Probably the only tutorial out of the last 8 that I've watched that gave instructions not only on basic dubstep patterns and what they're structured like, but ALSO included instructions for flstudio. Im a beginner, I know nothing about making music, and making dubstep is not intuitive in flstudio or ableton. So thank you, great content!
You kicked off my production journey 5 years ago with your inspiration and teachings. Wanna say I wish you the best on your new Era X. Keep crushing it 💪
*I’ve been messing with making industrial techno but I really want to toss in a few dubstep songs into my album. Or the type of groove/flavor it has. 🎉🎧🏅🏆 Awesome tutorial! Thanks for your time to explain everything too!*
11:46 This is a nice tip. I was usually drawing the side chain on the track volume but this seems more flexible because you can still mix the track volume afterwards. What do you think of drawing side chains vs using a limiter to do it automatically?
Hey X! Sorry to bother, but the download link to your community pack v1 does not seem to work anymore, could you have a look into that? Thanks a ton! ~A satisfied customer.
i still dont understand, when i open my 3xosc. there is no sound or sound really odd , idk how to make it sound like that or where the sound comes from
Im a deathstep producer but wanted to try out tearout, this tutorial seriously helps alot! One thing i noticed, you owned trash 2. Is there any way to still get that plugin without pirating it?.. cause trash 2 was deleted from the og website.
Any tips on writing baselines? Always found writing them difficult because I feel a need to stick to grid, my bass ends up sounding dumb and lifeless, Does anyone stick to midi or find it easier to just bounce to audio and rearranged from there!
_Since nobody answered, I’ll chime in my advice. 🧰 I try to make the bass slightly off. Lay the track but slightly drag it to the right. Only a hair. This helps the percussions bang._
Love the video but there is still a lot of technical jargon you didn't fully explain. I'm sure i'll learn more about it in other videos though! Thanks for the great tutorial :)
depends on your high end in the basses lol. Hes simplifying things immensly here, you would usuall use 2 3xosc (one with sine and one with whitenoise) and then process them together so you have more control over the entire sound
I've been making music for 6 years and counting, and I still watch beginner tutorials. Why? Cause nothing beats revising the basics
facts
💯
FACTS
me too. Why? Cause i still suck ass
it’s all about learning, I feel like no matter how long one has been making music there’s always something you can learn

Most dubstep tutorials never really go this in depth. This is sick!

The sample pack isn't working, it says 404 not found plz help.
I’m late to reply but I had this issue before. Usually, it’s the routing you’ve got. Or, it’s the file type.
@@DielectricFailurethx hopefully it’ll work lol
You don't need this specific sound pack bro just apply the same methods to different samples
I have been subscribed to you for years and still appreciate your content for the people trying to learn to get into making their own music.
