      @@swapmotolive. your guys top two bikes pretty much same as michael lindsays shootout and vital mx with the top 3 not to far off from each shootout. But no surprise mxa had ktm at number 1 and honda was near last !!!.

      @@swapmotolive. first of all this is a great video and I love that every rider speaks for himself. I have watched the mxa shootout but didn't hear any shots but maybe it was in a different video. Keep the good work up! Have a fantastic day

    I have a 2020 yz250f and i hopped on it and felt right at home as well coming from a 2016 kx250f. With that being said i would love to be abled to ride every manufacturer to see where the other bikes may feel better than the yamaha to me or better than any other bike. Im pretty curious.

    Love the video footage of the riders but the entire thing was pretty biased safe for one guy everyone picked the bike they raced the previous year... they need a vet shootout where all they race are older bikes to really get a non bias idea of what’s the best new bike.

    • @christophervillarreal8565
      @christophervillarreal8565 5 років тому

      Swapmoto live the first test rider yes he rode Yamaha and preferred the Honda, second test rider didn’t mention what he rode so maybe you’re right there, third rider said is why he chose to ride it last year, fourth rider doesn’t mention, fifth rider is riding the exact same bike husky and ktm are the same save for an air box modification all husky riders do when taking racing seriously. Last rider doesn’t mention but perhaps you’re right the majority may have been legit but at least two or three riders were picking their last years bike.

      Christopher Villarreal That is literally the dumbest observation I’ve read for a while. There are only 6 bikes and 6 testers so only a finite number of options, and it’s not like someone blatantly chose a crap bike (Suzuki) just because they raced it last year. Plus, the guy has just explained how wrong your original statement was and you say “maybe you’re right”... Maybe?! What do you mean maybe? He’s giving you the facts, it was his test 😂. The final order is pretty much in line with most other tests as well so again, not like this is obviously biased in some weird way, like having the KTM win or something. People just can’t accept that these tests are a collection of opinions! 🙄

      Swapmoto Live Fair play to you for actually doing this, and having to deal with the same old comments and accusations all the time... I couldn’t do it! Haha
      Every test that comes out has numerous testers and some prefer one bike over another other; often every guy has their own individual running order but still you get people crying in the comments that their favourite brand didn’t win! But of course if their favourite DOES win, it was fully deserved and it’s the greatest bike in the world! 🙄😂

      Swapmoto Live I read the full article you’re right I can admit when I’m wrong no need to get your panties in a bunch Michael Hodgkinson it’s not that serious. Special considering there’s been a ktm bias for a long time despite their machines breaking down at every track. And the 4 that I’ve personally owned having issues from the second it rolled out the door.

    • @Mockle07
      @Mockle07 5 років тому +1

      Christopher Villarreal Haha no it’s not serious, you’re right, but there are just so many ill-informed, ragey comments on UA-cam, especially on bike videos and I just happened to see yours and had a few minutes to waste.
      Again, you’re claiming journalist/tester bias toward KTM based on things the testers can’t include in their verdict - if their bike doesn’t break down they can’t mark it down just because yours did... who knows how you and all the others who have problems maintain your bikes? I’ve had two KTMs and the only problem I’ve had is the 1st one (an old 2009) had a few engine bolts that seemed to be made from cheese. Other than that, all good.
      It just seems that if KTM or Husky do well, Americans go mad and say it’s biased but it’s ok for Honda, Yamaha or Kawasaki to do well... I think the bias from 90% of commenters is based on their on-school brand loyalty.
      I don’t understand brand loyalty. Don’t get me wrong, there are brands I naturally like due to colours, general design or riding traits of their bikes etc. but I would never buy a bike simply because it’s from a certain brand. Suzuki as a brand in road and off road does nothing for me, but if they brought out the best dirt bike or sports bike I’d buy one. I do like Yamaha but if their bikes were crap I wouldn’t buy one, simple as that.
