Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself. - Розваги

I was in college when the black suit was first introduced in the Secret Wars comic. It was a BIG deal! Traditionalist, who couldn't see their hero in anything but red and blue, fought viciously with the new black suit fans. Those were dark days indeed. Brother fought against brother. No comic reader was unscathed. All was torn asunder. Personally, I was finally having sex on a regular basis with a waitress from Pappy's Pizza, so I didn't give a crap. I dropped Spider-Man and read Green Lantern instead.

fun fact: you actually don't need thwipping hands because spidey with a symbiote shoots the webs from the top of his wrist with his hand in his a fist (most of the time)

Dude, he doesn't "thwip" his hands while using the symbiote. He fires webs from the top of his hands. So he doesn't NEED thwipping hands.
i agree but there is a cloth version which black cat made for spidey ,after he got rid of the symbiote .
and in that cloth version of black suit spiderman he thwips.
But that is definitely not the most widely known version of the black suit. Everyone thinks of the symbiote suit, which doesn't do the thwip hands. That's Marvel's logic.

Well it still would have been nice to have the option of posing the figure like its the cloth black suit. He wore the cloth version longer than the symbiote one, such as in the comic where he gets married to MJ or Kraven's Last Hunt.

the super doge I have that but it's in a pack I got it for my birthday it includes: Captain America (with damaged shield,with a head without mask),damaged iron man(with a head without his mask thing), and lastly civil war Spider-Man(with I think caps shield)
The heads on the figures sit to high on the ball pegs that's why there heads look big
This figure is my very first Marvel Legends action figure, I was super stoked to use the articulation and posability to draw with, upon realization that my right leg was bent in the package and cannot stand as shown in 6:36 without moving the leg farther apart than shoulder length. Really sad that my $20 ended up being lost to a bent leg.
hey, i know this is like 5 years late, but if you still have that figure, dip it in hot water for a while, that might solve the bent leg problem

My two complaints are that one, it didn't get smaller eyes, interchangeable head or no interchangeable head, and two, no thwip hands. I'm glad the new Kraven two-pack one has them, but NO WIDE-OPEN HANDS. I am, however, still getting either this one or new kraven 2-pack one. It is awesome, and I love how menacing the spider pincers on this is more than the new one

I love that head sculpt! It looks just like Mcfarlane's work! Not really new ( starting with Scarlet Spider I believe ), but still awesome to see used so much!
I think the eyes are too big. I like the red hulk Spideys eyes more.
I think this one is better than the retro series symbiote spidey.
I got that Black Suit Spider-Man figure with bonus comic way back when I was a kid, and it didn't have the blue shadows.

I'm ready to give up on Hasbro!!! This figure would have been PERFECT if it had sculpted symbiote nipples! It could have been AMAZING, but instead we got a simple repaint. Hasbro is definitely off of my Christmas card list this year!
I think certain factories make a particular mold and so QC is inconsistent in any wave.

This is my favourite suit of all time. It always made more sense to me than red and blue. It's like batman wearing light grey and baby blue which I never liked. As far as the figure, it's. It looks great but feels very fragile compared to other marvel legends. It can get annoying when quality varies like that.
The picture on the end of Kraven's Last Hunt was the best!

Yep, broke mine 2 days ago trying to shift the left arm down at the shoulder and the peg between the shoulder and the upper bicep split and started to bend really bad. I sent an email to Hasbro Customer Support and am waiting for a response :(

I love Scarlet Spider-Man and Venom, but find the Black Suit Spider-Man figure to be very dull. I saw him for only $13.49 today at Meijer, but opted for Ms. Marvel who is much more fun looking.

I've been waiting so long for a Black Spiderman action figure, and I'm not disappointed with the new Black Spiderman at all. In my opinion, this new Black Spiderman is an improvement of the Red Hulk wave Black Spiderman and I have both fugures.

You know how takara re releases transformers under the legends line with higher quality paint and qc? Would you be down for a line of marvel legends with a slightly higher price, no build a figure, but better paint, plastic, accesories, and qc?
I have to say I'm kinda disappointed that the one thing I looked forward to with your videos (the Action Figures being Displayed at the end) are now obstructed by other things. Big time let down for me.

He doesn't need the "thwping" hands. The suit produces its own webbing. He always shoots it in a fist.
But this Spiderman does no webbing hand moves . He shoots the webs out of the white paint-thing on top of the hand and keeps his hands fists while webbing
Mine came broke in package, I've heard a lot of qc issues w/this guy weird bc it's the same buck as usual and my others are great.
i dont really like the blue shading....i prefer it to be jet black.....

You do realize Spider-man's symbiotic suit isn't merely a recolour, right? He's often depicted with larger eyes when he wears it.

I just got mine today. I try to be AS CAREFUL as possible and then SNAP....... Spidey lost an arm. It took a while for me to realize what had happened. I just sat there just thinking to myself "I just waited $30 on this S#!%".

The Thwipping hand that comes with the Deadpool back in black figure works for this Spider-Man. You just have to paint the white square on the hand and BAM there you go.
A good way to loosen the joint are to apply conditioner to the joints

Don't say how you wish that it would have come with thwipping hands. Fanboys will crucify you, despite the fact that nowhere on the packaging does it say "symbiote" or "alien." They almost killed me over that same wish.
finally get this figure for christmas this year! found him online for about £15.85 which is a good price gonna get him along with the retro shocker so i at least have the pizza spidey mould and a peter parker spiderman

just right now (4/23/18 5:28) my black spiderman arm broke off I laughed and I might get a new one the arm broke off because there was extra plastic i took off the plastic with hot water and it came off
Got lucky and decided to hit up TRU at 1am and they had a fresh box and black voltron lion. I guess they aren't suppose to sell voltron until January but the manager said merry christmas!
