I recently applied for an MVO position in GA. I received a phone call asking if I’m still interested (yes). My application status updated from “pre-hire list” to “hiring list.” Does anyone know how much longer it will take before I receive any more updates about the job?

I start Dec. 2024. It seems things are different in other states.
1. I received no phone call.
2. I did receive a series of emails with link for information might have been three different link for background checks where you live now and prior. People you know w/ address and some phone # and how long you've known them of course your job history if your male your selective service #.
3. Your interview the email they send you will tell you what to bring. Remember that selective service # email for drug test. Email for your Clearinghouse permission.
4. The wait.
5. 2 weeks ago I got a phone call asking when can I start I was given two start days I pick Dec.
6. I'm waiting for one more email.
I believe I apply for United States postal service in July. Maybe different in your state. New York City here.
