Apple in 2020: m8, your keyboard is broken because of a mistake we made? C’mon pay up! You need that computer don’t ya!
I switched to a Mid-2014 MBP 15”
Inflation adjusted that’s a base price of like $7500 in today’s dollars.
This is the machine that revolutionized the industry.
$2499. sheesh. $5999 now. Thanks Tmmay

Sometimes, I don't know what Apple was thinking with that trash can.
Round garbage can case thats funny i am looking to buy a used mac pro from 2008 and its more customizable with 8 or more cores the highest core i ever had is a i7 dual core
yes i understand but mac is more compatible with mac os x i have tried using a pc it worked pretty good but used macs are cheap these days and i could get a profit from upgrading it my self
+richard konsky Problem is MacOS Sierra won't just work on a 2008 Mac Pro thanks to Apple dropping support. You have to mod it to make it boot, but at least it's still a real Mac and doesn't require a boot loader like a Hackintosh.
***** It doesn't have Mac firmware and will require a bootloader nonetheless. I do recommend +richard konsky goes with a 2009 4,1 or 2010 5,1 at a minimum (4,1 can be easily flashed to a 5,1 and upgraded with the same components).
Well trashcan speaks for itself what they were thinking. Res Ipsa Loquitor my friend
Looking forward to tomorrow, fellas.
Came here in 2019, Apple just introduced the new Mac Pro up to 28 Cores and up to 1.5 TB of MEMORY RAM!! Not storage, RAM!!! Holy sheit!!!!!!😲
Yep!
And its super affordable.
They're not. MP1,1 (this in the video) and MP2,1 are not supported on OSX ML. There are hacks to get it done, but that's all about it.
When did move from AirPort to WiFi? (Or is this a bad question 😂)
The price is $700, which is about what a Quadro costs. Except the Mac Pro here already has a graphics card in it worth a couple of hundred. So I would say both are about the same except you get a much better Chassis with Apple.
Please look up on the net what the difference of Geforce and Quadro is.
Can it work with RTX 2080Ti GPU and 16GB RAM?
up to 64gb ram and can take any nvidia gpus, but slow caches in pcie, cpu and ram will make games to run only 30fps or so XD
Watching this in 2020, I chucked 1 of these in the skip last month because it would no longer boot lol.
Every time he says performance you take a shot of Tequila.
Watching from my Mac Pro 2009 :)
It’s crazy that phones today can outperform these machines. Then again, they were released almost 20 years ago.
2020-2021 apple start transition to apple silicone replacement of intel cpu but still they’re two products still using intel cpu: Mac Pro and MacBook Pro 16in
