I totally relate to the disillusionment I faced when I graduated college and started my career in the corporate world. I'm closing in on celebrating 3 years of freedom from that mess, and last year's earnings slightly topped what I used to make while I was shackled to a desk. This year I'll be building a niche site to add to my income streams and looking forward to all the possibilities this lifestyle now affords me. Thanks to inspiration from Sean, Liz, and the Location Rebel community, I was able to quit my job within a year and pursue other career opportunities. Previous employers are now my freelance clients, and I'm building some side businesses as well. Thanks for all you guys do!
Great backstory. Fantastic video! You learned by doing. And that's the top advice out there. Of course, you wouldn't recommend the initial grind to a family man or woman... it's best to start young, then put in the time to excel at your craft. I really dig your enthusiasm Sean. And congrats on a successful life at marketing!
