I went to Grenada for the first time earlier this month and really enjoyed being there and looking forward to gong back.
    HOWEVER
if you're a new driver, scared driver, easily intimidated driver--DO NOT, I repeat, do not rent a car to drive yourself around.
Some hills were so steep the rental car had a hard time going up them. Many times I find myself driving on the wrong side of the road because they drive on the left. There are drainage channels that are nearly 2 feet deep and I eventually ran my front tire into one.
I was there for 5 days and saw just 1 traffic light. Other "traffic signs" are painted on the street or other things and you can't really see them.
Some streets are so narrow that only one car can pass AND they should be one way streets but they're not.
The worst part is how native drivers come flying around corners and into oncoming traffic--every corner I came to I either slowed down to 4mph or just stopped because other drivers would come around corners in my lane!!!
There was a landslide and the opposite Lane was blocked, one driver came around the corner completely in my lane and had to swerve to avoid a head on collision. They have ZERO regard for their own safety let alone yours.
Oh and most roads have no barrier to prevent you from going over the edge

Darryl Bass - lol it’s not that bad. I went for the first time Nov 18 and if you know how to drive you’ll be fine. I would recommend that u take CARE! And avoid driving at night if possible because they drive like they own the road and very FAST!

I think driving at night is the safest personally, as u can see the lights approaching u especially on a bend

I agree with you we do have some careless drivers on the road it pisses me off. 'cause all think they're in fast n furious or some stunt driver or something. it's almost 2 decades ago since a kid got knocked over and died from an accident so they were careful for a long time but with the amount of 'assholes' on the road now I really hope that terrible accident don't repeat itself.

@@doopdapps1088 People keep on their brights though making it difficult in the night. At least that was my experience.
