सन्निन्दासति नामवैभवकथा श्रीशेशयोर्भेदधी:
अश्रद्धाश्रुतिशास्त्रदैशिकगिरां नाम्र्यर्थवादभ्रम:
नामास्तीति निषिद्धवृत्तिविहितत्यागौ च धर्मान्तरै:साम्यं नामजपे शिवस्य च हरेर्नामापराधा दश॥
These are the shlokas from Padma Purana about the 10 aparadhas of nama.
1. Sat ki ninda. Sat means Truth, god, guru, saints, sant purusho ki ninda. Criticism of these.
2. Glorifying the name in front of non-believers/wicked people
3. Thinking Vishnu and shiva as different
4. No faith in shruti and vedas
5. No faith in the shastra like smriti, puranas etc
6. No faith in guru vakya
7. Thinking that merely taking the name how can one be free from sins and cycle of birth and death?
8. We can do sins or nishiddha karma because naam will destroy these sins.
9. What is vihita karma like sandhya, pooja etc one leaves since naam is there.
10. Comparing with some other dharmas and saying that dana, upvas, yatra, ganga snan etc will also give same result as nama.
