It is not about NPP but we are failing to understand politics in this country. When NDC is in power the EC was an angel to them but a devil to NPP and same when NPP is in power. This demo is not important since we just finished voters registration and verification. After that the next is vetting so we should allow EC to do the vetting and after that then you will get the copy of the new one then you can challenge it if you still find errors. Our political parties only need power and they don't care about our peace. Youth be wise and go to work.

The voters register, is not thier target. This demonstration is to cause external supporters of Ghana to withhold their support so that the government will not be able to deliver the rest of the works planned for this year.
We are told that each party had a copy of the register, so why don't these parties carry out their own review with their members.

Lets use 2016 as an example.
The NPP wrote to the EC with evidence indicating the number with images showing peoples in the register and in at the same time in Togo's register,meaning they are not Ghanaian. The EC (Shariot Osei) wrote to Togo EC for their register but was refused to be given and reason was that. Their laws doesn't allows that. But NPP was able to get it for the EC because the parties in Togo had it ,like ec use to give Ghana parties. Why cant the ndc use same root?

The Table has now turned,,during Charlotte Osei era,NPP raised similar issue with Voters register and requested for compilation of a new Voter Register or Audit, EC then asked them to provide evidence to prove their case, which they did Anyway. that was when they provided them with people from Togo,s ID ,double registrations etc.then EC chair MRS CH.Osei decided rather to clean the register,NPP was not Happy,NDC were very happy with EC approached and even became spokesperson of EC BY defending them throughout and even went as far saying EC is independent body and cannot be directed by anyone as to what to do at any point in time,,Few days ago EC told NDC to provide them with their findings and stop the DEMO,the problem will be rectify within a week, almost similar to what CH.OSEI told then NPP in the past but NDC said NO ,we will still go on with our Demonstration,,i PERSONALLY think new voter register is way to go IF indeed we want to deal with some the concerns raised by the NDC especially with regards to death STILL been on the register and all that because Ghana no one report death to birth and death Ministry except few

They provided evidence, and it was at the back of that evidence that EC dismissed two of its officials. Also, they provided sample evidence of discrepancies in the register of which the EC admitted during they meet they had. So it is only fair to just have a forensic audit of the register just to give all parties involved the confidence to have a free and fair election. It is just not the best going into an election with too much insecurity. Because for the first time in our history as a country, almost all the top officials of the EC are known NPP patriots. We all just want peace and fair elections.
