I just got mine yesterday. No instructions were included but the tool is simple to use. The loading of the paper was a bit tricky but once you get it it's very simple to load. Don't overthink it. My Autel BT608E included the screen protector. The tool has a premium feel. Worth the money.
My battery is AGM and with the cost of batteries these days keep going up if it stops me throwing a good battery away i think the tool will pay for itself in time. Thank you for the great video. I’m in the uk 🇬🇧 and I’m sold on this Autel battery tester. Temperature is so important in part of fault diagnosis on a battery and this machine has it built into the clamps and taken into account in its onboard algorithm calculations it’s just an awesome tool 🤩
Looks like a very capable tool and has some pretty good features. It is an expensive tool, but you mentioned that it has lifetime updates, so that sounds good. Have a good one Glen and don't work too hard!
That is one nice piece of equipment! At 25:22, it does not recommend an AGM replacement battery due to high temperature circumstances (can damage battery) in the engine compartment. I find that strange, as 90% of vehicles have AGM as OEM batteries. Nice demo!!
I'm just a guy who enjoys wrenching on my vehicles, and I would love to have this in my toolbox, but it is a professional must. I own the Topdon BT200, which is good for a part-time guy who likes to tinker. FYI... Love your choice of truck (I own a 2016 5.0). Off to watch your other drops. Great job.
Hopefully this helps. Had to send it back to dealer. What a nightmare. Autel wouldn’t help either. We've been having nothing but issues with vehicle coverage. We're unable to decode vin on some 4 & 3 year old vehicles such as Ford, GM etc. There are no pending updates on the device. We can't enter the vehicle manually such as the 2021 Ford Explorer or even a 2020 Chevy truck.
@@ozzstars_cars BT608. Same one in your video. Later noticed that Autel USA website has no mention of vehicle coverage for this device. When I questioned tech support, they said they’re working on an update but can’t confirm release date. They’re only 4 years behind 😄
@@ozzstars_cars OTOFIX BT1 is made by Autel. The only difference I see is the price and color. OTOFIX is cheaper but looks just like the autel. Maybe the update is different, idk. I've been trying to figure it out. If someone knows the difference, pls comment. I really want to know lol
I had a clamp break so I dissected it. Inside the negative clamp is a camera. If you squeeze the negative clamp and look inside of it while it’s open you can see it. I would send you a picture but I don’t know how.

I agree it's a great tool to own.
Having good test equipment makes a job so much easier. Thanks for the demo Gen
Sure does and thanks Lloyd

Can't beat free, right? I'm working harder than ever Terry. Two careers at one time isn't enough, now I have three.🤣
Ozzstar's Cars... Awesome video bro... Another great tool from Autel.. I need a battery tester too. Thanks for sharing it.
Autel MaxiBAS BT608 is a good item, Ozzstar is a real mechanic!
Thanks

That is super cool that it auto ID the battery. Nice demo 👌
Makes life a little easier. Thanks
I wish they had this kind of equipment when I was on the bench wrenching!!
It is a helpful universal tool, anything to make the job easier.
That’s a great tool Ozz!
Yes it is, thanks Rob
A tool for the professional and advanced DIY as well. It is a bit pricey but wow, lots of options.
Get what you pay for. Good luck on the sale of the blue Vette Wyatt.
I bought one of the machines when they 1st came out it's the best thing ever if you can afford it buy it you can buy extra paper on Amazon
The tool does work well and handy to own.
Brilliant video tutorial great thank you

Cool Tool!

Awesome video. Do you know if you are able to print out a the list of scanned codes under the regular diagnostics?
Just the battery test results but that would be a cool option.
Very nice unit . 👍
Thanks and what do you think of the battery tester? haha Hope all is well Steve!
I have the same tool and I love it,
Awesome 👍 Thanks Man
You're welcome
Those are marine battery and 31 series(screw top) battery testing/charging posts
Is there an amp probe accessory?
Yes it is called BTAK
just awesome sharing
Thanks
Great!
How about the deep cycle batteries? Such as solar battery, etc.. Can we use this tool to test it.
Thank you
Works with all sorts of car batteries like AGM.
Hell yea got me one going to learn the shit out of this device Autel all the best!!!!
Does it detect parasitic battery draw and which culprit module?
Yes
If using the optional amp clamp or probes. I don't believe any device can tell you exactly what module is the culprit without testing.

That provides the battery temperature to the BT608 according to their instruction video.
can it connect on an obd2 port??

Good
Those extra lead ends are for testing out of the car
