I just wrote a comment suggesting the same thing, before I found yours. I think it’s a reference to the purrgil, especially considering the voice clip at 23:45 in the video, where Huyang says “…star whales, named purrgil.” Like Cetus being a whale made up of stars (as a constellation).

The space dogfight was so cool! Brings back tons of feels from the original trilogy and RotS. Shin looks more bad ass every scene she is in. She gives me young Anakin vibes
Why did the ship have unlimited health tho? Comlpletly ruined the scene. The ship was out of power and took several attack waves while ashoka jumped around in space and almost no damage at all. I dont know how anybody would write such a bad storyline.
I'm glad the trailer footage has mostly been shown. Now, we can go in free and unspoiled. I laughed at the cup scene and the camera turning to see its reaction.
I like to think that the Hyperspace ring was a Thrawn blueprint. He always had an eye for improving tech. The TIE defenders for one. And we know he had a curiosity of the Hyperspace ring that Anakin had. Would be like him to build on and improve that, especially for an ISD
I've been hoping they'd bring Starkiller back into canon and if he's in Ashoka I'll be so happy, also Starkillers name is Galen Marek (not that different from Marrok)

I mean aside from the stale acting, another Jedi getting stabbed in the gut and surviving, the ship taking a 100 shots without damage, a lightsaber blocking ship blasters, and requiring us all to watch a kids cartoon, yeah it’s brilliant😂
I do think Marrok being Ezra is a very far shot, but his character is giving me Arkham Knight vibes, like this has to be a character that we are familiar with at the very least

Marrok is definitely a star killer reboot and just like how andor threw in the canonization of the ancient people; I believe his armor appearing means he likely was a precursor to the inquisitors or was vaders apprentice before becoming an inquisitors.
Marrok isn't Ezra. The actor playing Ezra isn't in the main credits for episode 3. He was in the credits for 1 & 2 and I thought because Ezra didn't appear in episode 2 maaaaybe he could've been Marrok. But no. He's not.
Not to mention it makes literally zero sense for it to be Ezra. Ezra just somehow made it back without Thrawn, and Thrawn never figured out how Ezra would've done it, even though he's a literal genius. Also Ezra comes back and doesn't contact anyone, just becomes a sith and starts working with Beylan and Morgan? I would literally stop watching Star Wars if that happened.

I see the Greek mythology reference in the comments for Seatos. I agree and think it would be noteworthy to explore that entire family. AND there may be parallels between the ancient Greeks and the Romans (a democracy/republic taking control after older civilizations).

Either the deflectors are ridiculous on Ahsoka's ship or those mercenary ships have baby guns. Also those training swords are supposed to mimic mat cutting. Basically used to test Japanese swordsmen on how accurate and powerful their cuts can be.
Marrok being a knight bewitched into the form of a wolf makes me wonder if it’s going to be Kanan, because of his link to the Loth Wolves. Witwer could be a good fit for Kanan.

Wouldn't Ahsoka just be doing like an advanced force jump when doing her space flip? If force user can jump like ?30 ft? Idk their actual limit, but some should be able to do her cool cartwheel flip in space. With no gravity, it's her force that can propel in any direction for a short time.

Ahsoka is staying on the ship and jumping sideways because she is using the force to manipulate her position, like Leia did.
Plus with Star Wars space doesn't really work like actual space.
Force users have used the force in space in books, comics, games, etc for decades
Other than Leia, Ashoka also actually wears a spacesuit here, which makes this way less laughable than the Leia scene.

I do think thats the holo sabers Huyang use are based off of Tatami mats which have bewn used in Japan to train the cuts of swordsmen

The Fighters remind me of the 1940/50's race planes. Example Gee Bee R1, or the Bulldog, or ever the Boeing P-26 Peashooter.

You mentioned Captain Palleon being on the shadow council but I recall him being part of Thrawns blockade above Lothal when it was taken away by the Purgil presumably to the same place the Chimera was taken with Thrawn and Ezra on board. So I was wondering if Palleon was with Thrawn when he disappeared with Ezra how is Palleon back but Thrawn isn’t
the purrgil only took Thrawn's star destroyer, whereas Palleon was on a different star destroyer.
Paelleon’s star destroyer was destroyed. He probably escaped on a shuttle or escape pod.
@@MJJFilms I swear the officer on the Chimera said the blockade ships were just gone not destroyed and when Thrawn spoke to Palleon his comm shut off it seemed more like he was out of range rather than his ship being destroyed

Wouldn't Ahsoka just be doing like an advanced force jump when doing her space flip? If force user can jump like ?30 ft? Idk their actual limit, but some should be able to do her cool cartwheel flip in space. With no gravity, it's her force that can propel in any direction for a short time.
