As sullyoon said they did the filming during dice promotions so everything is planned, that's why maybe they re-do everything after jinni left. The girls really worked hard for this comeback so let's all appreciate and enjoy it.
Album of the year candidate for me! I haven't stopped listening to this record since its release.
All the white background scenes were filler scenes that they had to reshoot. They already shot the MV with Jinni. So all the scenes with her, they couldn’t use. And the dance formations also changed. For the reshoot they used less budget, which is unfortunate but understandable. Love the NMIXX reactions. Manifesting their first win 💙🐬

I was even more surprised when I learnt My Gosh is a fan song! My favorite song and it's on replay for like dozens of times.
lmlt mv isn't as high quality as their other mvs probably because they had to refilm after jinni left. I'm thinking the yds mv was filmed after she left and not before, so there wasn't any budget gap
you can see in the last chorus they show different outfits and lily has the blond hair from the dice era. if im not wrong, sullyoon said they recorded the mv right after dice and they had to re-record after jinni left
It saddens me whenever I think about how NMIXX had to re-do most of their choreos, songs recordings after Jinni left. Not to mention they were busy with year end-performances at that time, so they must've worked extra hard to cover Jinni's spot 🥲 That's why I wish nothing but success for them, after everything they've been through.
The red velvet comparision is something I have been thinking about a LOT and I think Nmixx will be like the 4th gen's RV in the long run, very well known, standout vocals - not as famous as a Twice or BP but Nmixx will definately have a hardcore fanbase dedicated to their quirky sound. Just my 2 cents though!

I would bet you a million pounds, that the reason YDS has so many rap parts for Jiwoo, is that a lot of them were made for Jinni instead. and that made me so sad when I first thought about it cuz I want to know so desperately what she would have sounded like on it.
Apparently the members have even said that they started working on expergo in Dice era, and it would make sense that it was Kyu and Jiwoo (the rap line) that had to record on seperate days in the YDS recording video, perhaps it was because they had to rerecord instead - but that's just me speculating.
I can't speak English, so I don't understand what he's saying, but it's so fun to see his reaction. 😂

I can see that too that they might have changed the title track based on the mv and on LMLT the white background took most of the mv, I personally like young dumb stupid more than LMLT and to me YDS sounds more like a title track and LMLT a bside from Nmixx sound. Regardless Love both songs and the whole album, Solid tracks 💙
Mando really enjoy when you are always grooving to the b side tracks from kpop Groups because you know how to appreciate the vocals and adlibs
