Another Puerto Escondido surfing episode thanks to Maria Fernanda! Big wave surfing at Playa Zicatela is great entertainment. Watch the best highlights from a special summer day at the Mexican Pipeline on May 28, 2023. We recommend watching in 4K on your smart tv.
The Surfline report for this morning called for 20 to 25 feet with occasional 30-foot sets. Perfect A-Frames made for some triple overhead barrels and wipeouts. The water quality looked great with vibrant green and blue colors.
Overall the May 17, 2023 swell seemed bigger. However, the conditions on May 28, 2023, were historic and several epic big wave barrels were made.

Not a day I’d paddle out. This is next level gnarly fwiw. Was down there 20 years ago when it was big. Never, ever, been more scared in my life than getting caught inside on a decent set at Zicatela beach. Pure frucken terror 😂 these guys are animals

When Puerto on it’s on and in my opinion there’s no place better o surf especially when it gets size like this, and whoever filmed this great job better than 99% of these pros videos they talk for 20 mins show off there wannabe fake ass Barbie gfs then you might get 7 or 8 mins of surfing if your lucky and god forbid if they skinned there foot on a reef then you might get 4 mins of surfing great job once again finally a channel with nothing but surfing.
