I always experienced more noise on such tube drive pedals than on digital effect pedals and devices. Does the AMT Brick produces noise?
This is preamp, not drive. Noise?....well, if you connect it correctly, there is no noise. Try to avoid ground loops.
@@leothemetal Of course I mean a preamp but when you apply a bit more gain to a slight distortion it should not end up in more noise by means of rushing noise (no humming from ground loops). Have you checked the level of noise the preamp generates compared to other devices?

Let me put it in this way-I used these brick preamps for guitar and bass recording. Here is final result.

Didn't have any noise issues. So there was no need for me to check out noise level.
I guess, that I've used O preamp for bass, but I am not sure, could be A preamp as well. Both equal noiseless.

I used some stock bass cabinets from Two Notes Torpedo C-A-B.
