His tears were about being found out, embarrassment and guilt about his parents having to hear about his awful behaviour. He’s not quite the perfect blue eyed boy in his parents eyes and that is enough to make him emotional. His self control and repetitive interruptions demonstrates him being quick to anger and refusal to answer important questions are not what you want in a Supreme Court judge. Sorry you just don’t have what it takes for a life time appointment judge. Move on and choose another nominee.......simple
your comment did not stand up to time, i hope you see now that he was crapped on for nothing more than politics. he was right, it was just about "vendetta".
Wow, the lack of humility in this guy! I can understand the outrage (real or fake, it really doesn't matter), but if any one of us screamed on a job interview how this position is ours and how dare you interview us, we'd be thrown out of the building.
The man needs to be placed in rehab, not on the Supreme Court. Then he will find HIS TRUTH. SOOOOO disrespectful. Only a drunk gets that way, and you could see it on his face.
Dicky Jones The lie detector didn't think so. She's also willing to talk to the FBI. Brave Kavanaugh should be demanding both a polygraph test AND and FBI investigation to clear his name, but, he's not. Hmmm.......
Watching this during the week of the hearing for KBJ - a lady with grace, dignity and poise. Look at his screwed up face, filled with contempt and hatred...hideous.
Just coming into the hearings and not knowing very much about Kavanaugh, the temperament was an immediate red flag for me. I need my lifetime appointees of the judicial branch of our government to be SOBER and MEASURED, even in the heat of a firestorm.
He and his family have been threatened and completely dragged through the mud - all through the words of a few organised women. The big issue is, where is the proof? Does proof no longer matter? Is it only the words of a single woman, with unsubstantiated claims, that can win through in America and the civilised world now?
@@yuhisarhim There's not going to be mathematical proof or a videotape. What we have is some testimony - from both sides - and the question is whether senators consider this _enough evidence_ to vote No. It's a question of whether this counts as evidence or not. You say No; fine. Others would disagree with you, and to discount it as even being admissible as _possible_ evidence is incorrect.
Is this guy for real? He is so belligerent during the interview...I guess I can imagine that it WOULD be much worse if he were drinking. I certainly hope that he does not get a lifetime appointment to the US supreme court! There are much better, more even keeled people to vote in for sure! There's no way this is the best Republicans can do....
Depends on what the actual defining characteristics of good Republicans are. We tend to assume as self-evident that those are all positive character traits. But does that need to be the case? The Nazi party was initially widely thought of as a most respectable party. A few years later, even the term "good GERMAN" was considered to be an oxymoron. I'm sure it's not anywhere as bad as that, of course, but just mentioning to illustrate the general idea.
He is hysterical. Bad temperament and poor behavior. Hold it together. Google “boofing” it doesn’t mean “flatulence” as he claims. He is lying. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that perhaps he truly doesn’t believe his behavior to be assault but the longer this goes on and his antics are shifting my opinion.
bork bôrk/Submit verbINFORMAL•US gerund or present participle: borking; gerund or present participle: Borking obstruct (someone, especially a candidate for public office) through systematic defamation or vilification. "“We're going to bork him,” said an opponent"
OMG, I am as old as Kavanaugh. We (my college friends) used the same term for flatulance. You are just a mean faced feminist who cannot handle the truth. You are still hurting from the Trump 2016 win. I feel so sorry for you. Dont believe me? Here is one of many links. www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Boof&page=27 Just to let you know, google may not give you the answers you are seaching for because Google wasnt created until the late 90’s while this term was used in the 80’s. But you werent searching for truth, were you. You, just like Ford, would rather believe in a different reality.
He seems as if he may have been under the influence to act as aggressively as he did here. Did anyone bother to check? He's literally ranting and raving like so many of the alcoholics that I've seen in my lifetime.
