Go with your instinct! The best part about any older home in that location is that you can always renovate and sell for a profit in the future!

I feel like it was the nautical house by the water! The kitchen was great but it looked like it would easy fixes like counters, fixtures, paint etc! Maybe a new railing 😂

House hunting is such a mentally and emotionally challenging time! Having gone through the process in late 2021, early 2022 and experienced bidding wars, try to be realistic with your max and stay firm on that. My boyfriend and I were able to get our offer accepted in a bidding war situation by offering other positives aside from money: quick closing & not asking for contingencies other than inspection and appraisal, etc. wishing you both all the best of luck! House hunting is stressful but try to enjoy this time as much as possible!

You’ll find that buyers remorse is least likely to happen in home buying. It’s an investment and a place to live. Your first house doesn’t have to be everything you want it to be. Honestly, you won’t even know what you really like in a home or don’t until you live in it and find your pain points. You’re right that you can change everything except the location of the house. Definitely keep that in mind! But don’t sleep on putting an offer in, you’ll make it harder for yourself with other active buyers coming in. It’s a big purchase and you’ll maintain and grow the value in it. My boyfriend and I built a home and then started working from home during the pandemic and learned that our needs changed and wanted more space. We sold it and made money on it a year after owning it and found a new home (in the same neighborhood lol) that suits us much better. No harm done! So don’t feel like buying a house is an end all be all thing! Relieve yourself from that pressure because it’s okay to realize you want something different later

Yay! They were all beautiful. But you better hurry. Waiting for max’s family and banks and other things, you’ll lose it. We put an offer in on our home after seeing it all on FaceTime bc 6 more people were waiting to see it and ready to make offers.
hoping you find something soon! but I would ask your realtor to do an escalation clause if you do submit any offers. that way if someone else offers more $ your offer will increase over theirs (to a certain limit that you set)
Honestly if you have that feeling of loving the house even if it isn’t exactly what you thought you wanted it is the one! When I bought my house it had so many dated things but for some reason right when I walked in I just knew it was my house! You can always update flooring, bathroom and kitchen features!
I love that Brody and our golden have that in common. They listen so well off leash but attach a leash and he turns into a sled dog trying to pull us everywhere 😂😂
I don’t remember which house it was but I hope you end up with the one you loved the most… which to me seemed like the one that was more like a summer home and that you could picture yourself living there

Remodeling is a lot of mess and challenging when you work from home with noise etc. If you get a house, I would try to do as much as you can before you move in. Are you picking the three-level house?

Housing hunting is so hard. I haven’t started putting offers but like looking at the market it’s just crazy. I like all of them and they all suit you. Maybe the last one you showed since you said you imagined people being in there.
