- Happy Sunday everyone! since I posted my last Encanto cover i figured it would be so fun to try this one. I had such a fun time recording, considering it's one my favorite songs ever from the movie. Hope you all enjoy and I hope you have a great week!

Encanto set such a high bar with music that 90% of covers do nothing for me (recovering theatre kid/vocalist.) You consistently come out with versions that are able to match the levels of talent and emotion that elevate it so much in the first place plus you're cute as a button doing it. I don't pay super close attention to when my favorite bands of years put out new videos because I am a little old lady in the body of a 27 year old but I have to play yours the moment I see them pop up.
this is such an honor to hear because as someone who’s also been a theater kid, the energy and emotion is something i looove about this song so i wanted to bring that out as best as i could! Encanto’s soundtrack freaking stellar. i appreciate you sm! ❤️🙏🏼

that’s a good observation! i tend to touch up my studio covers with a bit of pitch correction but i keep them mostly natural since it’s not really needed. so i might have to take this as a compliment! haha
