I've seen mixed reviews from women who tried the simulators. Most say it's very weak compared to their actual period pain and they don't have much of a reaction to the simulator. While I've heard a few say it's similar. All the guys seem to act like these dudes. I think because they don't know what to expect when going into it. Women experience the pain often so , they know what to expect. It's kinda nice that the men can experience it kinda. It shows that women aren't over-reacting about their period pains. And every woman is different. Some can function and endure their period pain, while others will be left in crippling pain. People have different pain tolerances.
A couple of things to consider with these tests: i could imagine pain that originates within the body is more impactful than pain from external source + women usually have a higher body fat percentage (especially around that area) so the electrical currents might not deliver as much pain to them vs the men + women are warriors with trained pain tolerance.
Women who have rily bad cramps probably expect worse so when they have this its like nothing. I tried it with my cousin whose a male and I felt 10 was def worse than my usual cramps (5-6 were more my usual). But even the worst didn’t feel SO bad to me.
I agree. But pain tolerance doesn’t always work for period pain. I actually have issues feeling pain to the point my family thinks I have issues with my nerves (the highest I’ve used was a 3 on the pain scale, that being when I injured my shoulders and when I broke my wrist it was only a 2). But my period I would rate a 9 or 10. What I always find funny is that I actually use a tenz unit (the machine that is usually used to simulate period cramp) to alleviate them. I crank that sucker up to the highest setting 😂 That + heat = blissful numbness
When she said the guy was overreacting and he said he wanted to hit her for saying that, I laughed so hard. Yes, that is how women feel when we're told it's not that bad
I'm not sure if I'm lucky or not... Because I rarely get cramps during my period. But when I do they hurt so bad! My first and second time I got it I had cramps the whole time! 😭
"is this why girls get moody?" No, now combine it with the body pain, constant leaking sensation, rashes due to pads, sometimes you're constipated and sometimes you have diarrhoea. Yeah that's why
So that why women are naturally more tolerable to pain. We have to learn to adjust to pain the only time we have a similar thing happen is kidney stones and while we dont get the other things the pain is literally one of the worst on earth.( and even that dose t always happen)
@@ky-passley4769 now imagine we can give birth without painkillers. But you get morfine for kidney stones. There is a reason some woman scream during childbirth. Its menstral cramps but 100 times worse.
I am not the type of person to feel so happy at other people's discomfort, but this just made me so happy all men in the world need to do this so that they know what this stuff feels like.
"I am not the type of person to feel so happy at other people's discomfor" But I also want to inflict pain on half of the worlds population, seeing these guys in pain made me *so happy*
He was just overreacting and pretending for the camera. It would be a boring video if they didn’t. Can’t believe you’re all getting so happy over this XD
The worst part is that weird feeling in your abdomen, when you can't really tell if you're about to throw up, need to take a big dump or you're just in excruciating pain. And the back pain. When no matter how you sit there's that nagging pain you just can't get rid of. I can deal with the sharp pain, that feeling of being continually stabbed in the abdomen, it's not fun but I can deal with it. The dull, nagging pain is the worst part for me.
watching this while on my period makes me feel better about my pain, because when you see them react more dramatically than the rest of us, you get a sense of satisfactory, knowing that now they know how much it hurts on the first time
I had to play 3 soccer games today on the worst period day I've ever had and my team is mostly males and they tools me to suck it up bc it can't be that bad or that I'm overreacting or that I was lieing when I collapsed on the field in pain so I think I might just buy one of these and get revenge
And the female gym teachers, too, on the PCOS/Endometriosis setting, while doing sports...because they are the ones more likely to give a girl the most grief over wanting to sit out, expecting us to all act like the gymnast girls in the tampon commercials, and claiming that we are over-reacting, and that it isn't as bad as we say.
@@shakira7301 It's not just that, but if they're irregular or if you have other [related] health issues even after that you bleed past 40, too. I completely agree with you.
@@midnull6009 Men can and occasionally do get mammograms (my grandfather has had them), and a man's std swab is done with the same sort of tool as a woman's pap smear, and goes in their ureteral (my husband told me about it). They aren't typically done as "routine care" for men, however.
The stimulator is just 50% of the actual pain, it doesn't include dizziness, pain in the back, in your hips, in your boobs and sometimes LBM due to menstrual cramps. You boys have no idea how stressful and painful it was, that is just a peek.
Yea and like, the pain is also just a small reason for you to be moody/irritated. The big reason is the hormones which will have you crying over nothing and then laughing the next minute. But yea your whole body is tender basically.
I know these things aren’t completely accurate to what period pain is like but I think every man (or even women who get minor or no cramps) should try this at least once in their life just to put things into perspective for us because there’s nothing worse than being in pain and being treated like you’re overreacting/should be able to handle it. I’m especially annoyed with how girls aren’t given time off work/school for this and have to use their sick days.
Haha, I don't get cramps luckily and neVER plan to heh. I think it mostly applies to people who have mocked or joked about periods, which is not me. Even tho I feel no pain and don't really get emotional, etc etc, I do hateee when I lose clothes to stains and have definitely had to free bleed at a work shift once or twice. Oii, and accidentally bleeding on something in public-- grrr. Periods really suck a shitton even if you don't get the bad kind.