You know, the FBI guy that got fired for emails, and Agent Comey, BOTH were tightly controlled, terse, professional men who hardly blinked during the toughest part of their congressional interviews. This guy goes off, kind of incoherent, stumbling all over himself to try defending himself while avoiding slipping up and admitting something critical. He gets panicky, and falls back on talking points that (very noticeably) Trump or his cronies have schooled him on: most notably bringing up conspiracy to destroy him, conspiracy to get "revenge" for Hillary Clinton, and anger at Trump for the outcome of the election. Listening to him talk, he sounds too much like a man with something to hide and he's dodging and resisting every motion to investigate. WOW! To confirm this so-called judge as a Supreme Court Judge is so much Republican bulldozing that I'm deeply disturbed about the treasonous behavior of ALL those who sit on the right! It used to be that Republicans weren't a gaggle of red-faced apoplectic fools trying to outshout each other about affrontery and conspiracies and revenge. They were respectable, even if they were on the right. I remember those days very well. They are NOTHING like the chattering monkey-fest of crazy I've seen in these hearings. Think of the women dear to you in life. Those women and girls you cherish, and who you have only love or respect. Now think of a guy like this, who can't speak CATEGORICALLY that he would support an FBI investigation; imagine him assaulting that woman or girl, and then lying about it. Just think about it. Doesn't it seem far too much like the things he's using as defensive statements are EXACTLY the kinds of things you'd expect a guilty man to use? That Beach Ralphing refers to his "sensitive stomach", and that he was never one to "pass out drunk" even though he admits "falling asleep" while drunk?? He made it pretty clear he likes beer, a lot, so it's not all that hard to see him as a liar about his behavior at parties. Can a man learn from his mistakes? Sure. A man can, but not someone who has something he's hiding, something he's ashamed of, in his past. Proper investigation is the way to come to truthful, ethical conclusions, but Kavanaugh is not willing to call for that. Instead, he hides behind the cowards in the Republican party who can't stand the harsh light of truth and evidence. Even the Bar Association is disturbed about his behavior, and they might even step in regarding his license to practice law. Even if they don't it's very worrysome that the Bar Assoc. would be rumbling about one of their own, since it's the reputation of that organization and their sanctioning of someone as a qualified legal professional that's on the line.
Partly, because he's not really a judge - not in the normal sense. He was a political operative for most of his adult life prior to the 'atta-boy' appointment from GW Bush. He was, and we now know from his outbursts IS, a political activist. For years, the GOP talking point has been that here should be 'no activist judges' on SCOTUS. Based on that, alone, his name should be withdrawn. He IS a political activist and an operative who was rewarded with a judicial position for services rendered and has NO business on the court. He does not have a judicious mind, nor a judicial bearing or the appropriate temperament.
I think that he's disqualified himself. What a shocking expose of a loose-cannon! He's unprofessional and angry, because he's been caught out. How on earth did he become an appeal-court judge? Even as a lawyer, he'd be a mob lawyer, so angry and aggressive, rudely interrupting the senators.
What part of, "He was accused of sexual assault a day before his confirmation vote by the committee of a grievous crime that allegedly happened 35 years ago, where the witnesses do not corroborate her story that Feinstein's office has sat on for 6 weeks?" don't you guys understand? "How on earth did he become an appeal-court judge? Even as a lawyer, he'd be a mob lawyer, so angry and aggressive, rudely interrupting the senators." Repeat this question to yourself... Slowly...Might want to take your blue tinted goggles off.
calomie Then why wont he let the fbi investigate her claims. If the claims hadn’t just been ignored when they were made ages ago, the fbi could have checked them out, and if false, none of this would have happened. Would it.
Boy, this guy has a lot of bile in him. And he uses his anger to obfuscate and not answer the question asked. Question: Why do you not want the FBI to investigate. Answer: I wanted to talk to the Republican majority Senate Judicial Committee. It is purposeful anger, invented indignation. His anger strikes me as the tantrum of a poor little rich kid not getting his entitlement when he demands it. This guy has an attitude that is reminiscent of Trump's rich boy petulance.
