I’m a Luton fan and I think you were to generous giving Nathan Jones a B , ppl forget our rly bad start to the season we’re we didn’t win in like 4 or 5 and only scored one goal in that time and we were second bottom with Coventry below us but they had games in hand and then even after that we were rly inconsistent we lost and drew most our games and I think we had a couple wins which makes him look better but we wouldn’t have finished in the playoffs let alone 3rd with Nathan and we couldn’t keep a clean sheet at all, like loosing 4-0 to Watford , throwing away our lead in the last 10 mins to Wigan to loose the game games like that stick out, Southampton taking him has done us a favour bc I don’t think we’d have sacked him easily
Huddersfield fan. Schofield: Promoted to head coach way too early thanks to Carlos jumping ship. We were bloody awful under him, but he was kind of handed a sh!t sandwich. E Fotheringham: Was just as unsuitable for the role as Schofield, but doesn’t have the excuse of being promoted from within. This clown went through a recruitment process and then slowly sapped what little belief remained out of our young players. I can only imagine his interview with Bromby was like Spud in Trainspotting... except somehow Bromby gave him the job! Somehow he fluked a few wins, but that was luck rather than judgement. Sent Thomas to Blackburn when what he needed was a bollocking followed by a hug from someone like Neil Warnock! I don’t care if you worked at Hertha Berlin, you get an F Warnock: This man is an absolute legend and genius. After Schofield and Spud, we were basically done... Until Sir Neil Warnock returned and managed to reunite the fans with the team/club. The takeover being announced helped of course, but if the season had started when Warnock took over we'd be in the top six. Some say he's a dinosaur, I say he's a wise old general. A*
Agree and why hasn't Neill got at least an OBE, when you look at some other recipients of honours. Emma Raducanu got an MBE for winning one tennis title, and has since done nothing, a one hit wonder. But other sporting stars win lots of things but get no recognition
It should also be noted that Heckingbottom managed to get the Blades automatically promoted whilst having to work under a transfer embargo for nearly half the season. That meant he was unable to bring anyone in during the January window despite having a dire injury list.
Crazy just how many managers the Championship has seen this season, 42 is insane when you think about it! For Cardiff I'd say: Morison: C/D - had us playing some good football as the start of the season and were getting results, was unfairly sacked even if we had just lost to what was a poor Huddersfield side, we've not had the best record up there, plus with our best player up to that point in JC doing his ACL so early on didn't help his cause, if he was given a bit more time I think we would've finished a bit higher up the table Hudson: E - the wrong appointment at the wrong time, once again the board chose the cheap option and it just seemed to go from bad to worse under Hudson desppite the slight manager bounce early on to not win a game in 2 months is shocking even if most of the results were draws Whitehead: F - love the guy but lost the 2 games he was in charge for so can't give him any other rating Lamouchi: B - the results have not been great but we've been playing better and had a tough run of games, but we beat most of the teams around us which kept us safe, plus he inherited a disjointed Morison side and had our top scorer in the 1st half of the season injured, I hope he signs a new deal as I have faith that if he can get some good free loans and transfers in and keep injury free we can avoid a relegation fight next season
Liam Rosenior definitely well rated, for all the investment we've played with our league one defence & no strikers for the most part. Shota couldn't get a tune out of them shows what decent coach can do & how the players brought in weren't the right ones. Only one I really disagree with is Neil at Stoke, I'd move him way further down 😂
I think leam Richardson was really unlucky nearer the end of his tenure and should of been given more time. Especially when he had been given an extension a few weeks before being sacked
I still think that with Steve Morison we would have comfortably stayed up imo. We were playing a lot better, just couldn’t score. He had like 2 games with Callum Robinson who he bought in 🤷♂️
For Wigan: Richardson I’ll give a D. Toure an F, and Maloney a B-. Special mention to Vincent Kompany, Rob Edwards at Luton, and Mick McCarthey, for giving us that meme from the press conference if not for anything else
I think you're probably right on our (WBA) managers. I agree Bruce was a disaster, and as he made no impact I don't know why we gave him this season. On Corberan I think B tier is probably fair, he did a great job keeping us up, and giving us a chance, however our away form did hinder us at times. That being said he's a fantastic manager, that's given us fans some hope for next season despite our financial worries.