My gym teacher used to say: "girls, period is not an illness!" (therefore, not a valid reason for not excercising).... yeah, it might not be an illness but it's definitely a bodily condition which restrains our daily abilities. I don't wanna speak for every girl, but for me, I'd be better at excercising and running with a full-blown flu symptoms, rather than doing that during my 1st or 2nd day of period. The remaining days are kinda doable for me when it comes to the bodily discomfort, it's just the mental fear of leaking and sweating way too much than normal. PS: I climbed a mountain on my 1st day of period. I got my period when I was very close to the peak, I decided not to give up and I finished climbing and I climbed all the way down. I still haven't absorbed the thought on how on earth I was able to do that. It was heaven and hell. And I'm proud of that
Bruhh gurl this kinda thing also happened to me 😭 I was in my martial arts class when the period had started.( hopefully i was prepared ) I was too shy to tell it to my teacher cuz he is a male and i had to do all the exercises and activities with my cramps😭😭 that was terrible

the worst feeling of having period is when you have to sneeze while having a bad cramps. god that hurts so bad i had to hold my sneeze (based from experience i was traumatized at)
I had a huge, gleeful smile on my face through the entirety of this video, not gonna lie. I love how she was like “yep, this is the right amount” so casually. Because women are expected to go about their days with no problem while bearing that pain. My cramps make me lose my appetite because usually all I can think about is the pain. Sometimes medicine barely even dulls the pain. I’d say it feels somewhat similar to an awful (awful) stomach ache, but concentrated more near the front of your navel, near your bladder. But unlike a stomach ache, there’s no relief from the pain. And sometimes I get aches and pressure in my entire pelvic region to the point of my hip bones feeling like they are molten lava. Not every month is that bad. I definitely need to eat healthier and do yoga because the instinct to curl up in a ball and eat chocolate is probably not helping.
My favorite thing about this-is where he says “Is this how girls feel when someone says that?” Yes! It is. Also-that they both suddenly understand afterwards what is the proper way to treat women who are in pain. Also: their expressions! They actually have “the look” on their faces afterwards that ALL women have after being in period pain.
No Fr! My mom literally got onto me every time I made a face on my period in public, and my sisters said "you don't have to walk around like you're dying." I had to walk, talk, jump, do everything while having abdominal pain. They mostly did that so in public, I know not to hold my stomach, make faces when talking, and give any attitude. Respect is a big thing in our culture, so we try our hardest to be as nice as we can with or without a period.
If only period symptoms ended with just cramps lol. There’s also insomnia, mood swings, diarrhea, constipation, joint pain, back pain, anemia, fatigue, etc. for some people. And you can’t leave out the constant blood flow for 3-7 days of course.
THIS EXACTLY. And men are usually the ones who just lay down when they have a little headache or back pain while us women experience all those things at once but still function as normal
And some women like me have mittelschmerz too . Meaning we can feel the ovulation and it hurts like hell (not as bad as periods but still pretty bad ) from a few hours for the luckys gals (not me 😅) to 2-3days . So basically pain twice per cycle (+the rest of course )
I once heard about women who got period cramps so bad that they caught a fever, or can't get up, or needing to take painkillers etc etc. To this day I am still glad that my period cramps never get that bad, and I hope that people that do experience it have a good support system around them
Many women, mine aswell, habe to take painkillers every months for the first 3 or 4 days, and not like 2 doses, talking about at least 5-6 a day depending on how bad it is. Resulting in stomach problems like diarheea because of the pain killers damaging ingredients to the stomach for the next week. Yeah, its not so fun. But without the pain killers I couldnt sleep, couldnt ear or go to worl for these days.
I’ve felt period pain so damn bad that I was stuck in place, practically clawing at my Mum who was there comforting me. It was one of my first periods too so I had no idea why it hurt so bad. Turns out, I have a disease called Endometriosis. It’s a genetic disease and my Mum also has it.
watching those "men try period pain" videos I always wondered if it actually was accurate cause they seemed to be in so much pain and there was no girls try it so I thought those machines are probably too strong so I really appreciate HeeJae for trying it first and giving a believable comparison. Now I can finally believe that women's pain tolerance is much higher for real! Good confidence boost haha
i've seen a couple of these types of videos and every one of them had a woman try it first so we knew it was semi-accurate. i don't think women's pain tolerance is higher we just know what it feels like and are used to it/know what to expect while these dudes have never felt it in their lives haha