Answer: The FBI can't investigate something from 35 years ago during his childhood regarding a party nobody remembers because there were so many parties. It's easy to see how events from 35 years ago can get mixed up and confused. If you're going to oppose kavanugh, oppose his policies. Not bring up something from 35 years ago that information was held back on until the last minute when he was about to be confirmed.
his name has been dragged through the mud. how do you8 think he and his family feel? he is not a celebrity, he's not used to being the center of news controversy. so the first time he receives nation wide attention is because of some fake accusation?? id be very emotional too. lefties just cant get over 2016 its sad.
Oh! My God! He does not need to be Supreme Court Judge! He doesn't understand here that he is the one in question, not the senators! He kept interrupting in his pride and arrogance like he can do it and we can't. If that was one of us average citizens interrupting in court we would have been in contempt! Does he subtly believe he is one above the law? That is just my look about it from the outside. You know God Almighty knows who is lying! I don't know...I know I don't like to be falsely accused but I would gladly say yes investigate and clear my name if I was truly innocent. I wonder why he will not do that? Hmmmm!
There is dark money in confirmation & nomination of judges. He was vile back in 1998 regarding Clinton's impeachment, he wanted to ask utterly vulgar questions, because he is vulgar. He has shown that. Plus he is full of crap.
Robert Chall these are not normal times. So he is o.k being uinvestigated 6 times but not if the 7th is about something he is guilty of? Al Franken stepped down with dignity for less, and never said it destroyed his family. www.ncronline.org/news/politics/ncr-today/president-trump-shouldnt-be-nominating-supreme-court-justice "'First of all, proper procedure was not followed in the case of President Obama’s nominee in 2016. With nearly a year left in his presidency, the Republican-controlled Senate refused to give Obama’s nominee a hearing. His nominee, Judge Merrick Garland, was in fact a moderate judge who deserved every consideration. With an election at hand in a few short months, this same Republican Senate seems to have no difficulty in moving ahead with a nominee now that there is a Republican president. I believe the main issue, however, is that this president is under investigation. Several matters are pending in that investigation that could find their way to the Supreme Court for resolution. No one in this country should be able to choose individuals who may find themselves deciding cases that could either exonerate or convict them. Yet it appears President Trump has picked an individual whose positions are favorable to him. Of the four finalists for the position, the candidate he chose seems to be the one most likely to protect him. Bottom line: This president should not select another nominee to the Supreme Court until the Russia investigation is completed. We went more than a year with only eight justices on the court. We can certainly wait until there is a resolution to the current investigation. It is of course possible that Brett Kavanaugh, the president’s nominee, may continue to be the nominee however the investigation is resolved. He may even be the choice of some future Republican president. That is fine, but in the meantime, it should not be tolerated for this president to have a hand in determining the individual who may decide his fate. That in no way represents appropriate American jurisprudence. Finally, if the process moves forward despite these concerns, the nominee must commit to recuse himself from any and all matters that come to the court regarding the Russian investigation. If he is unwilling to make that commitment he should not receive a positive vote from the Senate. The latest indictments emerging from the Special Counsel’s office make clear that the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election is alive and well. The probe is serious and is getting closer to determining what if any role this president and his top campaign officials may have had in election interference. The notion that the president can select his own judge who could squash a subpoena or permit him to pardon himself is unacceptable.
shana wagner u know that we know if he did they would say he is attacking by wanting a fbi They already hate the fact shes at this hearing and there saying shes attacking her by being here
Because the FBI investigation will bring up nothing new? Because the FBI cannot convict people? Because there is not a case to begin with (an accusation alone is not a case)? Because all four witnesses have already come forward and said Ford was lying even her life long friend? Because she can't give a date, time, place or a lick of evidence for the serious crime allegations she is throwing at him? Because she delayed the hearing because she is "scared" of flying but then admits she rides planes all the time for vacations proving she is a liar? Because when somebody accuses someone of a crime, the burden is on them to prove it happened? Because Ford never answered anything except to say, "I don't know"? Because Kavanaugh DID answer everything, had dates and times and calendars for the things he did in that time frame? Because the witnesses back him up? Because dozens of people have come forward and said he wouldn't do this? Because Ford giggles, laughs and smiles during this supposedly traumatic hearing? Because her "polygraph" only had 2 questions which she took on the day of her grandma's funeral and prepared for hours before answering? Because the last FBI investigation has been going on for 2 years with Trump with millions of dollars spent and has gone nowhere? Because the FBI will "investigate" right up until elections so the democrats have a chance to get the majority? Well, take your pick!