JDT should be top tier. Quarter finalists alongside kompany with a significant budget and similar rebuild. Top 6 most of the season and lost out due to a lack of goals yet we were outperforming most teams in the last 10 just no end product.
JDT shouldn't be anywhere near top tier. Nothing significant has changed at Blackburn. Same old, same old. Lurk around the playoffs all season and ultimately miss out. His playing style is abysmal awsell. He's seems like a decent bloke though....
Beale: was fantastic but fucked us over B Critchely: don’t think it was his fault but still an E Ainsworth: We survived but it wasn’t fantastic and we were only ‘safe’ by a few points cause of readings deduction, D
Even though they hammered us you can't give Neil a B for their results at Stoke, they've been woeful and all the fans want him sacked. Made a horrendous decision to leave us and then made a team even worse when joining them. Been a D year for Neil.
Nigel Pearson in at C a pretty fair result.. People must bear in mind Bcfc have had best part of 10 yrs of mediocre signings. This dead wood has held us back for years.. N.P. Almost got rid of it.. THEN next season we can punch on.. Big amount of kudos for our board they knew it was a 3/4 yr job to get the dead wood out..
Wilder is a surprise, I know he's still a good manager but he has one or two really toxic attributes and these are really letting him down now. He needs to sort these out, the way he falls out with some players is bizarre and publicly blasting them does not work.
Ince needs his own tier at the bottom. Hunt did the best he could in all honesty, no one was keeping that squad, in that position, post-Ince, up with 5 games left.
As a Millwall fan I think rowett is maybe a low b high c purely because of the teams he puts out he fails to realise we play good football with shit players and keeps everything the same , George long and Danny Mac should not have played as many games as they did
steve morrison?????are you kidding me? got rid of all our long throwers & forgot to bring in a centre forward or dead ball expert. we could nt score goals. we couldnt pass forward. our worst manager ever, not even ole gunnar solskar was that bad!!!
Paul Warne - A Would've finished in the playoffs based on the ppg of his time in charge. Gave rotherham united an identity and set the tone for what could've been a fantastic season for us. Matt Taylor - E Not helped by injuries, but had he taken charge at the start of the season we'd have finished dead last. Only in E not F since we did actually stay up.
This is a truly awful take. While we got some good results under Warne at the start of the season, we were still only three points off of the relegation zone when he left, and that is ignoring the fact that teams like West Brom, Boro Coventry and Luton started slow and were below us at that point, and the inevitable end of season collapse that happens every time under Warne's management due to him running the players into the ground. Taylor inherited someone else's squad, one low on morale after being dumped by their long-serving manager, and after a rough start managed to keep us up - something Warne failed to do in three attempts. Taylor has done a fantastic job so far and if he can get his own men in over the summer I think we will have a real opportunity to solidify our place as a Championship club.
@@UNGABUNGA375 Truly unpopular, but not truly awful. Almost all Rotherham fans seem to believe ogbene and insha'Allah wins the league, and that Matt Taylor's tactics are up there with pep guardiola. He plays ogbene on the wing where he consistently gets crowded out, to no fault of his own, and refuses to recognise it's happening. He makes like for like subs 15 minutes later than they should be made, has no plan b when things start to go wrong (warney didn't either, but that doesn't benefit Taylor) and for some reason prefers Tarique Fosu who has lost the ball in the middle third more times than I've breathed this season over an Odoffin that's having the season of his life. He's a great guy and worked well with Exeter City, as he had a setup there that benefitted his style of play. If you're unable to see we've lost our identity this season because of him, I'm sorry but an annual membership to Specsavers is needed.
Only redeeming thing was the insane form at the start of the season, if this ranking were made before the WC ince would've been an A or higher!! Agree that he was sacked way too late, was terrible to his players in those press conferences, and that morale can't have helped the relegation scrap :(
Ince was awful yes but the odds were pretty stacked against him if we are being Honest. Shit depleted Squad and a 6 point deduction. We saw when Ince was sacked the results did not improve.
You are joking right? How many of those players had you heard of before this season. He identified their potential, convinced them to sign, knit an almost entirely new squad together, playing a completely different style, and blew the rest of the league away!
20 of those are Watford
I laughed hard at this😂