Period underwear is a lifesaver if you have low to medium-heavy flow, I don't thinik it works for people with very heavy flows. I have normal to heavy and it works fine for me. It is quite the investment too but very worth it.
This reminded me of the time that we had a lady come to my school for national women’s day and held a student group reunion. During the end of it we got into the topic of periods and craps and mentioned that cramps are similar to heart attacks in pain level. And one of the annoying boys said “But how can you do sports with a heart attack?” And proceeded to argue with an actual female expert and saying she was exaggerating. The counselor had to make him shut up.

im sorry, guys, but women do enjoy watching this. We spend our whole lives hearing we are weak and dramatic, but we endure gut wrenching pain while bleeding, sometimes even before and after and all other fun things that comes with our hormones going nuts and attacking us. We give birth, for christ sake. We separate bones and tear ligaments to put people into this Earth. And we still have to hear BS our whole lives over it. Its not about you, you guys are really sweet and understanding, but most guys arent like that and feels good to be recognized for the effort we have to make just to keep our daily routines and still be told to smile. Great vid!
Being a female myself, It’s funny with the guys being nervous to try the simulator. Because us females go through this pain monthly. And on top of that, we bleed nonstop, have bloating, fatigue, nausea, some vomit, passout, etc…and we still have to go on about our day like everything is fine. I just got over my period a couple days ago. And had to work 12hr shifts on the first 2 days of my cycle. Let’s just say, I felt like utter sh*t both days. I almost collasped from exhaustion and pain because I work in healthcare and had to walk a lot all over the hospital scanning ICU patients and Covid patients.
@thomas well well well....why didn't Taliban fighters win against US troops years ago? Why were US troops defeated, they were men "strong beings"? Why did Allah choose females for child birth , which is the second most painful experience human body can survive (I hope you know first one is being burnt alive)and not men "The stronger beings"? I don't say women are stronger then men or otherwise...I say Allah made both equally strong . Something like this, I think, should be a required experience for every guy. Could be included in health/sex-ed class perhaps. Peer pressure would ensure that every, or almost every guy tries it.

It's just so validating for once to see people saying the pain is bad, instead of telling us to just get over it. However, of course you have to add the pains to the rest of our body and how messed up our hormones make our emotions and bodily state. On top of the fact we are literally constantly bleeding for days! My husband once said this sweet thing that gives me confidence everytime I'm on my period. He said he once heard about civilisations before ours, worshipping women as types of gods because they are the ones who can "bleed but does not die". Everytime I feel weak for not dealing with the pain well I think to myself "I am the one that bleeds and does not die" no joke haha it makes me feel so much stronger when I'm doubled over in pain.
It's not sadism really. Since we're so used to men downplaying our experiences, it's really validating to see them understand what it's like and acknowledge that it's bad.
He knew all the info but he damn sure wasn't ready for reality lol I wish they could experience "the gush" when you stand up.... how can we simulate that??
They're done in like five minutes and never have to do it again. For those with uteruses, it's like that three days straight, twelve or thirteen times a year, for approximately 40 years, and there is no escape. Drugs honestly barely even make a difference. We spend about 35,000 hours of our lives experiencing that level of pain. So now, perhaps it makes sense why so many people with uteruses who don't want kids do WANT hysterectomies. For every year that a doctor delays a wanted hysterectomy, they cause at least 800 hours of extra, unnecessary pain to their patients. How can inflicting that on an adult who has already weighed their choices possibly be considered ethical?
You're right. 10 years ago I asked my Drs for a hysterectomy, due to endometriosis, adenomyosis, and ovarian cysts, they both said no, cuz I have no kids and may want them. They said to relieve the pain, 'have a kid, it might help.' (are you fucking serious?) Current day, I still want no children, they still won't remove it.

