This anime is IN A LEAGUE by itself. Even the "slow" moments are shockingly good. The characters are extremely believable, nuanced, impactfully and well developed. THEM ALONE, can carry the story if nothing else worked. I never imagined in my life that I'd be enjoying watching Farming simulation but this anime CHANGED my mind. _This,_ and Frieren, are what we called Genre Defining Anime. Anime that are SO GOOD, we give them a "New Tier."

I've said this in the other intro, but the intro songs matching the mental state of the Protagonist as the story progresses should not be ignored.

I think this show did a good job showing how cruel and brutal the Vikings were. Alot of people see them as cool warriors who fought honorably but have no idea about the looting and pillaging that they did. Im glad this show didn't hold back and didn't portray the main characters as all good honorable people.

seeing Thorfin in this opening makes me feel sad for him, when I started with this Anime I was mearly watching through the lenses of shonen anime tropes were you are rooting for the protag to achieve his goals, but coming back from season 2 this just makes you feel for the guy who was trapped in a cycle of hatred, a broken soul.
Watching this brightened my day my life changed after watching this anime how the author changes the story plot from action fighting to more of thorthinn character development is truely what only the boldest and most confident authors can only do I believe this makes him the best author

I started to watch this series on 2022. I think it was a great decision i make to give this series a chance. The action, the story, and most importantly the journey are the things that make me hooked to the series.
Someday i'll watch the Season 2 when i had the chance.
