    It's like watching myself trying to build something, only with less swearing. Murphy's Law every time!

    Pretty incredible. Looks like it's going to be huge. Wondering where you are going to display it.

    Great work! I've been holding off attaching the trumpets to the gearbox cooling ducts until you confirmed they would fit okay within the frame. I'm just about to take the plunge with the wiring and framework. Wish me luck.

    Amazing ! I I struggled with the plug wiring and replaced that . I was waiting for the frame build and my build is no at your stage. Will you fill the screw holes in the frame, to have a clean frame . The frame on the real thing was filled with Nitrogen to monitor cracks.. Greetings from Norway

      @@NigelsModellingBench Me will do so. About the color on the fiber glass , I used Tamiya XF-60 , but they look to perfect , can a wash with burnt siena oil color help ? to make em look like resin fiberglass ...

      @andrekristoffersen8205 I just unboxed the IXO version 2 days ago... I'm thinking tamiya 'buff yellow' might be good choice for the raw fiberglass... the IXO is basically tamiya xf60 currently and it looks like ww2 German Africa Corps tan.

    Very nice build so far. But imo there are two coils for two distribution’s.

      No, there are two coils for each distributor.

      I,m almost ready with this model I never found the other 2 coils?

      They are at the front of the engine on the firewall. Google images is your friend here. They are part D1 3?

    Broken off tap. I never use a wrench for those small taps but only a drill bit chuck. If the tap hits the end or a an obstacle, it will just slip in the chuck.

      I never use a wrench on the small taps either. I have said this many times in my videos.. on this occasion it just crumbled?? Must have been low quality?

    Er? Shouldn't the front distributor be connected to one of the coils?

    • @NigelsModellingBench
      @NigelsModellingBench  27 днів тому

      No, there are two coils for each distibutor.

      @@NigelsModellingBenchAh! Thank you for clearing that point up. Do Pocher give you another pair of coils?