Best way I've ever found to describe it is like imagining you have food poisoning to a degree that you're stuck in the bathroom for hours and you just wanna die. The degree of pain is also different for everyone, so my decription could only be scratching the surface for what other women have to go through. It really would be cool to have these devices in schools. Give guys a baseline experience as to one of the reasons why women get so moody every month.
Hoseung busting out the period knowledge was very impressive to be fair. Most guys don't know nearly that much, but he got the low blood pressure, the temperature changes, the dizziness, which I don't see talked about that often. My cramps made me pass out but idk if they'd have gotten better because I had to go on birth control at 12 or 13 with how much blood I was using.

My bf does and I think that is why I care even more for him because he tries to be knowledgeable. The "you're experienced" part is, honestly, part of what makes it so hard. Many girls are twelve years old or younger, having this pain, learning to clean up the blood and use the various products, and figure out how to get up and function and go to school because hey....this is your new normal for 3 to 7 days once a month for probably the next 30 to 40 years. It's hard to be a CHILD and already deal with that. I once was commenting on a scene involving a lot of blood in a movie, saying it looked real. I was with only male friends, and they asked "how so you know what a bunch of blood looks like?" 😑 Most women see more blood in a few months than a man may see in years and years, unless he works in the medical field or has had/witnessed a serious accident or medical procedure.
I got mine at 12. I hated it so much. At least I was blessed for it to start in the morning and not in the middle of class. But since then if I forgot to take three to four doses of painkillers then oh god, school was torture. I'd just sit hunched over my desk sweating in waves of nausea and weakness from cramps. Not to mention sometimes my trousers would start to smell like blood and I only had one pair of uniform pants for school ..
There's nothing about seeing someone else in pain that makes me feel good. However, seeing this is very validating. It's good to know that others have trouble functioning with this pain and that it's ok to acknowledge the fact that you're dealing with it. There's nothing (nothing healthy) you can do to get rid of this, but it helps when other people acknowledge this and behave considerately
The only five minute opportunity to show two guys what we deal in a lifetime dosen't sound very sadistic to me. Women are that desperate to tell people we are suffering because we have been gaslighted all the time

The bump and labor simulator would also be great for girls who want to be parents and never had kids but don’t know if they can handle the pain of labor. I think so Anyways
4:11 that's not a valid argument at all. Every girl gets it the first time in their life , sometimes as young as 9 or 11 and there's no button to just "turn it off". The pain comes with the bleeding, bloating, wearing pads for first time and learning how to walk with it, cramps, vomiting for some, diarrhea, and more. And then they have to deal with it for a week every month until they're 50-60. So this is really nothing.
@@solmoman ok but that shit doesnt happen every month?????? is someone kicking your nuts 7 days a week once every month? if so... weird fetish if you ask me
@@solmoman And I bet you can take some pills to prevent Misogynistic Whiny Bitch syndrome. Periods can send people to the hospital. It’s happened to me before, it’s happened to my friends. Oh, and don’t forget the consistent bleeding that makes you feel like you’re pissing yourself. (That’s more of a minor annoyance, but still.) And did I forget to mention that you constantly feel like you have to use the bathroom, you can’t tell if you just have to shit or if it’s cramps, and the constipation and/or diarrhea that comes with all that. All of that and more. Plus things like ovary cysts and endometriosis that can come with that, that cause pain worse then appendicitis. (And thats coming from someone who’s appendix burst.) Plus men consistently putting you down and telling you that “you’re overreacting” and to just “suck it up”. I’ve broken my arm before, and that hurts less then my period. I’ve tried medications to help, and they only thing they have done so far is take the edge off if nothing at all. So yeah, maybe women do complain about periods, but rightfully so. Do your research before you speak, or simply don’t speak at all.

