start with something you can reference like a real castle or one from a game. build it tiny first to get the layout right, a couple hundred bricks at most. incrementally scale it up and keep rebuilding it until you have it half size. then use the knowledge you obtain to build the castle you want to build.
There is a very similar size and shaped charmander statue made of lego in probably the worst toys r us in calgary the only thing that is cool is the charmander
