party figures, they can invest more in their figures as they’ve not had to shell out crazy money for an official licence. Figure looks great on the custom base too 👍🏻🔥 Congrats again mate!
Thank you so much Chris. You got it spot on about this company, could not put it better myself. It came out the same year I started to collect and one I was meaning to get. But as time went on, I got impossible to find. To find one brand new and £280 all in. Shocked to see how much this figure now goes for. Anyway your right always nice to get a figure that we been wanting for year's. Was so excited to get him. Cheers for watching 👀 bud, and always appreciate your support 👍
Pleased for you that you got a grail ,a nice figure loved the Thompson and clothes were excellent. I know you said ,but he don't look like Johnny Depp or John Dilininger but it doesn't detract from figure👍👍.
Thats right you did have it Pete, yes I know I got the name wrong but I did say it later in the video and on the notes. Just can't believe how much this goes for now. Came out the year I started collecting. They are still around and they have a UA-cam channel "DID VIDEO " Glad to finally have him in the collection. Thanks for watching 👀 bud

Few years back someone did a Dick Tracy figure. Dont ask who, to long ago lol.
