Does it really have a dual camera? Could you try activating the dual camera option and cover either lenses. I have found out that this phone only has 1 camera

vickgeek ji I have installed gcam ( GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.1.apk) in my mobile Mi A1. successfully installed but data wiped out. I have some confusion in gcam settings. just like above video( stock cam) pls make a video for the Gcam also.
In Gcam front cam, portrait mode not getting good photos. I feel portrait mode for higher Mega Pixel not for Lower? pls clarify
Hi, unfortunately I don't have the Mi A1 at the moment. So, I cannot really test and make a video about GCam mod. However, because I have been testing it on my OnePlus6, I can tell you this, since the mod is developed by third party individuals, the app has no finesse in itself. It won't be polished and perfectly working. So, the bugs always remain. The same goes for front cam, the image size (mega pixel) can be set to higher or lower provided the developer has properly modded with all features enabled from the Pixel 2 camera. Anyways now that you said GCam is available for MiA1, even I am eager to test it out. I will try to get hold of Mi A1 and make a video about it 😊
