    My dad is Native American so I gained his skin tone and hair, and I always admired his hair when I was younger and he taught me how to take care of my own, because we had special hair, unlike my white moms hair. But he is no longer in my life and I’m a teenager and I’ve looked everywhere to find how to take care of my hair, and I couldn’t find anything. So thank you for this! You have no idea how much you young Native American girls need this.❤️❤️

      same here ! been searching the internet for ways to take care of hair and improve my growth. i’m a senior in high school and i’ve only had 2 big chops out of life so far. i don’t wanna cut again i want mines to as long as jessica’s. i’m definitely gonna try out the shampoo and conditioner. i also air dry my hair. it’s been a while since i’ve used a dryer on my hair. i only flat iron it when i get tired of my natural state but i don’t have a heat protectant so i’ll try that too

    YES sister, thank you for sharing your time!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I like to add a hair tonic spraywith traditional herbs both native and African as I am Black Native and Creole. I use nettle, cedar, sweetgrass, sage, hibiscus, ginger root, rooibos, myrrh powder, frankincense resin, sometime raspberry leaf, and yerba mate or green tea. The last two are dht blockers, that's the hormone that causes hair loss. Mix it with some aloe vera and essential oils like rosemary and lavendar and spearmint or peppermint and rose-geranium and it really keeps my hair strong in the process of braiding it before I add conditioner and grease. I wash my hair in 2 braids cuz I dont like combing anymore lol total game changer!!

    Omgggg I can believe I found fellow Native American girls on this platform!! I’m descent of Brazilian Native Americans from both my mom and my dad’s side but I believe my curly hair comes from my mom’s Mediterranean side (bc Italians, Hispanics, Portugueses and etc can have rly curly or wavy hair)! From my Native American side I just got this beautiful skin tone WHICH I LOVE (and here in Brazil we call this mix of white skin and Native American’s skin tone by “parda” or even “morena”… But I just have to mention that a few ppl can also translate this last word only as “brunette”) even that it’s not as “reddish” as my grandma’s for example, and the healthiest hair I could possibly ask for (I constantly straighten it and it’s always healthy, I just had problems when I changed the color but also the hairstylist wasn’t one of the bests)!! I’m gonna subscribe to your channel and I can’t wait to watch some content about makeup, hair and etc (Idk about my dad’s side but from my mom’s side our family tribe is Puri that is originally from Brazil’s Southeast if I’m not mistaken)… Best wishes from Brazil!!

    Hi, cheers for Spain. I would like to give you an advice. Try the Aleppo Soap, 100% natural, also vegan, and throw that HS shampoo. I have some skin problems and I use Aleppo Soap for everything:
    Hair cleaning, face cleaning, body cleaning, shaving, as hair mask etc.
    Buy one with at least 30% of laurel oil (then 70% of olive oil).
    As higher laurel oil percentage, better.

    I've always found that native Americans, Hispanics and Asians have hair of an extremly good quality, like their scalp is healthy and they have hydrated and shiny hair. I have North European origins and my hair look dead even if I put a lot of effort into keeping it healthy x)

    • @kilipaki87oritahiti
      @kilipaki87oritahiti 3 роки тому +1

      Lol Hispanics are only people who speaks Spanish. It’s not an actual race nor ethnicity😝 And those are just stereotypes. And what do you mean by dead? Different hair textures has different needs. I find that oils work better for black and Caucasian hair, while rice water etc. works better for Asian hair, tho we have everything from dead straight, waves, curly to fros. So again depends on the texture.

    I know your vid is a year old but I hope you looked into the curly hair method. I have straight hair just like you but I do this method because it works on my THICK hair. It may not define any curls but it has helped TREMENDOUSLY with making the strands like clump together? My curly hair ppl know what I’m talking about, and has minimized the amount of super fine tangles in my long hair. I used to get literally pin point knots in my straight hair if I used no product in my hair after washing. The gels and oils mousse and smoothies has made a huge difference in my hair and had made brushing out less of a hassle because I’m not ripping out these tiny little knots that would form.

    Nice!! I am half Native and half Mexican, but inherited my native side's hair type. My hair used to be super thick, but is probably 1/3 of what is was before, but is still thick compared to other peoples. My Mexican family didn't know how to treat my hair, so would get it thinned and straightened. But, my hair is naturally thick and wavy. I used Mane and Tail after my aunt and mom tried to get me to use products that were't right for my hair. Mane and Tail worked for a bit, but I found that Maui works great on my hair. I wash only 2-3 times a week, let it air dry, and once semi-dry, add hair oil, then brush. For the last 4-5 years I've been growing out my hair from chin length, and now it's halfway down my back. I'm trying to grow my hair to right above my waist, which will probably take awhile. But, I'm hoping to hit my desired length in 2-3 years!

      Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before a False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day, “Green Sabbath”, “Laudato Si, par. 237”, etc.
      Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books.
      The true Sabbath Is not Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc. The true Sabbath is calculated by true time, Genesis 1:14.
      An example of God’s Time:
      The first week.....the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day.
      The second, third and fourth week........six work days and then the Sabbath day.
      There is never, ever, ever five weekly Sabbaths in any one of God’s given months as it is on other calendars.
      Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate the Sabbaths, etc., not the Gregorian calendar or any other man-made time.
      ((((((( I understand, under this world system, we use the Gregorian time for work days, doctor’s appointments, etc. ))))))
      The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept!
      God has three category of days in the Bible, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day.
      God’s months start with the new moon day, which is the first day of the month, the beginning of the month.
      The Gregorian calendar do not start its months with the new moon day. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on the Gregorian calendar.
      Sometimes, on the famous Gregorian calendar, the new moon day falls on the “Gregorian Seventh day Saturday Sabbath.”
      How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath?
      This along should help a person see that the Gregorian calendar is not true time and that the Biblical Sabbath should not be calculated by it.
      We
      The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Exodus 12:48,49
      ********* Now, we who keep the Sabbath by the lights in heaven, do not claim to always be on the true Sabbath day. We know that there are times we are not on the right day. But we do believe that Genesis 1:14 is the method to calculate God’s Sabbath. We do not fully understand God’s Time yet. God will give more light.**********
      ======================================
      Also, research the "Seven Noahide Laws" and Education Day U.S.A.
      From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the “Talmud.” The first law in “The seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols.
      According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation.
      Will these laws be enforced on all nations???
      Research the connection between the United Nations, The Presidents, President Bush, President Trump, etc. and “The Seven Noahide laws"
      THESE "SEVEN NOAHIDE LAWS". SEEMS TO BE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!!
      ======================================
      Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people occupying the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true?
      There are also other groups of people who say that they are the true Jews.
      Jesus said in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9 that someone is saying that they are Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan.
      If Jesus warns us about a synagogue of Satan in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, should not we be concern?
      If the people residing in the land of Israel not true Israel, then who are they and what is their agenda for the world?
      Who are the true Bloodline Jews?
      HAVE A GOOD DAY FRIENDS OF GOD..........GLORY TO THE FATHER AND SON!

    Hi Jessica! You have beautiful long hair! I really love the length! Your hair length is my goal. I would like to get it to Classic Length or Mid-Thigh Length someday. I used to used Mane N Tail Shampoo and Conditoner 10 years ago. I definitely gotta get back into using it again. Because, I really miss it a lot. I use their Gentle Clarifying Shampoo and Deep Moisturizing Conditioner but I haven't used any of their regular shampoo and conditioner in a long while. Right now, my favorite hair products are Garnier Fructis, Aussie Mega Moist, and Pantene Pro-V. I also have a ton of hair products in my stash! But i also love the texture of your hair as well! You hair doesn't look all of that thin to me. I would consider the texture is fine but you do have a lot of it. So, I do agree with you that as far as thickness it is medium. I would also say, your hair is thick enough for me! :) BTW, congrats on your babies! My natural hair color is the same as yours too! Mine is more of a dark brown near black but when I'm in the sunlight is looks medium brown. I used to wash my hair once a week. My hair and scalp can't wait 7 or more days before it's washed. It needs to be washed every other day. Or, twice a week. I really like how your routine is to the minimalist! I love just a simple routine! My routine is simple as well. I just use my favorite shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, or deep conditioner. That might help you in the order of how fast your hair grows. That's great that you don't use a dryer to dry your hair! On my hair wash days I also let my hair air dry too but with my thick hair I have to use a little heat like which is only 5 minutes of the blow dryer but I always use a heat protectant.

    I edited this to just say you are so beautiful and this video has taught me that indigenous and Native American woman’s hair takes a lot of care and effort and that I love watching videos like this in order to learn about other races/ ethnicities and I apologize for saying you looked like Pocahontas, I meant the real life one and not the animated but I understand that wasn’t clear in the comment. Wish you love!

    You have beautiful long hair! And yes, hormones. Post-partum hair loss is crazy. I also had to chop off 30cm of mine 6 months post-partum because it was just too damaged and thin and limp and not pretty at all.
    Oh my. I cringed when I saw the Head&Shoulders bottle, I will admit, lol. Those hardcore stripping shampoos do not agree with my scalp. Also, I don't know if it's something that might help people with itchy and dandruffy scalps, but: I personally discovered that my scalp hates sulfates. I bought a natural shampoo (with rhassul) that was sulfate-free and: my hair got all shiny and got its volume back, and my dandruff disappeared, the scalp feeling fresh and it did not itch anymore. It happened quite quickly too, like after 3-4 uses I felt and saw the difference.
    Another trick I discovered VEEEERY recently when searching for ways to get back my waves and curls (hormones, stress, not caring for the hair correctly) is this: for tangles, I have stopped brushing my hair dry completely. In the shower, I wet the hair, put conditioner on, detangle with my fingers or my shower brush if I have knots, wash it out, and then I shampoo, re-condition and wash out. And if it's not a hair wash day and I need to detangle the hair, I wet it with a spray bottle, put a little leave-in conditioner and also rake my fingers through it. It helps with not breaking too much hair and respects my texture.
    Another tip for people who still want to detangle their hair before going in the shower: oil. You put a ton of oil in the hair, gently brush it with a wide-toothed comb, leave it in a bun for at least 15min and then shower and remove all the product. It leaves the hair all shiny.
    Since I started my little curl journey two weeks ago, my hair looks healthier already and I got waves and curls again!

      The Sabbath is a sign between God and I His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them.
      ======================================
      ======================================

      @@jessicahorne6496 Btw, if you want a natural ingredient that will make your hair beautiful then use Soapnuts. I've been using for 4 years and my hair has never been that silky, soft and it makes your hair grow healthier. The shampoos you use are too aggressive for your body and your scalp. And they are full of products that create an occlusion on your hair and so make it look less hydrated because the laureth sulfate is dehydrating. Soapnuts clarify but doesn't strip out your hair and scalp barriers. So the hair will get detoxified through months and you'll see your real hair nature. And for hairloss and conditioning, i recommend you to use Jojoba oil for lustrous hair or Castor oil for hair loss and growing your hair thicker.
