This is awesome, I have a couple of fleece blankets that are worn on the edge I can trim them down and basically make them new again with a crochet border, thank you Sara for this and for sharing. ❤️❤️🤗🤗
You know I never thought about doing this. Thank you Sara for showing it to us. I have some fleece that I was going to put binding around it, but this would make it much more personal. You just have the best ideas.
Oh my goodness! I literally just finished crocheting the edge on two fleece baby blankets.....AND the remnant section is where I got mine....now I will see if u do it like I do...☺️😊👍👍
Where might I find info on a sweater for a tiny dog? My elderly rescue rabbit gets cold as his mobility isn't as good as my other 2 rabbits. I'm going through a second round of congestive heart failure that was not supposed to ever happen again, but here I am! I am always hot from my heart struggling to beat strong enough so I have to use fans. I would like to make my poor boy a sweater. He spent 3 years left in a shed alone and neglected. Even his basic needs weren't met. I asked to meet him at my neighbors and was horrified. We have had him for a wonderful 4 years and he lives a life of obstacles due to health, but he knows only love now. He is so grateful and loving.
Sara, do you know of anyway you can see the crochet videos that’s in another language. There are lots that’s not in English. Thanks for help if you can. Charlotte
Years ago I purchased some “Edgit” crochet hooks. They have a piercing point on the end which allowed me to add crochet trim to some receiving blankets out of 100% cotton flannel. It saved having to go around with the large needle first to make the blanket stitch. Interestingly the trim I did was a shell pattern similar to the one you used.😊
@@SaraSach I assure you that being in the textiles, and the fashion industries, not to mention being a clothing designer, has taught me well that the name for type of fabric and the name of the machine it is made upon, as well as the name of inventor thereof, one Msr Joseph-Marie Jacquard by name, is pronounced just as I have helpfully stated. What you may not understand, though, is that a lot of those pronunciation videos are wrong, being computer generated, you see. The one you can truly rely on is Julien Miguel, he is an actual linguist and all of his pronunciations are spot on... On the money, you can count on it, and any other phrase that fits, although, I didn't need him to know this as my country gal mom taught me when she made me a pretty jacquard dress way back in 7th grade. P.S. Need I say it, that I am a logophile par excellence and into etymologies deep?
Thank you for showing me how to put the blanket stitch and trim on a blanket. Have a terrific week.

That's a great idea!
Sometimes the fleece throw or blankets are just a few inches short so adding a border or edging is a great idea
So true.
Never tried this…thanks so much for sharing! Might try this for my new granddaughter 🥰
How cute. I’m really eager to try this. Oh I have the same shirt you’ve wearing ❤️
I love this shirt!

If you are looking for a video, put "tiny dog sweater pattern" in the youtube search box. or even Rabbit sweater.
Thank you. I thought you might know🐇🐇🐇

No, I don't other than change your UA-cam Settings.
Check out Rose likes crochet. See the puppets you taught me to do. Hope you like them.
I sure will! Thanks

The Edgit piercing crochet hooks are great, I just wish they were made in bigger sizes. Working w/ smaller hooks hurt my hands.
@@ravenscrochet1352 totally agree!
Neat idea. BTW jacquard is pronounced (juh•KHARD), not "jackered".
I Googled it, and listened to the pronunciation, and It sounds like Jackard to me. But I don't care what it's called, I love the yarn.

Welp, this country girl is not worried about it.
