Continuity drill, from experience is one of the hardest things in the world ahaha, requires so much thought and a great memory to both stay in step with everyone else and more importantly remember the drill sequence. Well done :D
Wrong, the next rank up is a Corporal in the Regt. Jnr Tech only applied the technical trades. The L/Cpl rank was brought in because the rank of Cpl in the Regt was also the platoon leader, so if they were killed in combat, then the next rank below would become the platoon leader and it was felt that the rank of SAC was too low to be a ’platoon leader’ so the L/Cpl rank was introduced so they could take over and still have seniority of the Regt gunners

When did RAF Regt start wearing the L/Cpl chevron??
The reason the next rank up from SAC was Junior Tech which could not be applied to the regiment, so they adopted the L/Cpl.
