The blue one is a good color for boys.
I agree. Or, at least get a neutral color like black, gray, or beige that can be used for a boy or girl. That way, if they decide to have another child later, they can use the same stroller. Those stroller can get a bit expensive. Soap and water can make it like brand new for the next child.

I have a son and bought a red stroller. I used boy colors for blankets and toys hanging from top and also dressed him like a boy. I think you did just fine with the one you got 👍
Everyone needs to remember that this is a different country. In the US you just need to go to Walmart and you have 20 different choices in strollers. You could see he only has 2 maybe 3 choices when he was able to find some. Maybe this one has a feature they were looking for that the blue one didn't have. And I'm not buying a black stroller if I live in Kenya....its to dang hot for that!

Important is the safety of the stroller. It has to be quality so that baby will not get injured. When it comes to baby strollers, baby seats etc, quality is important for safety of the baby. I know of a baby who was injured bcuz of an inefficient stroller. Avoid mishaps by getting a quality stroller.

Koree, you could probably have the lady that does Sylvia dresses…”the seamstress” do the covers to an African theme material…maybe animal prints. Then again, it has to be like an umbrella material. Try to buy a plastic to cover the stroller. I don’t know, if it gets a little chilling where you live and when it rains, Taavi will be covered.

I think only the western countries go by pink for girls and blue for boys. I don't believe Africa follows that rule of thought.
loved the detours , first the school kids at the mall taking turns on the escalators reminded me of Trevor Noah the comedian 😅. loved the African market at the parking lot , the accessories, boy the bags and the dresses. Who knows maybe if we are invited to Taavi's first birthday that will be another stop on the trip😍. thank you for taking us to town, yey we bought a stroller for our nephew, so if mama Taavi doesn't like we are all in for it😬

Wonderful job stroller shopping for Baby Taavi. Koree and Sylvia please consider getting a backseat cover. It covers the entire back seat and protects it from food, diaper blowouts, and milk spills (which you will probably have later as Baby Tavvi learns how to pitch objects such as bottles and food). The cover is strapped around the backseat headrests. The baby car seat is secured on top of the cover. Having this cover helps when you need to clean out the backseat and baby car seat.

Korree is a great husband and he did spend time trying to find one that is more affordable but' pink' , the constant asking if he has a girl in there will get on his nerves after a while regardless of the time he spent looking for one thats affordable, no one said he was bad at all we all love korree and he is doing his best at all times but watch and see , they will get another colour for the fact that people will ask the gender of the baby or just assume its a girl

People may mistake Taavi for a girl since you bought a pink stroller. Something like red or grey is a good color because it can be used for girls and boys. Too bad they didn’t have tan, that’s a good color also…something more neutral but not black which is too hot.

Koree: You did a good job finding a stroller, which looks to me it is a shade of red. For example this flower is pink🌸. Anyhow, even if it were pink it would not matter. In today’s world the saying is “IT TAKES A REAL MAN TO WEAR PINK”😊. Bottom line is one’s preference.