Wouldn't you get "triggered" if people tried to keep you from becoming SC-Judge by pushing obviously false claims with no evidence at all to back them up?
M Ha The burden of proof is not on him ffs. The accuser needs to come up with credible evidence that anything happened at all. Which so far has not happened. Innocent until proven guilty is what I'm saying.
Yes it is embarrassing.... and the Demon-rats (Democrats) are entirely responsible. Feinstein sat on the allegation and then leaked it at exactly the time it would do the most political damage. Sen. Hirono won't answer the question if Dems leaked the letter. She won't answer because she knows they did...(She knows when, why and who leaked it). Feinstien also carefully avoided answering the question by looking back at her staff and asking "did we leak? uh uh...they are saying no". I would have asked her again if she personally had any knowledge of the letter or the information contained in the letter being leaked. Ford did not want this. The FBI should investigate that leak. If Ford's attorneys were involved in leaking the letter they should be disbarred for going against the best interest of their client.
Years later and looking back at this recording, I am more convinced now than I was before that this man is a lunatic. I mean the way he speaks is simply despicable. And this is a justice? Wow.
I love your show. You investigate, you obtain documents, you do interviews. You are a better candidate for the supreme court than the yelling, interrupting, angry judge that was on the stand yesterday.
If he acts this way in public, he must be an absolute Prince Charming in private. Pray for his poor family (unless they are as deplorable as he is...they deserve each other).
He's already been investigated by the FBI six times. Here are the facts: 1. There is not one witness that Ford ever even met Kavanaugh. 2. Ford was caught in outright lies during the hearing. 3. Ford's polygraph was only two questions and those questions were not about Kavanaugh.
ekpurdy The FBI did not investigate this specific allegation because they did not know about it. As to your "facts": 1. Not true 2. Not true 3. HOW do you know what Ms. Ford's polygraph consisted of?
The repukeagains want this guy to do their bidding whether he is guilty as sin or not. Lindsey's hemorrhoids must have been activated by some hot sauce.
ekpurdy Actually, no. You are ignoring the fact that witnesses were NOT allowed to give evidence. That’s the whole point, if she is lying, let the fbi SHOW she is lying by checking out her story.
As I watched this video, I still believe Ms. Ford and by the look on Mrs. Kavanaugh's face, she does too ! If Judge Jackson had behaved that way, she may not have made it through, yet he did with no problem!
"Maybe"...more like..."definitely" would not have been appointed...Judge Kentaji Brown-Jackson was a model nominee...totally "respectful"...and still almost didn't make it🤔
Jeremy Backup Why aren’t you talking about the behavior of the Cory Booker. Are you Ok with him called SCOTUS nominee “evil”. Or the behavior of Michael Afucknati printing out bogus and irrational allegations for fame reasons.
Methinks he doth protest toooo much, too long and too loudly. To characterize accusations as "a joke" and "a farce" speaks volumes about how little respect he has for this entire process. Further, asking questions of those conducting the hearing is more evidence of his disrespectfulness. Trying to turn the tables on those asking questions is a defensive coping mechanism. This man still has a drinking problem.
What a whiney little b---h he is. Hysterical, uncontrolled, disrespectful, none of the qualities you want in a judge. If he had a witness like this in front of him, as a judge, I bet he wdn't tolerate it. Just the sort of person Trump* would choose for SCOTUS!
My entire takeaway from all this is that Kavanaugh seemed emotionally unstable. If he does get confirmed he seems like the sort of guy who will be out for revenge.
