    There are lots of custom boot makers left. The firefighting industry often get custom fitted boots and they have to be nailed/stapled so the rubber does not fall off after walking on hot ground.

    We, Danes, in Denmark have a weird big passion for our flag. The traditionel birthday decorations are our flag, so you have like small flags on the tables, small flags in the front garden to show that there is a birthday party going on and then there is miniature pole with a flag sitting by the birthday kid on the table. Like, when Americans use ballons we use flags instead. (We also have ballons with the flag on it) We also put flags on our Christmas trees. (Probably because it's Jesus' birthday)

      @pdts1337 7 років тому +3

      Yeah, that was harsh. Russian food is very diverse (due to obvious reasons) and pretty amazing when curated by someone with taste.
      I've had my US friends over in Moscow, and I gave them a couple of places to try for dinner. Almost a year later they still keep remembering how crazy good everything was.
      Plus, the 'pizza reasoning' (people in Russia being slim as the food is awful; while in US it is amazing so everyone is fat) - it is pretty hypocritical. Italians have just as much pizza around them - and obesity isn't exactly their main trait, is it? There's pizza places all around Moscow, but I'm guessing the hosts didn't want you to have the same food one would eat back at home.
      Anyway… out to get some borscht!

    The only contender I think for the most loved flag would be the Texan flag because I have heard complaints when it is not flown as high as the American flag, which the fact that it even can be flown at the same height is relatively obscure. Texans have insane amounts of pride for our state, including our flag. That or some people's southern pride for the controversial confederate flag.
