    If you guys are wondering, why the colour of laser changed inside the prism,
    Let me tell you that colour of light is dependent on its wavelength and when light enters are denser medium its speed decreases but frequency remains unchanged because it is dependent on the source [c=f*λ] (c means speed of light, f means frequency, λ means wavelength)
    That means on entering a denser medium the wavelength of light decreases and hence it changes its colour.
    Hope you learned something new😚

    If you see there is also a Reflecting Light by first Surface. If you incident the light when angle of Refraction is perpendicular to angle of reflection, then Reflected light will be Horizontally Polarized without even using a Polariser.
    It is natural way to Polarise the Unpolarised Light.

      Because it's wavelength drops at such an amount we are no longer able to see it

  • @samuelmelke963
    @samuelmelke963 5 місяців тому

    If the light entering the prism is truly monochromatic, meaning it consists of only one specific wavelength (for example, pure green light), then there won't be any dispersion because there are no other wavelengths present to separate.
    In such a case, the refraction of the light through the prism will still occur, causing the light to bend as it enters and exits the prism. However, since there's only one wavelength, the green light will maintain its color and direction as it passes through the prism. Therefore, there shouldn't be any change in color from green to red or back again. If there is such an apparent change, it might be due to optical effects, imperfections in the prism, or some other factor not related to dispersion.