I was on the fence about Kavanaugh until I saw this performance. You could see the hostility in his eyes. Had he actually answered any of the questions put to him by Dems I'd be more sympathetic to him. And notice how he answered the Democratic senators as opposed to the much more restrained and respectful way he answered questions from the Republicans. This was staged and is probably the product of the nine hours he spent being coached at the White House last weekend. Sadly I think he will get confirmed after all, but I guarantee that the Republicans will feel the wrath of female voters in November as a result.
And you would be so cool, a woman coming up after all those years saying lie after lie, and you would be like no problem, keep drinking the kool aid Democrats !!! You see we’re we are today !!
@@HeavensArcher77 It is not his prerogative for the FBI to do anything. Innocent before proven guilty. Lying under oath is a serious crime. Perjury is serious. He is willing to risk perjury, but no one else is. That is the big deal
He's been snarling like an animal the whole time His facial expressions are really showing he's a liar Sniffing like a coke head ,snarling and constantly putting his tongue in cheek are tells of a liar
Josue Balderas "Innocent until proven guilty" exists in criminal court cases, NOT in job interviews. Brett Kavanaugh is NOT entitled to this SCOTUS position, so it actually IS in his best interest to have the FBI investigate, and find evidence that proves that he did not sexually assault Dr. Ford and the other accusers. That is, of course, if he's innocent. If he's guilty, then I would understand why he wouldn't want an FBI investigation.
You know he's a judge. Do you think hed take someone seriously if they acted the same way he did? Visit a courtroom for once in your life or don't vote
@@treyt6474 still no one could do the same from Ford's clips. And he generally speaks more unprofessionally. Like he doesn't care cause trump supports him
I don't know, did the Republicans find someone to accuse him of sexual assault in his teen years at a party none of the other alleged witnesses don't even remember taking place?
Dicky Jones I'd happily support any investigation of perjury on her immediately following the one for Kavanaugh's 5 already proven lies to the Senate before any of this even started. He lied to the Senate on things that are easily provably false.
Really surprised by his temperament. I guess this is a guy who has always had his way in life and really throws a fit crying and yelling when things don't go his way. This is also the type of behavior associated with chronic alcohol use. Certainly that combined with his now VERY clear partisanship should cause him to be rejected.
93Jubilee Why would he ask for an investigation that would drag out over the midterms that could possibly get his nomination blocked by democrats if they pick up a couple seats... Also telling someone that he should ask for an investigation into himself is pretty close to the "You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide" - speech by joseph goebbels
Between now and Nov 6, the sitting Republicans, fearing the "inevitable", will be scurrying to push forward, as much of their deplorable agenda, as possible. This includes the upcoming federal budget approval (including "Wall" funding), more tariffs, etc. If there was anytime for PUBLIC PROTEST DEMONSTRATIONS, it is now, especially since the weather is still warm. And with Halloween coming up, let us voice our displeasure creatively....choose your costumes accordingly!
@@lindinle It has nothing to do with Blasey Ford's testimony and everything to do with how outraged and triggered he appeared. One psychologist I saw interviewed explained that those telling the truth will appear calm, measured, in control and do not show anger. Those telling a lie appear to try to convince with their level of outrage and passion (quite loudly) but with little factual substance.
+Chad Murphy You buffoon, reread what he said. He didn't say only drunk people can get mad, he said he gets mad like a drunk person would. Absolutely incredible, the intelligence of these people...
After all this time….. Still watching this he should never have been put on the roster to be voted into the SCOTUS. Nor should anyone. But imagine just how mean and vicious he is now what he must be like when he is drunk. I wonder how one sleeps at night k owing he was pushed into office by a double impeached president. He is appalling!!
that doesnt mean he is blind to who is attacking him. the left is clearly snarling and foaming at the mouth for this guys throat and u expect him to act like he doesn't know who is attacking him? The left has been unhinged since they lost in 2016 and they just cant get over it.