I vomit multiple (like 20-25 times) the first 24 hours of my period + unable to eat anything+ unbelievable pain so I feel you. It has happened in every period I have had in the past 2 years and its the worst
I heard some time ago, that during your period the body actually increases the sensitivity of pain receptors. Making you feel more pain than your would normally. So cramps hurt so much worse on a period vs cramps off one. As well as any external pain, like knocking into something.
That's exactly how I know I'm about to start my extremely irregular periods. A bump on a normal day doesn't hurt that much, but a bump when I'm about to start hurts like hell
I haven't really noticed that before but i wasn't really looking for it. personally half the time i have cramps for a couple days almost a week before my period actually starts and then no cramps during. when i have cramps before my period they hurt like hell but when i have cramps during they don't hurt nearly as much? i don't know why but mabey i should get it checked out?
It'd be interesting and fun to watch male diplomats, government officials, celebrities and K-pop idols doing this experiment to raise their own and the public's awareness of this period pain issue to educate and teach growing adolescent boys and men to respect girls and women for whatever they go through. (I'm not asking for labour pain simulator, although that would be ideal!).
Hypothetically, That’s now been done, what do you want to happen after that? What is the overall goal, just awareness? If you have medical treatment, pads and other equipment and services dedicated to menstruation which already available in most developed countries include s.Korea than awareness is already very high.

@CLaW I made a joke. Lame as it may be; I think you either forgot your sense of humor in another room, or didn’t calibrate your response to best match what you were replying to.
I dunno who or why they deleted their comments, maybe they were being hateful or something. But this was a majorly shitty, tasteless joke. You'd have to stack 50,000 senses of humor together to be able to stomach this one without getting in a touchy mood after reading it.

