Trying to understand YG and them not giving Jennie rap lines that she had to write her own raps in LSG and Solo remix, a 40 second one at that, the longest in her entire career in Blackpink is taxing to say the least. It’s difficult to fathom and swallow how they’re holding back her potential when she is this talented. It’s really painful because we know how she was on fire when she did D4 and she’s way more capable of doing more. Just thinking that Jisoo said that Jennie loves to rap to Outsider’s Loner makes my heart bleed.
They’re trying to break Jennie to be compliant to their will but they must have realized by now that her personality and character makes her naturally gravitate to people that’s it’s an exercise in futility. Her aura is very likeable and is easy to adore. Even the small things she does is impactful and leaves a mark. The fact that she has and will always be the one to speak in behalf of their group must have ended up as unfavorable in the eyes of the higher ups. She isn’t the YG princess at all. It’s only a matter of time before the end of the line. We can see it brewing, all that calmness and patience just staying afloat. She even said in their documentary “I used to sing dark and strong songs. I wonder what I am doing now.” Suppressing her will only lead her to become stronger, fiercer and more powerful. They won’t be able to hold her back no matter how hard they try so they’re keeping her and her skills in the dungeon as long as they can.
I really want jennie to do some dark concept songs. I know it would be hard for some people to digest the fact that all female idols always have to act cute and innocent. But it would really show off jennie's skills and aura

Jennie is such a lyrical genius. Breathing life to a 2 year old song by making a 40 second rap verse that represented what she has gone through, what she’s experiencing at the present, and her plans for the future. I can’t wait for her to release a JNK1 album.
