In this video I have shared why I bought Triumph Speed 400 over Harley Davidson x440, KTM Duke 390 and Bajaj Dominar 400. These reason are based on my observations and assessment and therefore I do not expect them to be in full alignment of all the people. I would suggest you to see and test ride the bikes which will help you understand which one fulfills your requirements.

Nice comparison between the 4 except scrambler 400
I Bought the speed 400, should i do a 300km trip before or after first service. I have travelled around 300km till now
Hi Karthik, congratulations for an amazing machine.
Complete 700kms/1month and then service few kms plus or minus is ok. After that fee to ride.
@@Jatinsharmafamily should I keep the rpm under 5000 before the first service.....got a suggestion to do the same.
@KarthikGRisKGR I think one should follow the run in period instruction from manufacturer.
I did 1200kms before first service and did some office runs of daily 100-110kms in a day for consecutive 2-3 days. Kept the bike under 6000rpm (so difficult to control your emotions)
I never felt that bike needs a service. Such is the quality of this Triumph TR series engine hatt of to them.
Recently did Delhi to Lucknow - 1200kms within 36 hours, oh man what a complete Highway machin this is.
Bike is very stable while crusing 100 to 130kmph.
Mileage i got approx to 28-30
No heating issues
Mirrors are blurry beyond 120
Only issue is wind blast, since i was wearing riders jacket so it is manageable.
No pain on back, bums and shoulders thanks to good quality seats and perfect suspension setup, best in segment (after BMW gs310)
Even if you remove the Price point this bike is still the best option in 2-3 lakhs category among its competitors

Hey Hi Jatin, why not Scrambler 400
It is for my brother who is 5.5” and he needed it for most of his city rides. Therefore it was more optimum to go with speed400 over 400x. However 400x is really good for the money it comes.