Neil Warnock Rob Edwards Vincent Kompany my top three managers

All Neil Warnock management spells ranked
as a blackpool fan Stephen dobbie as our interim was so good we all want him permanent as hes loved from his past at the seasiders
I'm here for the Fotheringham roast...
And the Warnock love!
Ranking all 42 Watford Managers from worst to best!
Great video, nice to see championship content you should do ranking championship talents that aren't on Loan
I agree with the cardiff but us putting hudson in charge was ridiculous when he had no experience.
Hecky 👍

Yes
Hull have had the weird season squad absolute decimated with injuries always having to chop and change ..but do have quality!

Manager of the season, Neil Warnock hands down.
Definitely
Vincent Kompany exists uno 🤔
@@footballfanar9717 Kompany's been class but what Warnock did was unreal. Huddersfield were 1/33 to go down when he came in.

Surely has to be Warnock, just look at the numbers rather who your favourite is.
For Sunderland I would’ve said Neil as a B and Mowbray as an A it’s been a great season for us
Even though they hammered us you can't give Neil a B for their results at Stoke, they've been woeful and all the fans want him sacked. Made a horrendous decision to leave us and then made a team even worse when joining them. Been a D year for Neil.
Well I was just basing it on his time at Sunderland if him being honest
For Nigel Pearson at Bristol City i would say before January it's a D and after January it's probably a C+ so i give him a C
NJ D rob edwards with luton is A if u consider his entire time in the championship then a B/C
Was sacked Harshly By Watford should have gotten more time.
Fotheringham = F
Nigel Pearson in at C a pretty fair result..

Steve Morison - D
Mark Hudson - F
Sabri Lamouchi - B
Mark Fotheringham in E😂, also Warnock deserves his own tier
Fotheringham needs his own tier aswell 😂
He fluked a few wins, but i reckon we'd have been no worse off if we'd stuck with Schofield until Sir Neil took the reins
I’d give Lowe a B nobody expect PNE to push for top 6 most of the year
Ince needs his own tier at the bottom. Hunt did the best he could in all honesty, no one was keeping that squad, in that position, post-Ince, up with 5 games left.
I mean Ince was shit but that 6 point deduction really killed Reading nobody could keep them up at that.
You need an A* category for Kompany
...and a U (for useless) category for Mark "Buzz McLightyear" Fotheringham.
Sir Neil Warnock joins Kompany in the A*
Gareth Ainsworth is the greatest manager to ever grace the planet, up the R's
Shota - E
Liam - C
From worst to best, then starts with Kompany 😂
Am I wrong suggesting you have been a bit "doubtful" about Tony Mowbrey in the past? I join you in that to be honest.
Great concept actually. i enjoyed the time watching.
Martin should be in the A tier
As a doncaster fan i can confirm that schofield is an F tier manager. Seems like a nice bloke but an absolutely shocking manager.
You've got another one now, again 🤦
both Norwich Mangers E for me 🔰❌❌
Dean Smith did a better job than David Wagner imo
Paul Ince < Noel Hunt
Dean Smith wasn't a Norwich type of manager it was never gonna work
Thank goodness you got rid of that terrible music at the end
Gift for Ben and fans, as usually for drink and food:

Schofield sacked by Doncaster as well.
Alex Neil a C only if that is the start of what he is…..a greedy C 😂
E for Ince, C for Hunt

Ainsworth in the C tier is controversial. Won 3 and lost 8 of his 13 games.
So that's a 23% win record.... Pretty garbage
That Haka video was distilled cringe
0.85 points per game is shit mate with that form all season you are going down. It still 99% thanks to Beale you are still in the Championship.

Mclightgear above Schofield? Utter joke
Ainsworth and Eustace way too high
ince had reading playing some of the worst football i’ve watched, anything higher than E is too kind
Dean and David should be in F tier they both failed a job at the club both definitely the worst coach in the championship
Ince a certi F, worst gaffer in our history
Ince being anything other than F is a god awful take
