It's just a different gameplay style. I tend to play better at games like this verse games like ProSekai. That's just because I have a crap tablet and I grew up playing button based rhythm games and not touch screen ones lol.
You may already know this, but just in case, you can actually alternate the button's between the X A B and Y buttons and the Up down left and right buttons on the joycons! It took me a while to realize that, and it really helps when you do. Good luck fellow vocaloid lover!
I use a PS4 controller connected to my switch with an 8bitdo wireless adapter. But from my experience, the joycons work perfectly fine as long as you don't beat the shit out of the controllers lol.
@@Juicebox0 lol I don't think that'a possible, I just finished playing this in the psp emulator and I smashed my ps4 controller so hard I was surprised it was durable. Do you think the smaller controllers like hori can be durable enough for this?
@@KeiZiahKnight unfortunately I've never owned a hori product, but from what I've seen, they hold up really well. It's worth a shot and seeing how well it holds up. I would also recommend looking into an 8bitdo since they are about $30 last I checked.

Personally, it depends. If you already open Project Diva Future Tone, it's not really worth it since you get half the content. If you don't own a PS4, then maybe it's worth it. I spent $100 for the entire game on Switch and you only get about 130 songs. But Future Tone have like 240 songs for $60.
It's very funny that the hatsune miku project diva mega 39s costs 39.39 and comes with 101 songs instead a single pack of hatsune miku project diva future Tone like him. Future sound comes with 110 and alone. It costs $25

It's all good. It took me years to get where I was at at this point. Now I'm doing more extreme diffs and I'm still not much better lol. Just remember to play for fun and focus only on the parts you need to work on! :)
The difficulty on each game is different. Since Future Tone and Mega Mix have different gameplay compared to previous entries in the series. Project Diva F and F2nd are my personal favorites, but I find them to be harder than Future Tone and Mega Mix, but that's a personal opinion.
As far as I know, they only customizable UI parts are the notes (you can use ABXY, PS Face Buttons, Arrows, or a mix of them). The menus aren't customized, but the song selection does allow you to change the order.

I only have demo but I think you go to customization and go to sound or custom sounds or something like that and chose which sounds you want.
When I play on hard and start getting a combo beyond like 70 get Triggered, if it happens again, I just quit the game for a day and come back. XD
