What do we do if it's a phone consultation and we need to bring someone in to examine? How should i tell that to the patient and in that case how do I state the definitive diagnosis? Because until I have examined, won't it be just a list of provisional diagnosis only?
For phone consult that requires F2F appt for examination, I would verbalise the most likely diagnosis (i.e working diagnosis) followed by treatment/referral that may be considered depending on examination findings.
