PT! That was the Greatest Sermon I EVER DID HEAR!
We moved last year. Before the Lord gave us the house we are in and love the house and location, we went through a “lot” of houses! When you talk about the environment, one house stands out in my mind. Just walking in the door, before seeing anything, I got a eerie feeling. When we left, my husband said, “this is not for us.” He felt it too. We don’t know what was going on in that house, but you could “feel” something wasn’t right. An evil feeling….and we got out quickly.
I also want to tell you Pastor Troy, that I NOTICE how you dress. I’ve seen you upgrade, even in the past year. And I GET that dressing nice can be almost painful at times. I have really nice clothes. When I leave the house I look great. But I am feeling convicted to begin to look better at home. It is my “castle” and I don’t feel well often. So I sometimes feel just getting out of bed is the hurdle. But I need to step it up. So thank you. For reminding me to set a higher bar. I KNOW it matters. I have experienced it many times. I have to care. Thank you.
Excellent teaching!! You are the first pastor that I have heard teach this concept of good and bad environments etc etc. You are very detailed in explaining. My family thinks I am crazy cuz I understand all of this. Thank you!!
