I built this dugout in 10 days.
It's very hard work, but it was worth it.
For construction, I use only dead fallen trees, which I collect in the surrounding forest.

Awesome job! I catch some of these on Tik Tok, and it is amazing the number of people who downgrade them. Calling them faked or they had to have help and so on. I think to myself that we have become way to dependent on making a phone call, or sending a text to a app. to have things delivered to us, that we have forgotten how to actually survive. Especially here in the U.S. where a majority of the people are overweight and complacent in sitting at home and ordering to be delivered. If something were to go terribly wrong, these are the ones who will be begging for help. Videos like these plant seeds of ideas of how to survive, and maybe this is what we should be teaching our children.

While what you said is true, there are many fakes out there that are worsening the reputation of builders like this guy, and others who spend lots of time and effort on these projects. While the fakes use excavators and leave the shelter to rot when they’re done.
