Most jaw-dropping X-Games event I think I've ever seen.
Mind was absolutely blown over and over again in this competition. Feel like they needed to hand out 4 or 5 gold medals for this one.
man that was the craziest bmx best trick. honestly how do you chose between the top 3 and even andy buckworths 2 combo double flip is technical and gnarly, Jai tooheys nothing front bike flip to whip is ridiculous to do strength wise. the body vareal 360/720 thing was nuts probably the craziest one for me as i’ve never seen it before, Kadens 1440 was ball to the wall and was so corked out and rwilly is the goat! would hate to judge this as all 5 deserve the gold depending what aspect you look at

This contest was absolutely savage. I can’t even imagine what kind of training guys go through do all these tricks. Definitely not the same since Pat passed away it’s a shame not to see him go out there and throw it all down. But I will definitely be missed, and we got lots of UA-cam videos to watch of him and remembering

This was a contest for the ages. I've been kind of jaded with BMX barspin/tailwhip spam the last several years so it's good to see people innovating some wild and actually creative tricks

The jumps were amazing for this contest. All different, but all huge and providing perfect opportunities to do enormous, never been done tricks. This has been one of the best X Games ever, without a doubt. It should always be in CA!
Just want to say, thank you X-games. This is the single best BMX comp I've had the pleasure to witness. If X-games didn't begin promoting action sports with Matt Hoffman and Tony Hawk leading the sport, we'd never have had this spectacle. Great riding from every single competitor. Rip Pat.

Single best comp of the weekend. Throwing my hands up in my living room at every single trick. They're not to the level that they're doing tricks you CAN'T do in video games. Ryan Williams is a class act. Everyone threw down and props to Kaden on his first ever X Games Medal.
ive been watching x games since i was a kid back when nasty was trying to do double back flips on dirt. the tricks they do now are crazy compared to what used to be possible. true evolution of the sport.

This was the most insane best trick I've ever seen. That 1440 I screamed "WHOOOOOOO!" And my wife asked if I was ok. XD the tension is crazy high. Such massive tricks and margine of error is razor thin on them. Every rider here deserves so much credit. Sandoval was crazy good, as always. Rwilly brought it, as always. Godziek was savage, as always. Varga was dialed, as always. Toohey went massive, as always. Buckworth consistently incredible, as alwqys. But that 1440.....something else. And then godziek just dropped the hammer with the 3 body varial. Then buckworth with the dub flip turndown to nohander. Im at a loss....

Brady's trick was definitely NOT a cash roll double whip. He didn't invert at all, super flat, that was a 720 double whip which is still extremely sick.

The level here is unbelievable
This was the best contest of any form I have ever seen. What a rediculous amount of quality in one session. I'm sure most of these guys were thinking they had gold in their hands when landing their tricks, only to find out they are off the podium.
"a 1440 was one impossible on a bmx" heck, It wasn't that long ago that a 1080 was thought to be impossible! Maddness!!!
I'm calling Brady's first trick a 720 double tailwhip. We're conflating an off axis 720 and a cash roll, a true 360 front flip. Just like we've conflated 360 down whips and decades. They're not the same things.