TJ Kraus Yes of course you would be mad, but you see a person asking for one of the most powerful position in the judiciary has to be held to a higher standard, and having a outburst like he is having is not a characteristic you want to see in a nominee of the Supreme Court.
So did I. And yes, you're right. These rich brats are born on third base and they think they hit a triple. Daddy will bail them out from any trouble they get into. And they take this feeling of self entitlement into adulthood.
Well well guess were all wasting our time!! Why didnt you just say so sooner? We could've avoided all the hearings and investigations!! Hes "like" guys you went to school with, so therefore hes guilty of sexual assault!! Lmao wow your shallow thought process is amazingly , well, shallow
I did not watch the whole or full hearing but what I have just seen from him in this clip is beyond shocking. How can someone like that be non-partisan? He sounds more of a politician than a judge. Does he not also take into account her accuser has had her life turned upside down too? His vicious testimony was all me, me me. Blimey, America yours is a strange country
He came across as knowledgeable and reserved, albeit somewhat indignant. Exactly what would be expected from an innocent man u der these circumstances.
@GanjeeMcStanky He went to the most expensive high school in the country. What part of "working your way to the top" does that sound like? The man was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Don't delude yourself into thinking he is just like you. He was born already at the top.
@@edphillips636 Knowledgable and reserved? The man sounds uneducated, uneloquent, and unprofessional. If I didn't know how these things work in the good ole boys club I'd wonder how he ever managed to get to this point in the first place.
You people are insane did you even watch the whole hearing? Did you know about the journal/diary that he has kept since he was 14 that outlines every event he has attended since then? Probably not.
His behavior was that of a confirmed alcoholic: wide swings in his temperament from belligerent to weepy to asking smart-aleck questions. Jeez! Not a man with any self-control.
Dicky Jones If you really believe the things you type, then I worry for you, you have a lot of hate inside you. Try looking around you, and deciding for yourself, and try to NOT react to anyone disagreeing with you by being abusive. Being good mannered, and polite, is what civilised folk do.
I thought it was very telling when the republicans got up and said that not only had the dems held onto that letter when they could have had the FBI investigate it but that during this whole senate judiciary investigation, not one democrat has offered to help in order to find out that truth. You can say what you want but if you are really interested in finding out what happened, you assist that comittee to help find that facts! The fact that none of them would cooperate at all is unbecoming of a US Senator and tells me what the objective really was here!
Emmett Hardie All accusers have ZERO proof. Diane Feinstein withheld the accusation from Republican committee members and, after accusation was leaked to the public, all Democrats refused to cooperate with Republicans. The delay tactics didn't work and Kavanaugh will be on the Supreme Court for the next 40-50 years.
He was emotional and angry and couldn't control some of that. He may have been hyper ventilating a little too. Are you all on the Left? If so, I'm surprised you judge people this way.
As an admitted alcoholic who has been to many AA meetings, this guy seems exactly like a guy in denial of a drinking problem. He probably knows he could easily have done this and not even remember, and hes super embarrassed about it which is why hes acting out so much.
My nephew is an alcoholic and acts exactly the same when he's sober. When he's drunk he is mean, belligerent and violent. I can't help but compare the similarities.
I am just bewildered because when he talks about his drinking he wasn't even old enough to drink if you're going to lie under oath, lie about something that's not so easily verifiable!
This guy's nuts imagine him being a Supreme Court Justice for the rest of his life but his career has been well planned out by his wife she created this person just do the research on her Ashley Estes Kavanaugh. it'll take you all the way back to the University of Austin and her as a personal secretary to then-governor GW Bush. She created this man and she created there near $1000000 house located in the little village of Chevy Chase and she's the town manager how exciting for her! They always say behind every good man or successful man... Well Ashley Estes Kavanaugh she's that woman! they even started having kids just as soon as possible after marriage to become the perfect political GOP family. It's like something out of a fairy tale but behind closed doors I'd like to be a fly on the wall.
@Dicky Jones if he wasn't guilty he wouldn't have to be so passionate about defending himself he's a liar whatever is the limit of drinking on the the chart the drinking chart what the heck was that all about this guy's nuts!