Commenting that adult males should have empathy for over half of the world's population? Noting that pre-teen girls get periods & cramps? @@SuperLadyDanger No, it was the pseudo-political nuisancical statement of female superiority with mysandrist undertones that have no place in a "joke".
I love how in all of these types of videos (Period pain simulators) whenever the topic is brought up or the guys and crying out in pain the girls are so happy and clapping with joy LMAO
Also each and every such video only has soy boys testing it. I'm still waiting for a test where actual athletes try it, like say, boxers. And no, I'm not saying it doesn't hurt for women, but these literal howls and cries are just ridiculous.
@@camelway It does feel exaggerated to me, but then again like the girl said in the video, it was also extremely painful for me when I first experienced it, versus it ending up as (still extremely sore) but I learnt to function with it. It would be interesting to watch athletes try it, but it is also important just to have normal guys attempt it since most people who have this pain aren't athletes and such who have a higher pain tolerance. I have had days with period pain where I was crying on the floor and writhing (I'm on medicine now to stop the pain, and my periods by extension) so I'm not too surprised but I do wonder how genuine it is haha. Also biologically it could also hurt guys a bit more since we have extra fat percentage in that area in general compared to men. I think it might be a bit worse for muscular guys since the simulator might give their actual muscles full cramps haha
I don’t think it depends much on whenever guy is an athlete or not. Everyone has a different pain tolerance yes, but male athletes could also never experience period crumps kind of pain since they don’t have periods. It’s not like female athletes have better period pain tolerance is it? Also yeah, as u have said most people aren’t athletes so I think it’s more important for them to try, especially all those boys who say that periods don’t hurt and we are just being dramatic 🙄
@@camelway it's NOT ridiculous. My first time with cramps I was screaming and crying at my dads house because I had never felt something so horrible in my entire life. I almost fainted so many times and vomited and all from the pain... I've now grown used to the pain with time but it's still that same pain level I can just bare with it now... it's definitely not exagerated
Same for me too. I usually can't sit too long because the pain in my back gets more and more unbearable. My abdomen has more of that dull pain. İt hurts so much but its also indescribable. Nousea, feeling of tiredness, but ı still feel lucky because ı usually feel fine after taking painkillers and resting that day. I had more pain back then.
@@aceofkpop1243 Oh okay, I didn't know about that, thanks for the info! It really looks like symptoms can differ a lot from person to person when it comes to periods.
As a man I never experienced this, but I always was sympathetic towards women when they had their periods. Either because I've witnessed the reactions of my mother and sister (seeing them in pain always made me sad) or because my dad told me to be when he had the "father-son talk" with me. The thing is, it was always other women who were cruel. I was manager of a super market in my early 20's and when a female worker had her period I was easy on her (for example, I didn't let her lift boxes) but all the other women got angry at me for doing that. Believe it or not, they were saying "So what if she's on her period? When I'm on my period I'm not complaining". I've witnessed that kind of attitude my entire life. PS: When my first girlfriend had her period, I tried to hug her in order to comfort her. She screamed "leave me alone!". I was in shock, then I got angry, I thought "I was only trying to be nice to you, wtf?" (don't judge me, I was clueless, try to see it from my point of view). I got up, said nothing and left. I ghosted her for the rest of the night and the next morning she was crying and told me: "why you left me?"... I've learned a lot with that experience!
I hope you don't get discouraged from those experiences! I appreciate the effort that you put into trying to be understanding with something you cannot personally relate to. It's definitely not a walk in the park, hence those who do take the initiative are few and far between. I see you, and hopefully many others will as well 🤗
For guys out there: the pain varies from person to person and from day to day. It’s not always that bad . For me it ranges from getting cut into two by a chainsaw to the point where I cannot stand or move to not even noticing my period. It really depends.
Yeah that's right.. My friend really has it bad, really bad, she needs to take one week leave from school because of the cramp... I lucky enough to not feel so much pain..
The point I want to clarify those boys When she says "is it that much painful?" They replied "we're newbies, you're experienced".:: No. She seriously means it. Like she felt it only twitches on the surface but you can never experience the pulling effect of inner organ with any machine, accompanied by nausea , chills and joint pain. With all these cases , what you guys experience is very very less. Plus you said we're experienced. Hell no. Because it's FRESH NEW TO US EVERY MONTH. Your body get used to any sort of pain only when it happens consistently everyday. Like the soreness that follows after workout. You exercise everyday and you'll see your body getting used to all the soreness and muscle relaxed with time. But when you're a no-workout lazy person and you exercise only once in a month then every time you do your body feels new to that heavy duty and gets sore the same way. It's the same for periods pain. It doesn't pain everyday for us to get used to it (with that level of pain a human would die if it happens everyday. God saved). It pains all of a sudden almost after 4 weeks of gap. So our body is new to it every single time and that's why it feels like hell.
Maybe others got used to the pain but it never got better for me. There were many times I would vomit or pass out due to the pain. Other times, I would writhed in pain and cried myself to sleep.
Is it wrong that I love vids like these? Every time. I’m like yessss that’s what we go through. For me, I have endometriosis and an ovarian cyst that’s 3 cm wide. The pain can be similar to labour pain and it comes on so suddenly without warning. It’s so satisfying seeing men go through it.
The pain is just a minor part of it. There's the mood swings, the binge-eating, and the sensation of the blood pooling in your pants and the _fear_ that it may leak out for the world to see.
Yeah, and fainting! When I was a teenager, I fainted more than once during my period. My blood pressure was very low, especially in the mornings, and when added to that, blood was flowing out of me... Well, I fainted.
Not the binge eating for all of us, I can't stand feeling full during my period. Makes me feel weak constantly because I can't think about food with pain so strong that it makes me nauseous, so I don't get enough sometimes. Top that with constantly bleeding through my clothes because I'm so heavy that it leaks out before the pad has time to absorb all the blood. gosh forbit I sit for 30 minutes at a time, and my clothes are then ruined. Excuse me for being a bit cranky when this only a part of this sucky portion of the month lol
@・s y l v i a・ huh I hope it gets better. It's definitely worth checking it out with a doctor. There are also some things that might help: cardio exercise - it helps to boost your blood pressure. Healthy food. I love chocolate and carbs and coffee - however, sadly, they are not good for our body. Try to eat as healthy as you can. Read about Candida diet. There are also different herbs that have a positive effect upon our hormone system and metabolism, but sports and food have the most intensive impact. Also, get enough sleep at night. If your symptoms still persist, then you should really go to a doctor. I wish you good health 💜
Imagine this pain ( mostly ten times worse) plus diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, tender breast, pissed mood and the need to eat everything. Sometimes I really hate to be a girl. ^_^
Yeah I sometimes hate it too. But I loved breastfeeding, the intimacy and connection I had with my children literally feeding them with my own body, that was so beautiful!!! For me personally that was worth all the period pains in my life 😀
I hate it when it’s at a *REALLY INCONVENIENT TIME* and you have to deal with a certain annoying sweatiness when you have a fever and migraine that came out of nowhere no matter how much you drink water, and then the need to sit down but bend over and vomit and need to writhe in pain but have to keep clean as possible??! And then I have long hair that just ARGHHHHHH and last month I almost passed out and couldn’t move my legs anymore and nearly just collapsed on the floor in front of the toilet door open, tried to call my parents as they were downstairs and the toilet is on the top of the stairs so I tried to call them on phone and shouting my but my voice was going and I became so weak I couldn’t even open my eyes anymore and barely could breath. Later I called after like 20+ times phone and shouting and my parents who were asleep woke up and my dad said what’s wrong? I wasn’t wearing any shorts as I needed to take it off when it was drenched in blood and was too sticky but by the time I managed to walk back from my room to put a pad my legs gave out as I practically dragged myself with one strong enough arm god... and then he just gave me a shirts and said it’s ok if I get blood on it just to cover me and my mom tried lifting me up making sure I wake up so I don’t fully pass out. They work as nurse and HCA in the hospital so they were fanning me to give me air and checked my blood pressure and oxygen levels and it was so low and they helped me rest and to try keep awake so I wouldn’t need to go to A&E if I wasn’t recovering. Supposedly I’m slightly anemic so it could be part of it but not really. I do take supplement tablets. But yeah, point of the story is that the body can take different measures of pain and growth and whatever happens to your body either naturally or however you got affected but this comes to show all our experiences are different but it’s good to know that you can learn more about the human body and notice symptoms to help or be aware. Sorry this was SO long but just wanted to put it out there since this was my latest bad experience with periods. Don’t worry I was ok at the end of that day. And now I’m just hoping the due date which is around the time I am typing this isn’t going to be too late as my last period was really late and then I suffered😫 But I will make sure I am near people if I ever feel unwell and it gets worse
@Honey actually my father, brother and husband are very sweet when I'm on my period. My husband tells me to stay in bed, if I don't need to go to work and he'll take care of the kids and the cooking. He makes chamomile tea for me and buys me chocolate or other things I crave. Patriarchy sucks, but not all men are selfish or ignorant or both.
If pain is making you vomit or pass out, then make sure to have a chat with a doctor with experience in reproductive diseases!! Endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS are way more common than people think, and there are treatments available that can make life way easier.
My doctor once told me that everybody feels the same amount of pain, but people experience and deal with it differently. He then made a point of that in his experience, his female patients were usually way better equipped at handling pain, especially unavoidable, necessary pain. Men are often more prone to take risks that might result in pain, but deal very differently when the pain is inevitable and unescapable.
When he started getting mood swing as she said you're overreacting 😂 that's so relatable cause that's how girls feel every time guys said that. Glad these guys at least got to know this.

