This is it. I just screwed the fan into the Shed wall over the gable vent, popped a hole through the wall for the wires and mounted the panel on the roof. Th panel mount could be as simple as direct to the roof but it did the frame mount from the side to stay away from holes in the shingles. That could have been done with wood as well.
Shed has same gable vent at other end but no fan. Heat has been reduced a bunch with the setup, however l believe the added soffit vents helped with convection air flow too.

Was thinking about doing the same in my shed do you have one at both gables? Or would one be enough and a regular vent on the opposite gable
