Dear John ran for four seasons that’s a decent run. One of the actors commented on the UA-cam clip of the show and said moving it, not after shears anymore hurt the show. The first show they tried after she was a really weird show. Kind of like soap called grande. That ran for 2 half seasons, and then got canceled. Wings was in moved to the times slot and did pretty well. NBC experimented where to move dear John and court before finally, moving dear John to Friday night, which was its death nail although season four really wasn’t that good so I think the show would’ve been canceled no matter where it was placed