Of course it doesnt really compare they can only experience one part of the pain
And they also feel different levels of pain during their periods. For some it’s really bad while others barely feel anything

No, now combine it with the body pain, constant leaking sensation, rashes due to pads, sometimes you're constipated and sometimes you have diarrhoea. Yeah that's why
So that why women are naturally more tolerable to pain. We have to learn to adjust to pain the only time we have a similar thing happen is kidney stones and while we dont get the other things the pain is literally one of the worst on earth.( and even that dose t always happen)

Korean "men" are hella weak
My favorite thing about this-is where he says “Is this how girls feel when someone says that?” Yes! It is. Also-that they both suddenly understand afterwards what is the proper way to treat women who are in pain. Also: their expressions! They actually have “the look” on their faces afterwards that ALL women have after being in period pain.
I KNOW! I NOTICED THE LOOK AND THOUGHT IT WAS SO FAMILIAR!
One of them was seriously just sitting how I do when I have to act normal but am cramping lol
@Thomas H That is certainly a comment.
@Thomas H BAHAHAHHAHAHAGAGAGAG You're seriously funny dude
Isn't the back pain also related to the cramps?
And some women like me have mittelschmerz too . Meaning we can feel the ovulation and it hurts like hell (not as bad as periods but still pretty bad ) from a few hours for the luckys gals (not me 😅) to 2-3days . So basically pain twice per cycle (+the rest of course )

im sorry, guys, but women do enjoy watching this.

The difference comes in what they are capable of doing for their respective responsibilities and skills......

Something like this, I think, should be a required experience for every guy. Could be included in health/sex-ed class perhaps. Have one or more female classmate give it a go to prove it works and provide an opinion on the accuracy, and then every dude gives it a go.

