    The BBC just did a program on this old Akan instrument call *sɛprɛwa* i
    But the white man brought guitar 🎸 and we abandoned ours.
    The Gambians and Malians have kept their kola instrument though

      the music changed. you had palmwine, highlife, etc. it should be noted that while they started playing the guitar, the style of play was very much influenced by the seperewa.

      ​@@paperwait9611and guitar too come from Africa. The northern Ghana has Guitar, sax, and xylophone. The Europeans Copied and only improved the amplification

    Sunu Doe, a colleague at the University of KwaZulu-Natal has given me this beautiful harp ... crafted by the master Osei Korankye... as a gift! For this I am very grateful and hope to find time to teach the instrument my songs... and also make new ones.
