interesting answers, it would've been nice to see Matt answering some of those questions, but you know, BFMV is not only Matt so it's nice to see Jamie and Jason doing this kind of stuff
I appreciate Jason as a drummer but for the "what bands sound similar" question his answer of Funeral For a Friend is not miles away necessarily, but he could've easily have just said Trivium & Killswitch Engage. Especially if we're talking in those early days of those bands (early to mid 2000's).
Jason butchers moose's songs live. Repect to jason but he does too much to the songs live and changes how moose wrote them. Love both bands but glad I can still catch moose and jay with Kill The Lights
@@mar.c1 Jason is an incredible drummer but I do agree Moose had a very unique style when writing the songs and it's lost with Jason's interpretations.
@@mar.c1 That's because every drummer has their own style to play, I agree that some parts sound better in the original version/style than the new one, but that's just an opinion and not a fact, I love Jason's energy and the way he plays, altough sometimes he uses too much ride in the older songs lol. But then again, that's because the interpretation changes, and that is good, I played in bands that have songs already wrote and I changed the drum parts sometimes and my bandmates liked what I did more than what was written before lol Sorry for my band english, I'm not a native speaker
@@backbreaker47 I understand that. But any skilled drummer knows for example "this part is played on the highhat, 8th notes." "This part is on the ride cymbal, 16th notes." It is not interpretation issue because it is not even close sometimes. He changed it on purpose for worse. This is my opinion. But I actually like his drumming for songs he wrote himself, for example the new album and the things with axewound. I respect him 👍 and yes he has great energy
@@mar.c1 I agree, his drumming on their new songs/albums is great, but some of the parts he changed on the older songs just don't sound right, like in Scream Aim Fire for example, the original part is played with the hi hat open, while Jason uses ride, and that changes the whole dinamyc and feeling of the riff, and I prefer the original version in that case
Bullet need to make big songs, they deserve to headline major festivals
It's crazy it's been 8 years since Jason and Jamie joined the band. I remember when they announced Jay's departure like yesterday
I have a really bad day today, but Matt licking that Kerrang Award, telling that he’s not into statistics and that he’s drunk made me laugh haha

Good answers, powerful drummer!)

Not too mention there touring with Megadeath

Was thinking Trivium as well.
funny because they are currently touring with trivium. what a lineup
@@sirundying They're promoting it currently, doesn't actually happen until 2025 though. I'm going to the 1st date in Cardiff, gonna be awesome. 🤘
@@RyanCogar is that tour coming to NA or only europe ?
@@sirundying They've said it's going to NA later in 2025 I believe, they just haven't announced the dates for other regions yet as far as I know 🤘👍
I know Matt released a bc rich signature guitar.
Jamie use Music Man bass not PRS 🤣
Great drummer but miss Moose