And did I forget to mention that you constantly feel like you have to use the bathroom, you can’t tell if you just have to shit or if it’s cramps, and the constipation and/or diarrhea that comes with all that. All of that and more.
Plus things like ovary cysts and endometriosis that can come with that, that cause pain worse then appendicitis. (And thats coming from someone who’s appendix burst.)
Plus men consistently putting you down and telling you that “you’re overreacting” and to just “suck it up”. I’ve broken my arm before, and that hurts less then my period. I’ve tried medications to help, and they only thing they have done so far is take the edge off if nothing at all. So yeah, maybe women do complain about periods, but rightfully so. Do your research before you speak, or simply don’t speak at all.
Imagine having endometriosis and PCOS and your doctor telling you that requesting pain medication is ‘addict-behavior’. Ma’am, I feel like I’m DYING.
Oh, I'd want to punch that doctor in the face and throw them words right back in their face when they ask for pain medication.
If you don't want bio kids at all, looking into getting a partial hysterectomy (everything but the ovaries) might be worthwhile. My surgeon found both cysts and endo when she got the damned thing out, and not having that torture every month is legit life changing.
I don’t like seeing people in pain but I love seeing men in period cramp sims.
Edit: I am so happy to see they are feeling the same anger we do when they say “you’re overreacting”
Just as a reminder: even though is common to suffer cramps and a lots of pain is not normal, be sure to do check ups with your doctor because sometimes is something more serious
I had a cyst and avoided surgery right on time, my period cramps were so strong before that I was afraid of my period
Hi, what should i say to the doctor if i wanna do the checkups? 🥺
@@angelicvkook you don't really need to say anything to do a check up, is totally normal going to a gynecologist for a check up
But you could say how you feel during your periods, if they are regular or not, and if you initiate your sexual life, you should also see the doctor just in case ~ in my country they advise you to go to the gynecologist when you turn 14, or when you have your first period so if you're around that age you could also go ~
@@angelicvkook in my case (when i had a cyst) i usually had painful periods, but suddenly my periods were reaaally painful, specially to one side and it kept happening for 3 months until i went for the doctor :'

Period cramps bothered me, too but several gynecologists said that i am healthy
I keep telling this too my family but because I’ve had serious pains since my first ever period and every female in my family had endometriosis. They’ve just self diagnosed me bc there’s not much anyone can do to fix that. I just went on birth control to get rid of them completely.

The worst pain that I had during menstruation is when I woke up, I felt really, really sick then I tried to walk but only end up lying on the floor again and I kept on vomitting. I can still remember that time. Fortunately, there is no classes that day so I get to rest. I literally cried that time and I still can remember my sister taking care of me and I can't eat anything. It is the worst of mine.
This happens to me every month :')

@@CinderXiaoLong if you mean you just started your period it doesn't hurt too much
@@Jihyowifi not just getting it, have had it for several years - can't afford to have it checked out because America and broke college student
This is also why you should think twice about getting a tattoo when you're about to start or currently on your period.

My cramps are never just centralized to my abdomen, mine go to my lower back, my hips *AND* down my legs 😩
I also get pain in the hips and legs, especially in my thighs, it's the first time I see someone talking about it :o
@@Cicaa From what I've read/heard, only about 15% of people who have periods experience leg cramping with it, so it's not talked about as much!
@@aceofkpop1243 Oh okay, I didn't know about that, thanks for the info! It really looks like symptoms can differ a lot from person to person when it comes to periods.
Oh lord...I'm so sorry.
My pain is so bad I get cold sweats and pass out. :)
I see you, and hopefully many others will as well 🤗
I think this same thing happens to us girls, like, someone say “stop acting” or something like that but, bro, it really hurts
For guys out there: the pain varies from person to person and from day to day. It’s not always that bad . For me it ranges from getting cut into two by a chainsaw to the point where I cannot stand or move to not even noticing my period.
It really depends.

When she says "is it that much painful?" They replied "we're newbies, you're experienced".::
No.
So our body is new to it every single time and that's why it feels like hell.
eh I would say you do kinda get used to it. Like, it still hurts but you get better at blocking it out and dealing with it.
@@areebaahmed8977 that never helps anyone in any situation. It's just annoying, try not to say it.

Anemia too
If pain is making you vomit or pass out, then make sure to have a chat with a doctor with experience in reproductive diseases!!
What's worse is this is only the cramp pain. they're still not bleeding, light headed, cravings, mood swings, ect.