And that is what we call bias. You believe who you want to believe. Other people will have the opposite impression. Which is why should have something that atleast resembles proof before we actually destroy this mans life. Oh, and the legal age for drinking in the US hasn't always been 21 years.
Every day people have allegations made against them or are charged with crimes. They submit themselves to the judicial process. A Judge is meant to supervise the process in an impartial manner. This man has neither the character or impartiality to supervise a turkey raffle.
If he's innocent, as he says, then he should welcome an investigation. Grahams outburst and temper tantrum are so hypocritical. He's so upset because the Democrats want answers to legitimate questions and the Republicans wouldn't even give Garland the courtesy of a hearing. And then he has the nerve to accuse the Democrats of doing to this baboon what they did to Garland. I will NEVER vote Republican. Friends don't let friends vote Republican!

Brett was too defensive and argumentative to be believed. He probably is ashamed of his past. Had he come out and said he did drink too much at times in his life, he would have been more believable.

His body language obviously shows that he is not being completely honest he is holding something back. Anytime someone is extremely aggressive when being questioned is also a sign of not being honest. I found his whole testimony to sound rather scripted and acted out very badly. He may be academically accomplished, but he is a terrible actor.

The reference is that because the criminal Hillary was not elected president that liberals will do anything to undermine and lie to get what they want.
Republicans and the Trump supporters in particular still have delusions that it is about the 2016 elections. They can not perceive it is about what a disaster to have a SCOTUS that believe in presidential immunity, a SCOTUS who allegedly have wronged women for life and does not want an investigation that can clear his name from such allegations, a SCOTUS who already have judge against the law when it comes to women's right, not to mention that the GOP have stolen a SCOTUS slot from the people already, because another firmly right wing SCOTUS on the Supreme Court would make it fail to be representative of the people.

As a independent how can Brett now be a impartial judge when claiming it's all the Dems fault? Thought being a Judge meant being impartial, calm, honorable, respectful and kind? This man comes off as a drunk creep and a spoiled rich brat.
Because Ford came out in a letter to Feinstein and instead of handing the letter over to law enforcement, she held the information for 6 weeks before saying anything at all! Ford wanted to be kept out of media attention, but the democrats just had to parade her around.
This is how Brett Kavanaugh reacts to adversity. When the pressure is on this is Brett Kavanaugh, evasive, combative to the point of overt hostility and unnecessary lying. Is the guy you would want teaching your kids? If not why would you want him during on the highest court in the land?

@@TKBauer523 If a candidate for the Supreme Court screams hysterically that he is the victim of a leftwing plot orchestrated by the Democrats and the media as revenge for Hillary Clinton losing the election, if he refuses to give direct answers to direct questions, if he doesn't want an FBI investigation or additional witnesses to be heard, does that show the levelheaded, fairminded, impartial character that is required and expected of a judge? Or does it show the entitled, belligerent and partisan nature of a man who shouldn't even be allowed to sit as a judge in traffic court?

Ford's polygraph was only two questions and those questions were not about Kavanaugh.
7:40 his response to the question "what do you consider to be too many beers?" is revealing because it is essentially asking him about his drinking limits. He does not know what he considers to be too many. I drink beer and I know that five pints of beer is too much for me. Three pints or four pints at a push is my comfort level for want of a better phrase. But he says he does not know. Why would he not say how much beer he drinks before he stops? That indicates that he knows the answer would show that he has a serious drinking problem if he were honest about how much he drinks and how much beer he considers to be 'too much'.
Such a great point. It wouldn’t be surprising if he currently struggles with binge drinking. His inability to answer seems to suggest to me that “too many beers” is not until he is drunk. The amount of alcohol is moot when one purposely drinks to intoxication.
No, he was auditioning for a job as Attorney General, proving to our Dear Leader that he is nothing but passionately, fervently loyal to the Party's Glorious Design. I almost want him to get the job, so he'll learn the loyalty he gives will not be returned.
