Never had an issue. Its pushed into copper at my wrist and the continues copper to handheld piece. The actually silver plate in my hand never gets hot as the flame and heat are always directed away from it. I've actually thought if minimizing the "extra cautious" parts as it has proved quite reliable over the years.
@@Cibervirus83 Thanks for reply. i am going to order a big stainless steel dragon that will blow up fire when i want and so far your poofer is the best that will work for me. Just wanted to see if pilot will stay ON for like 4 hours will that melt the rubber but in my case i think i can do all metal ,not rubber