One point that may be lost in this process is this - the court justices WORK FOR US, the PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES (at least they are supposed to). I think we sometimes forget that. We have every right to expect that federal judges will be fair and impartial and independent, but independent doesn't equate to being temperamental, vindinctive and unaccountable. A judge that is so temperamental and vindictive, although he may be independent, is not a judge that we - the people - should accept, nor expect, to make decisions that are in the best interests of the people, on behalf of the people. Mr. Kavanaugh's refusal to be fully vetted (not willing to be investigated by the FBI as some of the people's representatives wanted) and his POOR TEMPERAMENT during the nomination process, can only lead a rational person to conclude that Mr. Kavanaugh was/is an unsuitable candidate to serve as one of our justices.

Stephen Cretella Chris Cortez for any regular person i would agree with you, for a judge on the supreme court, i feel the onus is on him. so i dont understand why he would oppose an fbi investigation or a lie detector test. she took one. whats the problem? additionally, literally everything he said speaks against him. he said he loved being a basketball coach more than anything else hes ever done - well then he should go back to that. i certainly dont want a supreme court judge like him. and let this be a warning to every person applying for that job - and yes this is an application to the american people, even though these republican senators tried to hammer it through as if theyre not beholden to anybody - if you want that seat, you better have a clean slate and better be prepared for the scrutiny. ITS A LIFETIME APPOINTMENT FOR CHRISTS SAKE.
Some drunks are mean drunks, and slip into a "rage stage" very quickly. I know, that was the kind of drunk my father was. Every moment of Kavanaugh's screaming, & his nasty, slightly wild facial expressions, and some of his crazy overreactions, and nutty answers, really brought back a lot of memories from my own childhood. How I wish SOMEBODY had asked him, right then, if he'd had anything to drink THAT DAY, and would he be willing to take a blood-alcohol test of some sort RIGHT THEN. We don't need a mean drunk making decisions that may affect Americans' lives for generations.
Maybe we should ask that about ford, wether or not she was drinking at the time she made this allegation. Or if she was drinking at the time this supposedly happened, oh wait, she was. I guess we can just declare everything she says as lie now, because u know, my mother was a drunk and everything ford says, her incoherent babbling about not remembering anything other then vague "memories", and the way she says it reminds me of my lying mother desperate for getting her alcohol fix... I know 3 women personally, my mom being one (shes not a drunk, i was being sarcastic), who was sexually assaulted by a former uncle of mine. Even for me as her son, it is quite disturbing to get confronted with this. 30 years later she can right off the bat describe a clear cut coherent story about the event and it never changed. None of you seem to comprehend that due process is there for YOU, not just "bad people".

Theres at least three women that have came forward now but they're ignoring it, The American Bar Association has now called for the fbi to investigate
@@yuhisarhim There's not going to be mathematical proof or a videotape. maccyknife1 I agree.. As Shakespeare wrote ... " I think he doth protest too much"
You know, the FBI guy that got fired for emails, and Agent Comey, BOTH were tightly controlled, terse, professional men who hardly blinked during the toughest part of their congressional interviews.
Wouldn't it be nice if the bar association did take away his license? He wouldn't be able to sit on any bench!!

Boy, this guy has a lot of bile in him. And he uses his anger to obfuscate and not answer the question asked. Question: Why do you not want the FBI to investigate. His anger strikes me as the tantrum of a poor little rich kid not getting his entitlement when he demands it. This guy has an attitude that is reminiscent of Trump's rich boy petulance.

"'First of all, proper procedure was not followed in the case of President Obama’s nominee in 2016.

"things don't go his way" is of course the same as being accused of a sexual crime without evidence...
Zachary Taylor Thanks for your input
@nein wieso Yet he refuses to ask for an investigation that would definitively PROVE there is no evidence. . .

The worst SC Judge applicant I've witnessed in my lifetime. He plays the angry drunk well.
hes in the cult of trump
Easy. Three. Or maybe that's just me.
